But also I make it really fun. Here's what makes me a little different: I follow the dog's lead. Some pups want a big adventure. Others want a slow sniff-everything kind of walk (honestly iconic). On our walks, they pick the route. I'm just happy to be invited. I also put together little enrichment activities because a stimulated dog is a happy dog, and yes, I talk to them like they understand everything I'm saying, because they do. I'm a big dog park person too, but I'm picky about it in the best way. I stick to parks where I already know the people and the dogs, so I know exactly what kind of environment your pup is walking into. No surprises, just good socialization with faces I trust. When your dog stays with me, they get a whole day tailored to their vibe: cozy, active, or somewhere in between. And you? Typically, when pet-sitting for friends, I will feed, walk, or change out litter boxes as often as needed. If I am not staying at the owner's home full-time, I will make sure the animal gets sufficient interaction and love daily. If an animal is staying in my home during the day, I have a fenced-in, locked yard (though I generally wouldn't have an animal outside without me) and there is also a dog-friendly park less than two blocks from my home.

About: *I only board dogs from one home at a time* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!
