“Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”

Sunday is a sweet girl but can be high energy, anxious and a little mischievous. Megan and Jenny handled Sunday like absolute pros. Sunday was entertained with walks and lots of play time in their sweet house/yard. Jenny + Megan are responsible, reliant, and absolutely in love with their dog friends, not to mention flexible and easy-going—they treated Sunday like their own and I feel so thankful to have found such loving people to look after my girl. About: Hello there, my name is Emma and I am a Bay Area native. I moved back to the Bay in 2024 after I started organic, regenerative, diversified livestock farming in 2020. I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge in animal husbandry and land stewardship, all while falling in love with the animals. About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. My care includes feeding, walking, playtime, administering medications when needed, and making sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I treat every dog as if they were my own, focusing on their unique routines and personalities. I’m a college student so I have a lot of free times in my hands. There isn’t anything else I’d rather do than to spend time with your doggies If pets are in my home, I provide a safe and welcoming environment with plenty of supervision, cozy spaces for rest, and opportunities for play and exercise. I always use secure leashes and watch closely on walks to keep pets safe. My goal is to give each pet the right balance of structure, affection, and fun so they feel loved and well cared for.
About: I’ve loved animals my entire life! I’ve always had a pet and they’ve ranged from chickens to spiders. I started pet sitting when I was 16 and am currently working at a dog daycare/boarding place and am a dog handler that will love and care for your pups no matter age or size! :))<3 Apart from being a student (on break) I’m also working part-time at a dog daycare on the weekends so during the week I’m usually free! We also frequently looked after our brother’s French Bulldog, who happily reunited with our Shih Tzu, and a Siberian Husky, along with other family dogs. Before your drop-off, we'd love to arrange a meet and greet to acquaint ourselves with you and your furry companions! This is not our first time on Rover. We have been dog-sitting on Rover for about 3 years. The first two years were under a different account with our mom because of age. So we did it together with our parents and were very happy with both animal and human clientele who were just as happy with our services. For crate-trained dogs, we recommend bringing their crate to ensure their comfort. Additionally, please bring any items that will help your dog feel at ease and secure during their stay. If your dog requires medication, be sure to bring it along. While we do offer some dog treats, feel free to bring your pup's favorites to ensure they feel right at home. About: Thank you for considering me to be your dog’s home away from home! I have over 8 years of experience caring for my childhood dogs, along with caring for dogs outside of Rover. I have experience with taking care of dogs as young as 2 months old and as old as 16 years old. With my experience I understand that all dogs are different and need special care and attention. Being away from your dog, and your dog being away from you can bring a lot of anxiety for the dogs as well the owner; but I am more than happy to help ease the anxiety and make sure your dog is loved and care for and receiving all the attention they need while you are away. Although I don’t have a yard, I am walking minutes away from the beach, and parks nearby. I work from home Monday-Friday which will allow me to keep a close eye on your beloved fur baby; and will also allow more flexibility for drop off and pick up. I am currently working full time remotely which allows me more flexibility with accommodations. Please send me a message for any scheduling accommodations you may need. I am able to provide your fur baby at least 3 walks/day (Morning, noon, evening). Depending on your preference, I can send an update once or twice (morning and evening) a day. I have experience working with senior dogs therefore I am familiar with administering medication if your dog has any medications they are taking.

“Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”
“Sunday has been through a lot of difficult changes recently—a move, the loss of her doggy best friend and just normal growing up. Sunday is a sweet girl but can be high energy, anxious and a little mischievous. Megan and Jenny handled Sunday like absolute pros. Sunday was entertained with walks and lots of play time in their sweet house/yard. Jenny + Megan are responsible, reliant, and absolutely in love with their dog friends, not to mention flexible and easy-going—they treated Sunday like their own and I feel so thankful to have found such loving people to look after my girl. From the very first interaction they have been so responsive and accommodating! I hope to rebook them again soon, just so Sunday can get her fix!”

This was the longest I have ever boarded her so was worried about her. Golda sent daily updates & photos which calmed me down quite a bit! And, of course, it rained heavily on 3 of the days with Golda; but she still managed to exercise Ginger in the rain. Would be very comfortable having Ginger with Golda again!”
