About: Hello there, my name is Emma and I am a Bay Area native. I moved back to the Bay in 2024 after I started organic, regenerative, diversified livestock farming in 2020. I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge in animal husbandry and land stewardship, all while falling in love with the animals. I focused mostly on the dairy cows, where I became the assistant dairy manager. There were, of course, farm dogs and cats, and I was the main puppy care person (feeding both mama and puppies, taking mama on walks, ensuring safe birth care, etc.). Now that I am back in the area, I want to continue being around animals and am eager to care for your furry creatures! I am currently working part-time, roughly three days a week, typically Wed-Fri, for a maximum of six hours per day, so I have ample time to be with and take care of your pet(s). I am not a loud person, so I won't frighten animals. I enjoy both relaxing and spending time with animals and going out into the world on walks to play and exercise. I have a set sleep and wake schedule, and an adaptable one at that, so your animals won't get thrown off theirs. I am happy to stay with your pet(s) at your house so ensure their maximum comfort while their person/people is away!

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life! I’ve always had a pet and they’ve ranged from chickens to spiders. About: We promise your pup will have a great time with us- a daily run, evening stroll, plus unlimited attention from our seven year old daughter! We also have a four-year-old lab mix (Boston) who is great with other dogs and will be happy to have a playmate. We work from home and walk our dog regularly. we'd be happy to take your dog along too. Plus, there are great parks nearby, and I head up to the Oakland hills several days a week. Our home is ideal for dogs, as we have a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run around. Inside, the dogs are welcome to cuddle up on the couch with us and generally be underfoot no matter what we're up to. During weekends, it is common for us to go on longer hikes and take the dogs. On weekdays, we work from home, which means the dogs can hang out where they please, and get plenty of walks throughout the day. We work from home, and our dog wants a playmate! We will let the dogs out to the fenced backyard whenever they like, and always take numerous trips around the block to stretch the legs out. Given that we wake up early to run and start working from home, we prefer drop offs and pickups to be generally between 8:00am and 6:00pm. We have a fenced yard and Boston is a great playmate. Typically the dogs like to be underfoot for most of the day, which is fine as we are working away on our computers. I like to do at least one longer walk/run during the day, or a hike in the Oakland Hills in the afternoon.

I am home every day and can pay attention to your pet for as long as you need. And also need to earn some extra cash to help with everyday living. I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter. I don't leave any pets unattended when let outside. I usually will hang out in the backyard with them.
