“We can’t recommend Megan and Jenny enough. We booked an extended stay for our pup and they provided us with regular pictures and updates. Our dog came back happy and healthy, and we won’t hesitate to rebook in the future!”

“Nikita & Anthony are amazing dog sitters. I trusted them completely to take care of my older dog while I was out of town. Really sweet people and excellent communication- clearly dog lovers. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Lee’s home is the ultimate vibe for dogs! Her care for my pup has helped him tremendously with socialization and separation anxiety—he has made friends and doesn’t seem to miss me at all while he’s there 😆🥰 thank you so much Lee for always taking such good care of Hakim—I know he’s in good hands when he’s with you. You provide outstanding dog care services consistently and give your clients ultimate peace of mind while we’re away from fur babes🙏🏽🫶🏽”

“My very energetic lab mix had so much fun with Alexandra. She kept him fetching his ball and well exercised. Alexandra was so easy and accommodating to work with. She was very flexible about drop off and pickup times. She sent pictures and videos every day to show how much fun they were having. I highly recommend Alexandra and will definitely use her again next time we need pet sitting services!”

“Kelly is a wonderful caretaker — she is super communicative and really cares about the well being of your pet. My cat is particularly shy and doesn’t like most people right off the bat; he was comfortable with her in a way I have not seen him be with strangers in very very few instances over 5 years. She’s also super diligent and makes sure your pet will have everything they need for their stay from both ends, every T is crossed and every I dotted. This was my first time using rover and it couldn't have been a better experience. Thank you so much Kelly!”

“Latricia was amazing! Sent me pictures everyday to ensure my pup was safe and happy, and gave great feedback about his behavior when I picked him up. I will definitely trust her with my pup again!”
“Matthew and Van Jospeh did a wonderful job hosting our dog, Stanley, for a 2 night stay. They were very easy to work with, were flexible, very friendly, and Stanley seemed at ease the moment he met them. Would absolutely use their boarding services again. Thank you!”

“Danielle took such good care of our dog Simba. He’s an older dog and they did everything they could to make sure he was comfy and happy. They were really good about his meds as well. Simba took to them like they were family, they gave him a lot of pets and love.”

“Thank you Marlene for your terrific care of Raver! He had a great overnight with you and we're grateful for your warmth, clear communication and professionalism. We'll reach out to rebook for sure! Thanks again.”

“Kristen and Ryan were incredibly warm and accommodating when first meeting my small and nervous doggie. They showed their home and clearly demonstrated a level of care and experience that gave me a lot of comfort and would definitely rebook. They were also attentive of how our dogs interacted and made sure they experienced little to no distress. Highly recommend their services 🩷”

“Madeleine took great care of our dog Joni while we were out of town. My dog and I met her for a meet and greet beforehand, which is helpful for our dog - she likes people that she’s met a few times. Madeleine was easy to coordinate with and sent us daily updates with pictures. We’ll definitely book dog sitting services with Madeleine again.”

“Hy and Arlo were great sitters for our pup during a long vacation. It was his first time staying for a long period of time somewhere unfamiliar and Hy put us right at ease. Right off the bat, they seemed very comfortable with our pup and very confident around dogs generally, and pup took right to exploring their spacious home with a nice, fenced in backyard. Our dog is dog-reactive and they had ideas for best routes to walk him in their neighborhood. During our trip, they were able to use their intuitiveness to troubleshoot some barking at night. When we picked him up, we could tell he took a real liking to Hy while we were gone. Thanks Hy and Arlo for taking such good care of our guy while!”

