Focusing on tailor made animal and home care for you and fur families needs.. . . 🐾 D O G W A L K I N G 🐾 ❇️ My walking availability is based on my where i'm located due to my house sitting routines, OFFERING WALKS IN LAKE MERRIT, JACK LONDON, TEMESCAL, ROCKRIDGE, PIEDMONT, TRESTLE GLEN and CROCKER HEIGHTS. ❇️ NOW offering consistent walks with dogs who love getting their steps in! ❇️ also open to semi consistent walks that look like sporadic or flexible weekly or monthly scheduling . . . 🏡 H O U S E S I T T I N G 🏡 ❇️ Generally I adapt my routine to your pets routine, i.e. if they're an early 6:30am riser I will rise with them and tend to their normal AM routine. My focus is maintaining a sense of normalcy as they adjust to you being away, while also providing positive stimulation via experiences that are a mix of things they are familiar with and things that are new, such as secret stair adventures, frolicking on a beach, or dog park hopping! ❇️ for HIGH energy pups I like to get in our miles, on average i get around 5-7, but I do often strive for 10 or more depending on weather and general energy levels from adventures past. The miles are usually broken up into 3 walks and longer adventures are usually on the weekends. ❇️ for (S)LOW energy pups I lean toward leisurely sniffaris while being mindful of the dangers that could be potentially inhaled. ❇️ In between walks I like to squeeze in their favorite at home activities like fetch, tug, belly rubs, find-it with treats, and any other mentally enriching games. Often I like to add my own variation to these activities to keep things new and exciting, for instance I started playing hide and seek with a duo i care for often! ❇️ for PLANT care, this is something I'm very comfortable with. I worked for a few years in NYC at a botanical showroom so I'm familiar with most indoor plants and their care requirements. I also can tend to outdoor watering as well :) ❇️ for HOME care, I aim to leave your home as clean as you left it, if not even more sparkling! I do this by utilizing your cleaning supplies and laundering the bedding before you arrive back, all dishes cleaned, surfaces wiped clean, all rooms vacuumed, trash/recycling taken out. ❇️ for DAILY UPDATES, I usually send one long update before I go to bed. It includes several photos and videos from our walks and time spent together either playing, cuddling or them just being their cute selves. The updates include mileage, behavior/mood/vibes, things we did together, and any other notables such as questionable poops or other surprises I observed. . . . 💥PRICING DISCLAIMER FOR DOGGOS💥 ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ 🤔 IS YOUR DOG LOW NEEDS? Read below • Would you consider your pup friendly to all? Good with commands and even better recall? Can I can take them almost anywhere without cause for concern (i.e. dog parks or trails)? Or is your dog more comfortable and content with very little hands on care? If you answered yes to all or most of these, I would consider your pup low needs. Rates for low needs are as is on my services list. • With low needs dogs, my care focuses on finding outdoor activities and adventures that become core memories. My goal is for them to have experiences they won’t have at a doggy hotel. My passion is the outdoors, and I would love to provide your fur baby with new experiences that they don’t get to participate in all the time, ranging from 10+ mile hikes to local city strolls. I will be mindful of their activity tolerance, and we can discuss their preferences and limitations during our meet and greet. . . . . 🤔 IS YOUR DOG HIGH NEEDS? Read below • I receive a high volume of requests for fur angels that need additional training or caregiver experience. • My rate for high needs dogs is TBD after the meet and greet for housesitting. Same for folks interested in 24 hour care my rate (constant care, no leaving the home or the pets side). Higher rates reflects the additional effort and energy it requires to provide a safe and nurturing environment for dogs who experience: emotional distress from separation, resource protection, intense leash pulling, reactivity toward other animals, dogs that can’t be left alone for more than 5 hours, or need more than 3 long walks a day. • For 24/7 care, I like to be actively involved with tending to their needs. These stays tend to lean toward working on basic behavior corrections, such as leash pulling and barking / reactivity indoors and on walks. • While I am not a professional dog trainer, I am a dedicated animal caretaker and I take each dogs needs seriously. . . . 👋🏽 MEET AND GREETS ARE ARE A REQUIREMENT FOR ALL DOG REQUESTS 🥹 . . . 😀 Great now that we’ve addressed those important details, please take a look below to learn a little more what I have to offer and who I am! . . ✨ A B O U T M E ✨ ⭐️ 10+ years of experience of caring for precious fur babies. Mostly tending to cats and dogs, but I have looked after a rabbits, chickens, and rats. ⭐️ Currently, I have semi flexible schedule and I'm able to do multiple walks a day (2-4 depending on needs), plus weekend hikes somewhere amongst nature or an extra long stroll around town. ⭐️ I recently moved back from NYC to spend time with my mom, who also helps with my animal care taking requests by joining us on pet friendly trails. ⭐️ My care taking approach is intuitive. I like to allow space for your fur baby to warm up to me if they tend to be on the more shy/reserved side of the personality spectrum. ⭐️ My priority is ensuring a safe and caring environment. I do this by keeping a close eye on their overall mood and offering attention or breathing room depending on how they engage and respond to my presence or the space(s) we occupy. ⭐️ I’m no stranger to senior animals, administering medications, and dogs who avoid happy hour at the dog parks lol. This level of care is something I feel comfortable taking on in most cases. I encourage you to reach out, I’m happy to answer any and all questions you might have! . . . 📆 NEW SCHEDULE DISCLAIMER FOR HOUSE SITTING 📌 • I am able to accommodate morning routines (meals/meds/walks/serenades), afternoon walks/dedicated attention time (if needed) and evening routines (dinner/meds/abundant adoration). • In between their normal routines I am often tending to other dog walks and responsibilities where on average I am sometimes gone for 4-5 hours during the day and 3-4 hours most evenings. • PLEASE KEEP IN MIND this a rough estimate. This does vary depending on location and day, for instance if you're in an area thats central to my walking schedule there's a strong chance I'll break up the 4-5 hour day time window into smaller increments depending on your fur babies needs. • I am only available for a MINIMUM OF 5 NIGHTS* (see below for exceptions). Once I've established a connection and clear understanding of their needs via a long stay, I am open to shorter / one off requests such as 1-2 nights or half days. * open to exceptions if we’re able to book a walk or two to establish a baseline of familiarity or if care needs are low maintenance.
