About: I've been watching dogs for about 7 years now, mostly small and medium dogs, and I have a real soft spot for herding breeds. I love going on walks with them, usually around 30-45 minutes in the neighborhood, to help burn off their energy and keep them active. I especially love walking younger, energetic dogs because I can go longer with them (getting my steps in) but, I also have a big love for senior dogs and take it slower and easier for them. Every dog is different, so I like to give them what they need — whether that's a good long walk or just sweet cuddles and their own space to relax. I try to keep things calm for them the whole time they're with me. I also send lots of pictures throughout the day so you can see your pup enjoying themselves and know they're safe and having a good time. Right now I'm actually watching a friend's dog, and I'd love to bring that same care to your pup too. I do ask for at least 24 hours' notice when possible, just so I can work around everyone's schedule and be fully ready for your dog. I have a lot of flexibility right now and I'm available throughout the week and most weekends, aside from Saturday nights. That means I can usually work around whatever schedule fits you and your pet best. I prefer taking care of animals in their own home. When their family is away, that can be a stressful, uncertain time for them, so making sure they still feel safe and at home is always my top priority. I keep their routine as normal as possible — same feeding times, same walks, same spaces — so the change feels as small as possible for them. If we're at my place instead, I love watching them explore and get curious about a new environment. Helping them feel comfortable and at ease is always the most important thing to me, whether that's in their home or mine.
About: I have my doctorate in clinical psychology and love animals. I am not allowed to have my own pet so I love to pet sit! I am currently transitioning from internship to post doc and have a lot of time on my hands. Flexible in scheduling and happy to help when needed! Single family home, small enclosed yard, great neighborhood. Work 3miles min home M-F 8-4, home weekends. Friday late afternoon drop off/late Sunday pickup. Walks, hikes, trips to Berkeley Marina, feeding, play, medications and lots of cuddling. Enclosed yard, single story single family home, no kids, non-smoking house, furniture and carpets all dog friendly, nice residential area in Berkeley. Access to outdoors all day.

About: I’ve taken care of family’s and friends’ pets anywhere from puppies to older dogs, and also larger dogs like huskies. I respect every household’s rules for caring for their pets, and ensure the pets are safe, healthy, and happy! Currently at home full-time, so very flexible and open to caring for your pets when you need a break or have travel / social engagements! I can keep a crate in my home and live right on Lake Merritt with a large grass pasture just across the street by the lake where I would take dogs to. Walking around the lake/grass is a fan favorite!

Hong was amazing with Bailey Rose! Bailey Rose takes time to warm up to a sitter but she did it very quickly and never seemed to stress at all with Hong. Hong provided frequent updates so we could rest knowing she was being taken such good care of. Hong left the home in the same or better condition than we left. Highly recommend her and will hire her again!
Manuel was wonderful with Hampton again, and this stay was especially meaningful to us. The day before we were scheduled to leave, Hampton experienced some symptoms related to his condition, which understandably made us nervous about traveling. Manuel was incredibly thoughtful and caring throughout it all and never hesitated about continuing with the stay. Hampton is getting older and is on several medications, so he sometimes needs more frequent potty breaks and extra patience when taking his meds. Manuel was more than happy to adjust to his needs and was incredibly patient with him. We also really appreciated the regular updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy Hampton and a spotless home. We’re very grateful for the care Manuel gives him and would absolutely trust him with Hampton again.
Sarah was amazing with Maxi. It was the first time we left him with a dog sitter, and we didn't know exactly how to proceed. Sarah invited us to a meet and greed a couple of days before. Yesterday, Maxi was thrilled to go to her home and jump out of the car and run to meet her. During the afternoon, Sarah sent me pictures to show me how happy Maxi was. When I picked him up, everything was smooth. Thank you, Sarah!
June was amazing with our dog and cat while we were away for a week. She left our house really tidy and Reed clearly bonded with her because he started sleeping by the bed in our spare room where she stayed over. He got some hikes and seems really happy. Would definitely rebook!

Jesika and Jhyikeen did a great job taking care of my high energy dogs during a brutally hot weekend. They provided updates and photos throughout their stay with my dogs.
