About: ***IMMEDIATE JACK LONDON SQ ONLY FOR WALKS/DROP-INS PLEASE *** Trust is everything, especially when it comes to caring for our pups! I believe ALL dogs are stars with their own unique "genre" (Punk, EDM, R&B, Rock, Pop, easy listening) and let's face it, this is how they crack us up on a daily basis! I believe positive reinforcement, but also Cesar's Way (exercise, discipline, affection) and include lots of playfulness in the process (solo or with my pup - your preference). I enjoy assisting in ongoing training (how to improve walking on a leash, how to look good for their "Dogs playing poker" portrait, etc) while in my care. Whether it be for a brief stay or a brisk walk (A tired dog is a happy dog!) I can't wait to meet your fluffy family member and help ease your mind while you are away from them. I have worked with dogs that may be fearful or have anxiety (many often confuse with being "aggressive" when this is not the case). Being attentive on our walks at all times is paramount...I'm not one who focuses on looking at my phone constantly (unless I'm taking pics of our walk to send to you!) while letting your pup pick up or eat something they shouldn't. Many thanks! I currently work from home and have flexibility to work with local dogs for walks/drop-ins in the Jack London Square area and boarding (near or far). I have a large fenced patio and is easy to monitor the fur monsters if they want to enjoy the outdoors a bit during their day.
About: I grew up with a golden retriever that I begged my parents for. The deal was that I needed to read 3 books on dog training and behavior, which I knocked out promptly within a few week! I was the primary caretaker of Mikey, from being a puppy, to middle aged with some health problems, and into his senior years. Following Mikey crossing the rainbow, I adopted a kitten, Phoebe, who is now 6 years old. I recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Neurobiology! Iâm in the process for applying for roles in my field and grad school so my schedule is quite flexible at the moment. I keep a close eye on my own pets, and will do the same with yours! I have a 10 year old golden lab and 8 year old cat. My dog, Adobe, is a retired explosives canine and I take care of his grooming, diet, dental, and exercise needs daily. The same applies to my cat, Phoebe! Ultimately, I hope that your pets as well as my own go on to live a happy, healthy, and long life, and so letâs work together to accomplish that!
About: Growing up in a family that always had dogs, Iâve spent over seven years caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I raised my own corgi from puppyhood, which gave me a solid foundation in training, grooming, and understanding canine behavior. Over time, Iâve also cared for senior dogs who required medication, gentle exercise, and extra patience, as well as energetic puppies who needed structured play and consistent guidance. Clients often describe me as reliable, communicative, and attentive to every petâs comfort. I regularly provide updates with photos and videos to help owners feel connected while theyâre away. Iâm also experienced with multi-pet households, including both dogs and cats, and I take pride in maintaining a calm and caring environment for all animals under my care. As a remote work with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.
âEsteban is awesome! He takes good care of Sunny, my terrier puppy. And sends me lots of detailed updates and wonderful photos. Sunny seems very relaxed and happy after walks/hangs with Esteban. Thank you so very much for all that you do!â

âJay is the best with my two pups! super accommodating with my odd schedule, communicative and gets the best photos of them having a good time. Having jay has been a life saver for when I have to be in the office!â

About: With over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience, Iâve spent my life caring for dogs and cats. Having grown up with two dogs and many cats, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and at home. I work hybrid and am in the office two days a week. Iâm home on remote days and available for attentive care, with full availability on weekends. I follow all care instructions, respect your home, and ensure doors and gates are securely locked after each visit. Updates and photos are always provided for peace of mind.
âMaia was great! Very friendly and you can tell she loves animals. She went out of her way to make sure my often anxious dog felt comfortable around her. Recommend.â

About: Iâve been a dog owner for over 8 years, and caring for pups has always been a natural part of my life. My current dog, Sage, is a sweet and energetic 2-year-old who is fully crate-trained and comfortable going in and out of her crate as neededâso Iâm familiar with maintaining structure while still keeping things stress-free and flexible for your dog. Iâm patient, attentive, and truly enjoy getting to know each dogâs personality. Whether your pup needs a calm environment, extra playtime, or a little help sticking to their routine, Iâm happy to accommodate. I can follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications, reinforce crate training, and provide plenty of walks, cuddles, and photos so you always feel connected. Your dogâs safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every pet like family, and I want you to feel confident that your pup is in loving, reliable hands while youâre away. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I do work full-time, but Iâm off one weekday and one weekend day each week. Because my schedule rotates, the best way to know my exact availability is to send me a quick messageâIâm always happy to check and see if Iâm a good fit for your needs. Iâm open to booking sits any day of the week, and Iâm especially available for walks, drop-ins, or longer stays on my days off. If your pup needs consistency, structure, or flexible timing, Iâll do my best to accommodate. Just reach out and weâll find what works! Your dogâs safety and comfort always come first. I have a separate crate available so your pup can have their own space, and I walk dogs individually to ensure everyone feels calm and secure. Thereâs a dog park right across the street, and if your dog is friendly and youâre comfortable with it, we can enjoy some supervised playtime there. If you prefer limited interaction or your dog does better with space, Iâm also happy to keep them separate and stick to quiet walks around the building where thereâs little to no contact with other dogs. Whatever your pupâs needs or personality, Iâm committed to providing a safe, controlled, and positive environment.

