About: I have been the sister to a beautiful little rescue Pom mix named CJ since early childhood. Although he has passed, he and I have gone on so many adventures around the East Bay together; stonewall, point Isabel, Tilden, etc. and has deepened the love I have for animals. His presence in my life taught me how to be responsible for, respect, and care for animals. I also volunteered at Jelly’s place where I mainly cleaned dog kennels and played with dogs which helped gained an even more appreciation for holistic dog care plus a deep connection with pooches. About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.
“I'm so happy to have found Jeanette and her family. My dog is rambunctious to say the least, and at 70lbs, he can be quite a lot to handle. I wanted to do a trial run with Jeanette before booking her for my 2+ week trip coming up. This was mainly to make sure they could see what they were getting into! And to my sheer embarrassment, I showed up with my dog on the wrong day... but they were so sweet and understanding and let him stay for the day. When he stayed the night, he marked some spots in their house (like her bed ughhhhh) but they handled it by putting a belly wrap on him. It was a wonderful feeling to pick up Buddy as I could tell he was well taken care of and had lots of fun with his friends, and Jeanette let me know how it went in detail. She was honest about everything, which I really appreciated because I know my dog is wild and challenging, I rescued him off the street and while we've come a long way since then, he still has a lot to learn. So I wouldn't trust anyone who said "oh everything was just perfect, no issues whatsoever" lol. They are very good people, and I know Buddy will be in good hands on my long trip. It's my first time leaving him for this long, but I know that they will update me and reassure me that he's doing OK. I highly recommend them.”
“Jake is the best dog sitter we've ever had! My dog is really anxious when it comes to leaving my side and has special needs (tons of allergies, reactive with humans, separation anxiety) but with Jake, he becomes a completely different dog!! Dashi always RUSHES and ZOOMS straight to Jake's home since he's SOOOOO excited to be back!! Dashi gets along so well with Jake and seems to really trust him. Jake always sends pictures which let us know that Dashi's not only safe, but is having a blast making new friends and being cared for. I HIGHLY recommend Jake and his home to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Super professional, very responsive, and overall AMAZING sitter.”