“Mary was amazing with my dog Atlas! Atlas is quite shy, but he warmed up her so quickly. She sent frequent updates, so I never had to worry about how he was doing, and I really appreciated the fact that she set up a meet and greet before boarding to make sure there was a good fit :) she was also great with his twice daily medication! thank you!”
“Nova had a fantastic stay at Brian and Robert’s! I received the most wonderful updates that really let me know she was relaxed and well taken care of. I really do think they loved and cared for her as if she was their own”

“Fantastic! Our little guy felt super comfortable the entire time and was very happy. Jeff and Beth were super communicative and easy to work with. They are a lovely family who took care of Memphis as a family member”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and kittens my whole life and continued adopting them as an adult — animals have always been at the heart of my home! I’ve raised and trained a puppy from 8 weeks old, cared for up to 3 medium-sized dogs at a time, and have experience housing and caring for rabbits, birds, and reptiles too. 🐶🐱🐰🦜🐸🦎 Your pet will be welcomed into a warm, loving home where they’ll be treated like family! I’m also a pet parent myself — my 1-year-old pup and 9-year-old cat are both incredibly friendly with people and other animals and absolutely love making new friends. They’re always excited to welcome new furry guests! 🐕🐈 I believe pet sitting is so much more than just filling a food bowl twice a day — it’s about being real company for your pet. Surrounded by cozy blankets, their favorite toys from home, and plenty of love, your pet will feel comfortable and right at ease from the moment they arrive. I’m happy to provide multiple daily walks and plenty of undivided attention throughout the day!
“Chad was an amazing dog sitter. He was very attentive, responded quickly to my questions and had the perfect amount of space for a playful dog. I would recommend anyone leave their dog with him!”

“Super smooth communication, attention to detail and most importantly…true affection for our kitties! This was our first time working with Shanley but definitely not the last. :)”

“Qishu and Ian were SO amazing and wonderful w/miles and my home. They were communicative, asked all the right questions beforehand to make sure they knew how to care for miles and the house, and kept me super posted with photos and updates throughout their stay. I look forward to working with them again.”

“Cindy was great when Sadie had a little medical emergency! She called and talked through it with me, handled it like a champ and my kitty is fine as a result of her care. Thank you!”

“Jessica was great! Punctual, responds quickly, and my kitties loved her. She sent lots of pictures and informative updates after each visit. I would trust her to watch my girls every time.”

“Christine was great with our two kitties who warmed up to her pretty quickly! She was punctual, provided great feedback and followed all the complicated instructions we left her. Thank you, Christine!”

“Melissa was very easy to communicate and clearly cared about our cats, playing and sending a lot of great photos. We recommend Melissa for taking care of your pets while you are away”

“Chloe made the pet-sitting experience super easy and stress-free! She accommodated a very early start time and administered meds to my cat with no trouble. She was extremely communicative and friendly and clearly cares very much about caring for animals and brings that presence into her role. Will definitely be booking again, thank you Chloe!”

About: I've loved cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had cats, and I learned early on that every cat has their own unique personality, preferences, and way of showing affection. In 2014, I adopted my cat Momo, who became my constant companion for nearly 12 years. He had such a big impact on my life that he eventually became the inspiration for much of my artwork and the creative business I run today. Caring for Momo through every stage of life gave me extensive hands-on experience with feeding routines, enrichment, grooming, veterinary visits, medications, and senior cat care. During his later years and medical treatments, I learned the importance of patience, observation, and paying attention to subtle changes in behavior and health. As a home-based artist, I have a flexible schedule and can provide attentive care, companionship, playtime, feeding, medication support, and regular updates. Whether your cat is social and playful or shy and independent, I will take the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.

“Wonderful job watching my cat!! She was so communicative with me and sent photos and when I got home my kitty was so happy and the house was clean:) highly recommend!!! Would absolutely be booking again”

“Jennifer’s great! This is the second time I’ve booked her to drop in on my 3 cats. Her Rover Cards are very detailed and she includes lots of pictures of my boys. We all like her very much.”

“Devyn was the sweetest and took great care of our fur babies during each drop in visit this past weekend. The updates and photos that she sent us each day made us feel like our pets were safe and comfortable with her. One of our pets, Dexter, is a little tough to crack, but Devyn was able to get her to open up to her a bit more with her favorite toy! We can't wait to book Devyn again and highly recommend her to anyone needing a reliable and sweet pet sitter for their pets!!”