About: Iâve take care of dogs of family and friends of various sizes, breeds, and ages. I am able to play with and walk them regularly. I work a hybrid 9-5 job and am usually available on the weekends for pet care. Mid-week arrangements may be accepted if discussed in advance so I can schedule my âwork from homeâ days to accommodate. I live in condo complex that has a closed off large courtyard. My home has animal friendly plants, and unfriendly plants kept out of reach.

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life, from chickens to cats, and dogs. More recently, I have had experience caring for geriatric pups who need extra care and attention. I work from home and am available to walk and play with your pet as much or as little as needed. I am committed to making sure your fur baby is content while you're away. I have a large apartment for pets to stretch and move around and my complex has access to the Oakland waterfront, where I would walk your pup as many times as they need!
âAnanda was amazing - she was really helpful coordinating dates/times, she stopped by early to meet my dog, and she was lovely about keeping me updated with everything! I think sheâd be a great sitter or walker that Iâd recommend to anyoneâ

âChristine is detail-oriented and incredibly caring in her approach! She was communicative throughout, asked good questions as needed, and took extra care to ensure my dog Ellie trusted her and had a good time. An excellent helping hand!â

âAriana was such a joy to work with. She was very sweet with our puppy, extremely courteous (wiped our dogs paws to prevent him from tracking mud in without us asking her), and responsible. Unfortunately, we only were able to work with her for a short while, but wouldâve loved to have her long term. You wonât regret using her!â

âCathy has been walking our anxious little rescue dog for over a year plus house/pet sitting as weâve needed her. We are always so happy to know we have such a caring person with our pets! She provides such peace of mind. Couldnât recommend more highly.â

About: I have been the primary caregiver for my personal dog for about 14 years, navigating every stage of her life from puppyhood to her current age of 14, even though she still has her puppy energy. This experience has made me highly vigilant about senior care. I am comfortable with mobility support, medication management, as well as senior intuition. I know how to read the subtle signs of an aging dogâs comfort and energy levels. Last year, I adopted a two-year-old pocket bully, which has deepened my expertise in handling strong, energetic breeds. I understand that breeds like bullies are often misunderstood as they just need a structured, positive leadership. I offer confident walking for dogs that pull or need extra focus in urban areas, keeping high-energy dogs engaged with praise and clear boundaries. I always prioritize your dogâs space and safety during walks to ensure a stress-free experience. I currently enjoy a very flexible homebase lifestyle, which allows me to make your pet my primary focus throughout the day because I donât have a traditional 9-5 commute. I can offer reliable midday visits. I am available for those crucial 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. walk slots when most owners are stuck at work for daycare and onboarding. I can easily accommodate your specific commute times; your pet wonât be left alone for long stretches. I am here to provide companionship, frequent potty breaks, and immediate attention. My schedule often allows me to help out with short-notice bookings when your plans change unexpectedly. whether I am hosting your pet at my home or visiting yours, safety is my absolute priority. My experience managing a 14 year-old senior. Any two-year-old pocket. Bully has taught me that every dog requires a unique safety protocol. In My Home (Daycare & Boarding) ⢠I have a 100% supervision policy. Pets are never left unattended with my own dogs. I use baby gates and exercise pens to create a safe zone for meal time and rest resting. ⢠my home is optimized for older dogs with nonslip surfaces and quiet areas for napping ⢠I am extremely careful with the reason and always ensure harness or leashes are securely fitted before any door is opened In Your Home(Sitting, walking, & drop ins) ⢠I treat your home with the utmost respect I double check that all doors and gates are locked up upon arrival and departure ⢠I am hyper aware of my surroundings. Iâm maintaining a firm grip on the leash. Avoid nose to nose, greetings with unknown dogs and advocate for your dog personal space. ⢠I always check water bowls and monitor for any changes in behavior or bathroom habits, especially for senior clients I believe in over communication you will receive regular photo updates in a summary of our activities if your pet has a specific medical or behavioral regimen I follow it to the letter to ensure their routine remains consistent while you are away

Laura is awesome! She pays close attention to our reactive pup's cues and works to stay within her comfort zone to have a successful walk. Laura also has super communication, sending detailed updates and walk reports. We're so grateful for her reliable care!

Talissa is a great dog walker! Walking my Koa for the past month or so for a couple of days a week and Koa loves going on walks with her. I couldnât have asked for a better person so caring and timely. Communication is absolutely amazing and I love the daily updates. Definitely recommended!

Esteban is the best! I was very afraid I would not find anyone to walk Piper as she is strong and slightly dog selective. Also certain dog folks do not want to walk her with a muzzle which is confusing to me, he has no issues with it. Esteban came for a meet and greet and it was a great fit! Piper has come home happy and exhausted! Canât wait to grow our relationship with him! Heâs the best!

My favorite walker. Has come through for us time and time again. Even after long hiatuses of using Rover, weâve been able to reach out to Jesse and get a timely response. And even if not available when we ask last second sometimes, he is responsible/reliable and we are usually able to work out future dates. Highly recommend.
