About: I have only pet-sat for friends doggos and cats in the past. Now that we are in a bigger place with a small yard, I’d love to work with you and your dogs. I will follow your directions and love your doggo right. I have had several Ridgebacks and Dobermans, a greyhound, and a viasla in my life and now love my two small ones - a rat terrier mix and a Pinchiweenie. I work from home and my desk is downstairs right by the back door so the door is open all day for my pets to go out as they please. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for nice walkies around my neighborhood which has lots of grassy areas. I have time throughout the day for walks if needed and I make a point to have playtime with balls or toys throughout the day. We live just a few minutes from Oakland Airport in an 2 story townhome with a small (20 ft x 20ft), fully enclosed yard with areas for potties. It has great morning and early afternoon sun and I always have beds outside for sunning. The door is open for them to goes out as they want. We allow our pets in the couch and I office downstairs to keep an eye on the doggos. I have several water bowls around for hydration. I feed my girls a combination of kibble and homemade dog food, so “special meals” are not an issue for me.

About: Hello there, my name is Emma and I am a Bay Area native. I moved back to the Bay in 2024 after I started organic, regenerative, diversified livestock farming in 2020. I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge in animal husbandry and land stewardship, all while falling in love with the animals. I focused mostly on the dairy cows, where I became the assistant dairy manager. There were, of course, farm dogs and cats, and I was the main puppy care person (feeding both mama and puppies, taking mama on walks, ensuring safe birth care, etc.). Now that I am back in the area, I want to continue being around animals and am eager to care for your furry creatures! I am currently working part-time, roughly three days a week, typically Wed-Fri, for a maximum of six hours per day, so I have ample time to be with and take care of your pet(s). I have a set sleep and wake schedule, and an adaptable one at that, so your animals won't get thrown off theirs. About: As avid dog lovers with over 15 years of experience, we've cared for various breeds, including our own Shih Tzu who sadly passed away last year. We also frequently looked after our brother’s French Bulldog, who happily reunited with our Shih Tzu, and a Siberian Husky, along with other family dogs. Living in a pet-friendly community with ample grassy areas, your pups will have plenty of space to roam and play. Before your drop-off, we'd love to arrange a meet and greet to acquaint ourselves with you and your furry companions! This is not our first time on Rover. We have been dog-sitting on Rover for about 3 years. The first two years were under a different account with our mom because of age. So we did it together with our parents and were very happy with both animal and human clientele who were just as happy with our services. We offer a fenced backyard patio and expansive grassy areas within our community, and we're happy to provide photos of the surroundings upon request prior to booking. Alternatively, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can explore our dog-friendly and secure neighborhood firsthand. Our area boasts ample walking spaces and provides poop bags for your convenience. For crate-trained dogs, we recommend bringing their crate to ensure their comfort. Additionally, please bring any items that will help your dog feel at ease and secure during their stay. If your dog requires medication, be sure to bring it along. While we do offer some dog treats, feel free to bring your pup's favorites to ensure they feel right at home. Your pets' comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we strive to make their stay as enjoyable as possible!
About: We promise your pup will have a great time with us- a daily run, evening stroll, plus unlimited attention from our seven year old daughter! We also have a four-year-old lab mix (Boston) who is great with other dogs and will be happy to have a playmate. We work from home and walk our dog regularly. we'd be happy to take your dog along too. Plus, there are great parks nearby, and I head up to the Oakland hills several days a week. Our home is ideal for dogs, as we have a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run around. Inside, the dogs are welcome to cuddle up on the couch with us and generally be underfoot no matter what we're up to. During weekends, it is common for us to go on longer hikes and take the dogs. On weekdays, we work from home, which means the dogs can hang out where they please, and get plenty of walks throughout the day. We work from home, and our dog wants a playmate! We will let the dogs out to the fenced backyard whenever they like, and always take numerous trips around the block to stretch the legs out. Given that we wake up early to run and start working from home, we prefer drop offs and pickups to be generally between 8:00am and 6:00pm. We have a fenced yard and Boston is a great playmate. Typically the dogs like to be underfoot for most of the day, which is fine as we are working away on our computers. I like to do at least one longer walk/run during the day, or a hike in the Oakland Hills in the afternoon.
About: I am very good at training puppies. And have grown up around all different kinds of animals my whole life, from dogs to horses to turtles to chicken and pigs. I am home every day and can pay attention to your pet for as long as you need. And also need to earn some extra cash to help with everyday living. I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter. So the extra cash really helps out. THANK YOU! My availability is very much open to fit to your schedule, I'm currently not working so I can tend to your pets needs as much as they want. I don't leave any pets unattended when let outside. I usually will hang out in the backyard with them. And I will always make sure that they are comfortable and everything is taken care of anytime before I leave.

About: I have only pet-sat for friends doggos and cats in the past. Now that we are in a bigger place with a small yard, I’d love to work with you and your dogs. I will follow your directions and love your doggo right. I have had several Ridgebacks and Dobermans, a greyhound, and a viasla in my life and now love my two small ones - a rat terrier mix and a Pinchiweenie. I work from home and my desk is downstairs right by the back door so the door is open all day for my pets to go out as they please. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for nice walkies around my neighborhood which has lots of grassy areas. I have time throughout the day for walks if needed and I make a point to have playtime with balls or toys throughout the day. We live just a few minutes from Oakland Airport in an 2 story townhome with a small (20 ft x 20ft), fully enclosed yard with areas for potties. It has great morning and early afternoon sun and I always have beds outside for sunning. The door is open for them to goes out as they want. We allow our pets in the couch and I office downstairs to keep an eye on the doggos. I have several water bowls around for hydration. I feed my girls a combination of kibble and homemade dog food, so “special meals” are not an issue for me.

My dog just went through major hip surgery, and is on a strict medication schedule along with PT range of motion exercises and a strict bed rest. Beatryx took the time to meet me and ask exactly what I wanted during Pepe’s boarding. They asked all the right questions and assured me that Pepe would be in great care. The day when I had to leave Pepe, I ran into some complications at work and had to reschedule the drop off time. Beatryx was so understanding and flexible about everything.