“Marian was very sweet and communicative and my cat really seemed to like her just by the fact that Marian was able to get multiple pictures of her, and even one of my cat pushing her head into Marian's hand for a pet! I've never seen my cat so this with someone she's just met. I'm really happy I found Marian :)”

“This was my first time hiring Laura for cat sitting. She was great! She checked in on time each day and we loved the photos of our cat Pepper. I highly recommend Laura for cat sitting!”

“Elyse took care of my two kittens for just under two weeks and did an amazing job. She was super reliable and communicative. The kittens seemed healthy, happy and relaxed when I got home, so it was obvious they were in good hands. Would definitely request for her help again in the future.”

“Emilia-Laura was the best! My typically shy cats were drawn to her. She gave them lots of love and attention while also tending to their litter messes. She was also great at communicating and explaining how the cats were behaving with her. Would book again!”

“Adam was fantastic! This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous because my cat requires two oral medication injections (liquid meds via syringe) per day, and it is by far her least favorite part of the day. Despite never having given a cat oral injections before, Adam handled it very well during our meet and greet, and I felt confident that he would take great care of my fur baby while I was gone. I even had an unexpected issue getting home in time and Adam was willing and able to help cover for a couple extra days! I won’t hesitate to call on Adam again when I need someone to care for my cat again! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Grace has house sat and watched our three cats multiple times - as always, she’s fantastic! She gives our cats plenty of play time, is trustworthy, responsible, and super thoughtful. We look forward to having Grace watch our fur babies again in the future!”

“Melina did such a great job drooping in and feeding my elderly cat, Momo. She was prompt with timing and sent lots of pictures and updates. I could tell that Momo really liked her 🥰 would definitely recommend Melina to anyone!!”

“I’ve used Ashley twice now to care for my lil boy when I’ve been away from home and she’s phenomenal! Knowing someone cares for my boy and loves him like I would helps my anxiety leaving him for a week. I can’t recommend her enough to check in on your fur baby. I’ll definitely be using her again in the future when I need to leave my boy with someone I can trust. ❤️”

“We love how thoughtful Kelly is in her approach to taking care of pets and handling so many details to ensure that our Snowy had a wonderful time. Her set-up is top notch and we felt our Snowy was in great hands. Thank you, Kelly.”

“Another great day with Tamara and Sidney! My puppy bounds out of the car when we show up at her house and comes home happy, tired, and well-taken care of. She is amazing!”

About: I have been caring for pets my entire life. I have always had at least two or three cats and dogs or two. I have raised puppies and cared for elderly pets. I have cared for diabetic cats and dogs with cancer. I understand the importance of following pet parents instructions when caring for other’s animals because each pet has very different needs. I am free right now all days but Tuesday which is when I attend classes at SFSU. I am free for dogs walks or dog sitting all days but Tuesday as long as I have a days notice. I live in an apartment with no yard right now down the street from lake Merrit. There is a dog park just 1 block down the street with a fence that I will walk dogs down to 4-8 times a day depending on the needs of the dog. We do have a large apartment and very pet friendly environment.
“Baxter has stayed Andrea and her pups twice for daycare, with hopefully more days to come! Andrea has a gentle, kind spirit and seems very attuned to a dog's needs. At our meet & greet, she asked great questions about Baxter and his routines. She provided fun updates with pics a few times a day -- much appreciated!”

About: I've always loved dogs and enjoy spending time with them, whether that's going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I know every dog has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to make sure they're comfortable and cared for the way they're used to. I work from home three times a week which gives me more time to care for pups. This is something that allows me more flexibility with care needs. I do not have any other pets in the home which allows your pet to have all my attention, therefore meeting whatever need they may have.

“Maya is a wonderful dog sitter & human! She took such good care of my senior dog, especially after I told her about some recent health issues he’s experiencing. She kept a close eye on him, keeping him super safe & keeping me updated throughout the day. Thank you so much Maya, for loving my baby and keeping him safe!”

