“Kelly is wonderful! We have a 10 month old 15 pound cavapoo named Daisy who we had to leave for two weeks. We were very nervous about it! Kelly was amazing--so responsible, caring, and reassuring. She clearly loves the work of caring for pets and is very good at it. She sent photos and videos twice a day and responded promptly to all of our communications. Daisy is nervous around other dogs but Kelly made her feel comfortable. Daisy even made some friends! About: I've been taking care of kitties for my entire life, and more recently, dogs! So far, I've worked with hyper dogs, an anxious dog, and a sick dog, so I'm comfortable with a variety of energies. The days I have set for my availability are pretty consistently open, and other days, I can be flexible if you reach out in advance In a new space, I allow them to find a space they feel comfortable in and hang out with them for as long as they need to get adjusted. About: Hiya, I'm Peter! I've cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, and have since provided countless hours of pet-care of friends, family, friends of the family, and families of friends! I have years of experience doing walks, play, feeding, bathing, clean-up and more. I have experience with excitable breeds like a neighbor's golden doodle to my family's mellowed-out portugese water doggies, along with senior care. I see animal care as a privilege. Our pets are no less than little bundles of feelings and life that we are given the opportunity to cherish. I have been told on multiple occasions that I am able to calm animals unusually quickly, and I feel that I am attuned to the emotions of animals I care for. I would love to opportunity to provide care to your pet! I work from home in a low-speed position, so I have a flexible schedule for your pets' needs. Normally, I would do a morning and afternoon walk, with potty breaks peppered whenever they need. I can also step away from my work at a moment's notice if anything arises, from entertaining a bored doggie to foiling attempted counter surfing! I have a paved yard for sunbathing and potty breaks, the door to which I work right next to. I live near Lake Merritt, the Morcom Rose Garden, and a dog park, so I can provide walks of all lengths. My home is very cozy and has multiple spaces where an animal can detox from any overstimulation. I can provide a dog crate, scheduled meals, supervision, and play.
