During the intake she walked me through where Nelo would be playing and staying. She asked all the right questions to ensure she understood any needs he may have. About: I have only pet-sat for friends doggos and cats in the past. Now that we are in a bigger place with a small yard, I’d love to work with you and your dogs. I have had several Ridgebacks and Dobermans, a greyhound, and a viasla in my life and now love my two small ones - a rat terrier mix and a Pinchiweenie. I work from home and my desk is downstairs right by the back door so the door is open all day for my pets to go out as they please. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for nice walkies around my neighborhood which has lots of grassy areas. I feed my girls a combination of kibble and homemade dog food, so “special meals” are not an issue for me.

I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge in animal husbandry and land stewardship, all while falling in love with the animals. There were, of course, farm dogs and cats, and I was the main puppy care person (feeding both mama and puppies, taking mama on walks, ensuring safe birth care, etc.). I lived with a Malinois during its puppy years and really enjoyed training with her. About: As avid dog lovers with over 15 years of experience, we've cared for various breeds, including our own Shih Tzu who sadly passed away last year. We also frequently looked after our brother’s French Bulldog, who happily reunited with our Shih Tzu, and a Siberian Husky, along with other family dogs. If your dog requires medication, be sure to bring it along. While we do offer some dog treats, feel free to bring your pup's favorites to ensure they feel right at home. About: I have over 6 years of experience as a cat & dog owner. Raised my own dog from a puppy (she’s now a happy 3-year-old Corgi!) and cared for two cats for several years also. I’m well versed in everything from high energy puppy play to the quiet, patient approach many cats prefer. I graduated with my BS in animal science and now work from home full time. I have owned pets my entire life and seen many of my pets from birth through their life cycle. I love interacting with pets of all sizes, and ages! I am extremely patient and do not at all mind the demanding nature of younger puppies. “I just started fostering a dog, and I’m so scared to leave him with anyone. My dog just went through major hip surgery, and is on a strict medication schedule along with PT range of motion exercises and a strict bed rest. Beatryx took the time to meet me and ask exactly what I wanted during Pepe’s boarding. They asked all the right questions and assured me that Pepe would be in great care. The day when I had to leave Pepe, I ran into some complications at work and had to reschedule the drop off time. Beatryx was so understanding and flexible about everything. They sent me pictures every hour because they knew how anxious I was. Pepe was so happy that when we went to leave he had to go back and give Beatryx extra kisses.