“Nasreddine is such an amazing dog sitter, I can’t recommend her enough! From working with our schedule to sending us updates on Kay she was on it and fantastic! Highly recommend her to anyone’s pups!!”

About: We are a husband and wife team with a combined 30 years of experience working with dogs. We have had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, & personalities. For us, our job is simple. To make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved when you are away. Since my husband and I both work from home, our schedules are flexible. This means your dog will have constant companionship throughout the day. A typical day includes: Outdoor playtime at various parks, 3 dedicated walks, and lots of snuggles. We love sending a daily photo and updates, so you can see how much fun your furry family member is having. We live in a large 2,000 sq ft apartment with lots of room for your pet to roam. Our neighborhood is very quiet and relaxed. Lots of families and very safe.
“If you're anything like me, the guilt of being away at work all day weighs on me, but knowing that instead, my fur-baby is now getting tons of attention, pets, walks, and love puts my mind at ease. Getting cuddles from Van Joseph and Matthew, the company of their sweet little dogs, and soft blankets to sleep in is priceless! I got so many precious photos which brightened my day! Overjoyed to have found Van Joseph and Matthew to care for my sweet girl Petunia!!”

About: I managed a pet sitting service for 4 years with more than 400 clients and owned my own pet sitting service for 2 years, providing above and beyond pet care: dog walking, boarding, overnight house sitting, cat sitting, and other small pet care. I'm trained in insulin injections and skilled at applying ear drops, administering pills, and other basic daily medicinal needs. I also take great pictures of your pets and provide detailed notes while you're away! As a pet owner myself, I know first hand how hard it is to leave your pets at home. If I am to stay at your home, I can also take care of daily house duties like rotating lights, bringing in mail/packages, and watering plants. (I'm a skilled plant owner as well!) I'm trained in pet CPR and first aid and am skilled at recognizing dog behavioral cues. While I'm not a trainer, I'm happy to work with your dog on existing commands and basic commands. I have a very flexible, remote job and will prioritize your pet and it's needs! I take my own dog for hikes and play dates 3-4 times a week (on top of regular walks!) and look forward to having your dog join our pack! I have a two dogs of my own and your pup must get along with mine. I do provide a crate should your dog prefer that in my home. We have a fenced in yard for late night outs. We have plenty of toys to share and can easily manage any food resource issues.
About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.
About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. I have a fenced yard and loving older gentle children who adore pets. I can crate your dog if desired to sleep, but also have kids that would be very happy to snuggle if preferred. You can trust that we will care for your pups as if they are our very own family dog for the duration of their stay.

“Lynn is so attentive and kind. Would highly recommend!! She sent so many photos, went on a long hike with my high energy dog, and my dog came home exhausted I know she had a blast.”

“Latricia is a really kind person who has taken wonderful care of our dog during boarding and day care. He clearly loves seeing Latricia and hanging out with his dog buddies at her pad. And she sends us really adorable photos every time! We'll definitely continue using her services. Thanks Latricia!”

“Our dog had day care with Krishna this week and we’ll definitely plan to book ongoing daycare her again! They went on walks around the neighborhood and at the nearby park. Chili got to sleep around the house, deck, and on her lap!”

About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.
“We’ve done vacation boarding, but suddenly needed some day care when we were having workers in the house. Anthony and Nikita kindly hosted Bear on short notice, which was much appreciated!”

“Patrice was very prompt and communicative. She helped my nervous senior dog to feel comfortable with her and was able to take him out for a successful walk when he has been very shy with other dog walkers. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Laura is an amazing dog walker. She connected with both our dogs effortlessly and made sure that they both got what they needed from her time with them, despite the difference in their ages and physical health. She is also a fantastic photographer and great communicator - I looked forward to her updates each day :) She is now our go-to for all doggie exercise needs!!”

