Animals are people, too!
I've grown up with dogs, mostly "belonging" to my twin, where I myself had bunnies. My twin is now a Zookeeper and has helped me and my family to grow in our awareness of animal behaviors and care. Already believing animals of earth are no less important than humans, I am grateful to learn more about varying personalities of the companions you have! It is important to give them attention where they need it and respect their feelings on things. Making friends with other creatures and learning new "enrichments" are my goals. What do they like? What do they think? How can I make their lives happier?

Safety, trust & environment
I have an old man bunny, left from 3. They all were free-roam and wonderful. Old age is sad to care for sometimes, but still so worth it! As for client's homes - I'll always check perimeters and make sure their safety is on alert in my mind. I'm prepared to be their comfort while their people are away!

Quartney is fantastic- she is reliable, communicates well and can handle my large sometimes reactive dog. Most of all, my dog loves her!
Quartney has been an animal lover all her life, growing up with multiple dogs, and also raising her own rabbits for years. She has also worked with a bird rescue, to clean and feed the ailing wildlife. She is responsible and caring with animals, always checking to be sure they have the proper foods and care. (It helps that she has 2 zoo keepers and dog parents to contact for advice!) You couldn't find a more gentle, caring pet sitter than Quartney.
Quartney has tons of animal experience having volunteered at a rehab for wildlife rescues as well as cared for many pets growing up, and previous pet sitting. She follows directions so that pets get the same level of care that they are used to, and spends quality time with pets who need the attention. She is trustworthy and wonderful.
Quartney takes excellent care of animals! She listens clearly to instructions based on the individual needs of the animals, and makes sure the animal feels safe, secure, comfortable, and loved. I definitely trust her with the care of my dogs, even with their detailed geriatric care requirements. :)

Schedule
I'm currently working part time, flexible weekends. I would adore using any times around that to work with pets and other animals. I am happy to use all my past animal experience and sage animal advice from my twin (zookeeper) to treat your pets splendidly while you're away!
