About: **Available after 3pm on M,Tu,W,Th, Anytime on F,Sat,Sun** I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and have always loved being around animals. Growing up, I regularly helped care for my family’s dogs whenever they needed support, which gave me plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. I’m also a cat parent to my two kitties, Michi and Kiki, whom I’ve raised since they were just 8 weeks old. They’ll soon be two years old! Caring for them has given me daily experience with cat care, routines, playtime, and creating a calm, comfortable environment for pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. I am currently a master’s student at UC Berkeley. Most days of the week, I end classes at 1pm, so I will be available after that, Sundays and Saturdays the whole day! I have a large apartment for your pup to play in! I also have an outside space for your pup to play in with supervision. Your pet will be my priority during our time together, and rest assured that they will be treated with the utmost respect, love, and kindness!

“Taylor is an absolute godsend! As well as her husband Kevin. She takes care of Kahlo weekly when I go to work and I am able to relax knowing Kahlo is in the best hands. I went on my first trip recently and Kahlo stayed with Taylor and Kevin for several days. Being a new dog mom, meant I had overwhelming anxiety leaving on my first trip and was so worried about leaving my dog convinced she would have serious separation anxiety. Well, I was totally wrong. LOL. I am honestly not sure that Kahlo wanted to leave. She had the best time and enjoyed all the attention she was spoiled with during her stay. Taylor was so sweet and sent me so many updates and pictures throughout her stay. She even printed a keepsake of pictures from her stay that I now have in my home. I was able to relax and enjoy my time away. It has been a true blessing finding Taylor. She is kind, communicative, and treats your dog as her own. Thank you Taylor and Kevin for being so awesome ❤️! About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. Growing up, my mother operated a small pet rescue and animal shelter organization in Asia, and from a very young age I helped care for rescued dogs, cats, and abandoned animals alongside her. Over the years, we helped rescue and rehome thousands of animals, many of whom came from difficult or traumatic situations. caring for animals feels completely natural to me. I do not see pets as “just animals.” I genuinely believe they are family members who deserve love, patience, emotional safety, and respect. In many ways, I believe animals carry one of the purest forms of unconditional love, and sometimes they deserve even more kindness and gentleness than humans receive. I have experience caring for pets with very different personalities, medical conditions, and emotional needs, including senior pets, rescue animals, anxious dogs, and cats requiring medication and special routines. About: *I only board dogs from one home at a time* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!

About: I've been taking care of cats since I was a child and I have been dog sitting family dogs since I was a teenager. Some of my priorities are making sure all furry friends are comfortable while they are away from family and learning their habits so that I can best support their needs. Being in the company of animals brings me great joy so I try to make their time with me as engaging and serene as possible. :) I'm a full time student with flexible schedule as I only attend lectures and can study from most places. Every day looks different for me but I tend to have free mornings and a big block of free time for lunch! I make sure their living space is safe and check their mood to see what steps to take to make sure they can rest comfortably every night. Some examples of safety for me include checking that no food that's toxic is left out, induction stoves locked, windows closed and emergency grooming done (like nail clipping if its uncomfortable for them, or brushing matted fur if its starting to show up, all done if the pet is used to it of course). I keep in mind their energy levels, bowel movements and make sure to communicate any significant change of behavior to pet parents :)

Ruthy did a fantastic job with Nova! She was extremely communicative all day. She was right on time to pick her up and drop her off and sent so many cute photos and videos of their day together. I have had poor experiences with leaving Nova in someone else's care in the past, so I was a little apprehensive, but Ruthy's updates put me so at ease. I know my little girl was in great, caring hands. I can't recommend her enough!
Hong was AMAZING with my dog! I could not have asked for a better daycare experience. Hong sent updates all day long, so I always knew exactly what my dog was up to — plus she took amazing photos! She followed my dog’s schedule closely and made sure she was playing and active throughout the day. My dog can be nervous around men, but Hong’s husband was so patient and loving with her — he took the time to get to know her, and by the end of the day she was curled up cuddling with him. Honestly, I think my dog would rather live with them at this point! They communicated through a translator app and were incredibly responsive and easy to coordinate with. Can’t recommend Hong enough. We’ll absolutely be booking again.
Thomas watched our dog while we attended a party, and he was fantastic. He was accommodating, patient, and, most importantly, my dog really liked him. He kept me updated by sharing photos, which gave me peace of mind throughout the evening. I would absolutely book with Thomas again the next time we are in town, if he's available. I highly recommend him!
Kristen did an amazing job with Chummy who is naturally fearful of new people! She was patient and over the course of the day Chummy slowly warmed up to her. I was also worried Chummy might have accidents in the house due to anxiety and being in a new environment. However, Kristen naturally took her out every 2 hours which gave her plenty of potty breaks to avoid any incidents. I also appreciated the updates and pictures Kristen sent throughout the course of the day
Emily and her family are the perfect hosts. They have a lovely home, and are most welcoming. They and their dog Kibley (sp?) were so generous to Scout, who is a bit needy and likes the company of people and petting. I felt very comfortable leaving her for the day, and although she was happy to see me when I picked her up, she wasn't anxious and overly ready to leave. They took her for two walks and sent me a few pictures during the day, affirming that Scout was happy. There are no red flags here, and I didn't hesitate leaving Scout in their hands. I'll be back.
Chen Z. was amazing with my dog. He’s very easy to communicate with, very accommodating to different schedules, takes lots of beautiful pictures and videos, and sends frequent updates. Most importantly my dog was always so excited to see him. Would 100% recommend and book again.
I felt a little unsure of dropping my dog off to someone I didn't know but started to feel more comfortable the more I spoke with Hye. Then Rudy, my pup, and I met Hye in person and we both were put very much at ease. Hye and Rudy hit it off immediately and I was fine leaving him with her. Hye updated us with photos and really "loved" Rudy and my wife and I were able to relax and enjoy our evening. I would totally recommend Hye and her husband for the care of their family member.
Alejandra was amazing! We did a meet and greet beforehand that lasted about an hour, and she immediately made me feel comfortable. Poe is a total Velcro dog, so I was honestly really anxious about leaving him while I traveled for work. Knowing he would be with someone who works from home and had a rooftop dog park gave me so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond with updates and photos throughout the day, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about making sure Poe was happy and comfortable. Every time I picked him up, he was relaxed and happy. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to leave Poe with Alejandra again!
Chrystal was very receptive and understanding of the needs for my old husky girl. Actually, she confirmed that my dog was very sweet with people, mainly herself and her family. Crystal was able to work and stay with my dog as I mentioned was desirable as my dog has had separation issues. It looks like my dog was taken very good care of and I appreciate it.