About: I love dogs. Plain and simple. Nothing makes me happier or puts a bigger smile on my face than seeing a dog strut down the sidewalk, living its best life, or just stretched out somewhere soaking up the sun. I’ve had the honor of being a dog dad to three pups over the years, and I miss having one around. I’m currently dog-childless, and after recently retiring from a job I had for 32 years, I’ve got a little more time on my hands and, honestly, I’m craving some much-needed dog time. I’m not quite in a position to bring another dog into our family right now, so I figured this might be the next best thing. I’d love to spend some of that time giving your dog some love, getting them out for a good walk, letting them get some exercise, and just hanging out with them. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs. They make me happy, and I think they can tell when somebody really likes them. So I’d love nothing more than to meet your pup, get to know their personality, and make a new four-legged friend. I’ll give them plenty of attention, take good care of them, and probably talk to them like they’re a person. Because, well… they are. At least in my book. I’m retired, so I have a pretty open and flexible schedule these days. I’m available Monday through Thursday from 8am–6pm, and honestly, I can’t think of a better way to spend some of that time than getting outside and hanging out with a dog. I like getting some steps in, getting some fresh air, and having a dog along makes all of that a lot more fun. So pet care fits pretty naturally into my week. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and give them some attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re busy. Since I’m offering dog walks, most of my time with your pup will be out getting some fresh air, stepping out on the town, and having a good time. I’ll come to your home, get your pup ready to go, and we’ll head out for a good walk. I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave for me, but mostly I’ll just pay attention to your dog and let them be themselves. Some dogs want to cover some ground, some want to stop and sniff every five feet, and some just want a little extra attention along the way. I’m good with all of it. And when I say I’ll treat your dog like my own, I mean it. My dogs were family, and they were treated like royalty with plenty of love, attention, belly rubs, and affection. Basically, I want your dog to have a great time, feel safe and loved, and be thinking, “When is this guy coming back?”
“Adam is always quick to respond, communicative and was able to take my dog and an additional one we are dogsitting out today! And for a minor cost versus double. His style is laid back and easy while being on top of all the details. Would highly recommend!”

“Christine is detail-oriented and incredibly caring in her approach! She was communicative throughout, asked good questions as needed, and took extra care to ensure my dog Ellie trusted her and had a good time. An excellent helping hand!”

“Esteban quickly became my puppy's very best friend (I hope my kids don't see this). My puppy returns from walks and passes out for hours. Esteban is reliable and my puppy is always excited to go on their walks. He also communicates well and gives great updates on any activity from the walk.”

“Kalen came for the first walk and meeting right on time, actually a bit early! He has something special with animals, both dogs came right up to him and started snuggling; if you knew my dogs you would understand what a big deal this is. He took both of them on the walk and when he came back both dogs looked happy and tired. The dogs stayed with him while he was saying goodbye and the cat now loves him. I would recommend Kalen!”

“Victoria is a great communicator and did a fantastic job. My puppy still has a lot to learn and loose leash walking can be a lot of work. I really appreciate that Victoria was patient, understood my puppy's challenges (leash pulling), and worked to help her overcome (changing direction, etc).”

About: I want every dog i walk to have a happy wagging tail when we are together. I have experience walking large and small dogs alike. I have a very flexible schedule Monday thru Friday, mostly in the afternoons and early evenings. I work on weekends so I'm not available then. Since I only do dog walking, I am very careful about encountering other dogs, crossing streets at lights or crosswalks. I pay close attention to their needs as we walk to see if they need petting, treats or to sniff around the area.
“Elyse was amazing! Our normal dog walker bailed on us last minute, so we needed someone fast. Elyse went above and beyond making sure our dogs were comfortable with her and had great communication with us. She is super sweet and our pitties love her!!!”

