About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. I have a fenced yard and loving older gentle children who adore pets. I can crate your dog if desired to sleep, but also have kids that would be very happy to snuggle if preferred. You can trust that we will care for your pups as if they are our very own family dog for the duration of their stay.
About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.

About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! As a nursing student, I’m attentive, responsible, and comfortable monitoring behavior changes and overall well-being. I treat every pet with patience, respect, and love.
About: Hi, I’m Austin – a lifelong dog lover with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve been looking after dogs since I was 12, and it’s more than just a job to me—it’s a way of life. I know every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to build trust and make sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at ease. Whether your dog’s full of energy or a little shy like my own pup Lady, I’m all about meeting them where they’re at. You can count on me for dependable, compassionate care—and plenty of tail wags. Also, I can teach your dog how to shake within an hour (: I currently work from home and part time as I have my own business that I passively run with a lot of help from my manager. So I have plenty of time for your pets and my own pup I offer a calm, secure environment where pets can relax and feel at home. My house has plenty of space for them to roam inside, plus a large fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and fresh air. I always supervise backyard time and tailor the day to match your dog’s energy level and needs. If your pup is crate-trained or needs a quiet space to unwind, I’ve got clean, comfortable crates available. Safety is my top priority—I keep a close eye on each dog and never take on more pets than I can give proper attention to. You can trust that while you’re away, your dog will be in a safe, loving, and well-managed space.
