Bay Farm-based dogwalker and sitter for any type of pet. I'm well-versed in the specialized needs of exotics, and grew up with dogs of a wide variety of temperaments. I am happy to provide one-on-one walks and for more reactive dogs, I'm an expert at keeping my head on a swivel in order to cross the street well in advance of a bad encounter. Please feel free to contact me for sitting of pets other than dogs. I am all-too-familiar with the stress of entrusting delicate pets to strangers--you can rest assured I understand the importance of following your care instructions to the letter, and will provide frequent updates with pics or videos for your peace of mind.

Safety, trust & environment
I am unable to do overnight sitting for the safety of my birds, but sitting in your house will include 3 equally spaced visits (morning, midday, evening), two of which will be walks. Rates can be negotiated based on required frequency and exercise needed.

Absolutely amazing and highly recommend! She was so great with my 70lb anxious husky and very accommodating with both meeting me at my work office and taking time to calm him down before going on a long walk. I am always hesitant leaving my large separation-anxiety dog with new people, but Alexis made the process very easy and he had a great time. Will definitely book again!
WE loved Alexis. She took care of my Wheaten Terrier so we could go out to dinner with my family. We had a meet and greet and all worked out fine. We will have her come again.

Alexis has dog-sat for our dog, Norah, several times - including a 2 week stint. Norah is a sweetheart with people, but she can be a handful on walks – very enthusiastic, and sometimes reactive towards other dogs. From our first meeting, Alexis impressed me with her calm and professional demeanor. She took the time to understand Norah's personality. She asked detailed questions about Norah's routine, her quirks, and how we manage her on walks. During our trips, Alexis sends regular updates and Norah is always happy and healthy when we come come. If you're looking for a responsible, reliable, and genuinely caring dog sitter, I wholeheartedly recommend Alexis. She's fantastic and we will definitely be using her services again.
Alexis is a compassionate and knowledgeable individual when it comes to animals. Her gentle nature and extensive knowledge make her an ideal candidate for pet sitting and dog walking. My own dog Loki, took an immediate liking to her and she treated him very kindly when they met for the first time.
She is wonderful and very attentive to all pets and animals. She understands animal behavior and when she pet sits (especially dogs) the dogs love her very much. She is used to handling even large dogs and is able to control them during walks and is always prepared. Additionally she is wonderful with pet birds and makes sure she is well informed about how to maintain both physical and mental needs of the birds. I'm also impressed by her professionalism and her friendly yet calm demeanor handling animals.

Schedule
I'm self-employed and my primary work is flexible, so in most instances I can adjust my schedule to suit your needs. I am happy to negotiate weekly or monthly rates for those who need a consistent walker every weekday.