About: First time booking with Rover? Use this promo code for $20 off: QISHUZ24398 Hi there! My name's Qishu (🔑👟). I moved to Oakland in 2023 to pursue a new dream - chiropractic medicine (for animals and humans)! I'm currently a full-time student and will be until the end of 2027. I was previously a sales engineer with IBM. I'd love to help all the cat and dog mamas/papas out here just as I had in Boulder, CO and, before that, Chicago, IL. I grew up with dogs since the age of 8 - mixed breeds, yorkies, labs, pitbulls, shepherds, terriers, corgis, chihuahuas, frenchies.. the list goes on!! One of the moments that confirmed I’d always want to work with animals was in college, when I helped care for my roommate’s pitbull/red heeler mix, Bridget. She is the sweetest girl, though she struggled with anxiety and health issues. Her teeth were worn down from chewing rocks in her past life, and she’d carry a little blanket around whenever she felt distressed. With her special diet, supplements, and medications, Bridget taught me what it meant to truly care for a soul who’d been through so much. That experience deepened my love and empathy for all animals in a way that’s stayed with me ever since. I would be honored to give your pets the love, exercise, and attention they deserve while you're away! I'm a huge advocate for providing pets with a great quality of life - more than just basic food and shelter. I'm happy to do any small extraneous tasks like getting the mail, watering plants, etc. Just let me know in advance! For my cat parents out there: Because of my 3 kids (Kina, Nemr, & Freyja) and a short stint fostering, I'm seasoned in all things cat/kitten: socializing, changing litter, oral admin of meds, treating fleas, bathing, nail trimming, de-shedding, training (sit, high-five, stand, turn-around, kiss). Since I’m a full-time student, my Rover calendar is currently limited to weekends and school breaks. That said, many families are comfortable having my partner, Ian, join when he’s available—which allows for a little more flexibility with scheduling. It’s a wonderful setup because Ian works from home (and is basically a dog at heart!), so your pets will almost always have company and care. Rest assured, it will only be me caring for your pets unless we’ve discussed and agreed otherwise. I’m also happy to bring Ian to our meet & greet and provide references upon request! I am responsible for creating a safe space for pets in their home. I make sure that they are comfortable and their boundaries are respected and understood with the guidance of their body language and the wisdom from their humans. All animals deserve patience, love, and empathy.

“Emily is so lovely! She is very patient, flexible and clearly works very well with dogs of all temperaments. One of my dogs is a bit of a special one-requires a specific approach and Emily was very easy to chat with and willing to take on a bit of a challenge. She was super friendly and sent amazing pictures of the pups. It was my first time trying Rover and I will definitely do it again, especially with Emily!”

“We can’t recommend Megan and Jenny enough. We booked an extended stay for our pup and they provided us with regular pictures and updates. Our dog came back happy and healthy, and we won’t hesitate to rebook in the future!”

About: I offer a quieter, more individualized kind of dog sitting. I only take dogs from one household at a time, so your dog won’t be sharing the space with a rotating group of other dogs. That allows me to give them a lot of individual attention and to keep their routine as familiar as possible. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and a therapist in training, so being reliable and observant is a big part of my professional life. I’m also very conscientious about following your instructions closely. I know how much the little details matter, and I make a point of keeping track of feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, and the routines that help your dog feel at home. I have firsthand experience caring for an anxious dog who later developed dementia and physical limitations. Because of that, I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and dogs who are sensitive or easily overwhelmed. I understand how much patience and consistency can matter when a dog needs extra support. I’m especially available on weekends, when I can spend plenty of time with your dog rather than fitting visits around a packed schedule. Depending on their personality and energy level, we might have a quiet day at home, take neighborhood walks, or head out to places like Piedmont Park, the Albany Bulb, or the beach. I want your dog to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away, and I want you to feel completely confident that someone is really paying attention to them. Pet care fits best into my schedule on weekends, when I have plenty of time to give dogs attention, walks, companionship, and a relaxed home environment. I’m generally available from Friday evening through Sunday and can often accommodate weekend boarding or daytime care. During the week I work a regular professional schedule, so I’m intentional about only accepting bookings when I know I can provide the time and attention a pet needs. When a dog is staying with me, I want them to be part of my routine rather than squeezed into it. I take safety and trust seriously and make a point of following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment and make sure dogs have appropriate supervision, regular walks and potty breaks, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I’m careful about feeding instructions, medications, leash safety, and any behavioral or health concerns you share with me. I also like to know about a dog’s personality, triggers, routines, and preferences ahead of time so I can help them feel comfortable and settled. If I’m caring for a pet in your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow your instructions closely. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.
“the best sitter ever! It was my first time leaving Winnie with someone she hadn’t met before, and she had such a great time. Nasreddine sent many many pictures and videos, and Winnie got lots of great cuddles and play time.”

