About: For 5 years I worked at a dog daycare with all kinds of canines! For most of my time there, I was an overnight caretaker, solely responsible for anywhere between 5-99 dogs. I’ve worked with pups of all ages, many breeds, and many needs. Before that, I spent my teenage years volunteering at a local shelter, where I walked and cuddled dogs from all walks of life, and got the hang of getting nervous newcomers out of their shell. And it’s not just dogs I love, but all kinds of critters big and small! I have a cat and lizard, I enjoy any opportunity I have to cat-sit, and exotic pets whose care may be more than some want to handle are my pleasure! Your dog will stay in a clean and spacious pet-friendly apartment with access to a secure fenced courtyard. We are also only a 5-minute walk from a large open green space, allowing for regular walks, outdoor time, and supervised play. For social dogs, my friendly Aussie can be a wonderful companion during their stay. I work hard to make every boarding experience stress-free and enjoyable. Dogs receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and companionship throughout the day, and I do not leave pets alone for extended periods whenever possible. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can stay connected and have peace of mind while you’re away. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to provide not just boarding, but a safe and caring second home where they can feel happy, comfortable, and loved. I work from home most days and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide frequent supervision, companionship, and exercise throughout the day. Pet care is already a central part of my daily routine, as I currently care for my own young Australian Shepherd, with my current walking schedule: four times a day (~6 hours interval). Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. “Rob was so great. We had a last minute no-show with another sitter one and a half hours before our vacation. I called customer service and they sent out requests. Rob accepted right away and even picked our german shepherd up. We didn't get a chance to introduce them because we were forced to head to the airport while finding arrangements, and our dog was very much on alert (via the cam) when Rob, a stranger to her, picked her up. He handled it extremely well and safely. He took her on a hike and updated us with happy pictures of her being played with and well exercised. Cant thank him enough, was truly a life saver. thank you Rob!”
