About: I had my own sweet pup for over 15 years. Unfortunately we lost her this past year. Now I have a new pup who is a ball of energy! I assisted heavily during some of the major fires in northern California over the years, working with several professional animal rescue teams. Love dogs of all shapes and sizes just out here hoping to help as many pups as possible. Relocated to Alameda in 2025. I work remote so I have some availability through the week, the weekends I’m available. I have plenty of space available for furry friends. My pup has lots of energy and would love a playmate. Currently available part time. I’m very active so I love taking walks. I do have a small fenced backyard with grass. Our house is very dog friendly.

I currently have a Pomeranian–Papillon mix who is a big part of my life, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. About: I have had my own cats for about ten years and had farm cats and dogs as a child. My cat recently passed and I am not quite ready to adopt another but want to help others in the mean time! As of right now I’m boarding a sweet female cat for a friend and have been for about a month but she will be going back home in the next few weeks! I live in a studio apartment so I am able to board small to medium animals. I am off just two days otherwise I am available in afternoons after I am off work! Let me know if you have additional questions about my experience or availability! I work full time in San Francisco so I usually leave pretty early in the morning and get back home early afternoon Wednesday through Sunday. Monday and Tuesday I am off but run a few errands. When I had my kitty she would usually feed wet food in the morning and leave some dry food for the day, then when I got home I would leave out some more wet food for the night. I of course have a water fountain and plenty of toys and scratchers for the day and have some play time when I get home. I have a studio apartment so not much room for a big dog but I do have a quiet neighborhood for walks and a gated backyard for play time. Cats should be no issue in the apartment with all the toys and scratchers I have!

Single family home, small enclosed yard, great neighborhood. Work 3miles min home M-F 8-4, home weekends. Friday late afternoon drop off/late Sunday pickup. Walks, hikes, trips to Berkeley Marina, feeding, play, medications and lots of cuddling. Enclosed yard, single story single family home, no kids, non-smoking house, furniture and carpets all dog friendly, nice residential area in Berkeley. Access to outdoors all day.

About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).