About: Hey I’m Izzy! I’m here to treat your fur babies as if they’re mine. When I’m with your dog I like to stimulate their mind by bringing treats and toys and have fun with some training (of course with your permission first!). I am currently a self employed dog trainer so I do know how to handle different types of dogs. My main experience is training and I frequently work with service dogs. I have experience with all kinds of temperaments so don’t be shy to let me know if your dog has an anxiety issue or is overly excited. My upmost important priority is making your dog feel as comfortable as possible when he or she is under my care. I can’t wait to meet all these beautiful faces! I am also a student and still new to the bay area. Luckily at the moment my schedule is rather flexible, I can potentially adjust my schedule for your pet on certain occasions! I will follow whatever instructions you give me when I stay over at your home. There will be constant supervision when let outside or on a walk. Your dog will have a warm bed (or crate) to sleep in and their mental + physical needs will be met everyday!
“Stephanie has a knack for creating fun, novel, and enriching experiences for Otis that really helps him grow into a better more well adjusted dog. He comes back happier and more confident. She consistently keeps us informed on the daily happenings and his last visit eased our minds while we moved homes. Her services are invaluable and we are so grateful for her skill and positive approach to this work.”

“Angela did a great job watching Dudley overnight! He came back healthy and happy. I got updates while we were away; we’re looking forward to having Dudley stay with her again.”

“Ruthy was an amazing dog sitter! She was very flexible and accommodating with our last minute request, and treated our pup like one of her own. Very communicative, sent many photos and videos so we could see how much fun Wednesday was having. It made us feel a lot more relaxed on our trip. Her own two dogs, Milo and Cicero, are the sweetest—clearly very well trained and very playful. Wednesday was very exhausted and happy when we picked her up. Thanks Ruthy!”

“Meera is the best, Stella had a great time with her and Riley. She took Stella for a walk many times and kept me posted about everything at all times. Riley and Stella became best friends, I can wait to book again and I couldn’t recommend her more❤️🥳 thank you Meera!”

“Len was fantastic! He took care of our pup Wisco after our last minute change of travel plans for 4th of July weekend. Our dog is older, had just started some medication, and also is afraid of fireworks (so not ideal to be away from home during 4th of July). That said, Len made sure to understand her sensitivities so he could create an environment where she felt safe/comfortable given the holiday weekend. He shared the cutest photos of her while we were away, and we came to a very happy dog. Would absolutely book with Len again.”

“Damian was amazing! He really enjoyed his time with Nandor and Nandor definitely had a great time as well. He was very responsive and sent us a lot of pictures and updates throughout the stay. Thank you again!”

“My dog was so chill when I came to pick her up. She didn't want to leave. I have never seen her so content with someone else. I trust Astrid and her family and thank them from the bottom of my heart for such a good stay. It makes me so comfortable to know my baby is safe with them.”

“Inkoo was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our dog Pancho—sending us daily updates with multiple photos and thoughtful notes that really put our minds at ease while we were away. She communicated clearly and consistently, and it was clear from the pictures that Pancho was happy, well cared for, and having a great time—especially at the dog parks she took him to! Inkoo is warm, reliable, and incredibly detail-oriented. We’re so grateful to have found her and will definitely consider her again for any future pet sitting needs.”

“Natasha took good care of Kona and gave us a detailed update multiple times with photos for the night we had Kona over at hers. She understood his personality and was able to help him get familiar with his new environment quick and be a snuggle buddy that he is. Sage was also friendly and got along with him as we saw them going on walks together on the photos. Loved it for Kona that he got to experience Sage and his mama! Kona will for sure be back. Thanks Natasha!”
