About: Hello there, my name is Emma and I am a Bay Area native. I moved back to the Bay in 2024 after I started organic, regenerative, diversified livestock farming in 2020. I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge in animal husbandry and land stewardship, all while falling in love with the animals. I focused mostly on the dairy cows, where I became the assistant dairy manager. There were, of course, farm dogs and cats, and I was the main puppy care person (feeding both mama and puppies, taking mama on walks, ensuring safe birth care, etc.). Now that I am back in the area, I want to continue being around animals and am eager to care for your furry creatures! I am currently working part-time, roughly three days a week, typically Wed-Fri, for a maximum of six hours per day, so I have ample time to be with and take care of your pet(s). I am not a loud person, so I won't frighten animals. I enjoy both relaxing and spending time with animals and going out into the world on walks to play and exercise. About: Been the primary source of training and exercise for my family’s dogs since I was 13. With training large breed dogs, specifically Rottweilers and various rescues. I have a lot of experience with larger willful breeds, but also have had a few years of smaller fluffier breeds like French poodles. I am currently the primary caregiver of my son and so taking him and Sierra for walks and play dates is ver much part of my day. I have a fenced in yard for my 3 year old Rottweiler but take longer walks along Lake Chabot on the regular. She is an inside dog and has been trained to be very friendly as I have two elderly cats who are decidedly not friendly towards her. That said when we are not home I have seen the cats snuggle the dog via the doggy cam!

About: I am very attentive to the needs of your pets, especially if they are older and slower, but I also enjoy energetic puppies and pets that need some training and just need some positive re-enforcement. I am available to House sit - although I don't know how to reflect that on the website. I actively practice positive reinforcement obedience training. My schedule is open now in general but I may do a retreat every so often. I nearby in the Bay Area, my schedule is more flexible. I prefer to care for pets in their own homes, since I live in a small place. I am attentive to the needs of the pet and if I see that the pet needs exercise, I make sure they get sufficient exercise through their regular routines.
