About: I have a pup named Frida who is a rescue and has taught me so much about patience and care. I’ve grown up with dogs and have helped sit for friends dogs. I am very observant and attentive of dog behaviors, personalities, and matching their energy. As a Rover user and dog mom I am very amenable to the level of care and love your pup may need 🌞 I’m currently a full-time student halfway into my Master’s program to be an Art Therapist. My program is online with a lot of flexibility for visits and walks-great for me and your pup! In a client’s home I am mindful of existing protocols and placements of items. This means knowing what treats can be given and when, where the leashes/toys go, enforcing established rules while keeping a mindful presence.

About: I have had a varierty of pets all of my life from rabbits to dogs and love being out nature. I am very conscious of pets needs and make sure they feel at home in any setting. I am working part-time and have plenty of free time to care for your pets. Weekdays are preferable but I am open to most weekends. I have a spacious, clean and comfy apartment with room for both small and medium sized pets. There is plenty of outdoor space for nice neighborhood walks.

With dogs, I like a balance of walks, playtime, and downtime, but I always follow their lead, some dogs want lots of attention and activity, while others prefer space and quiet company. I’m comfortable with both and focus on making sure each dog feels safe, relaxed, and cared for. I also have experience with cats, and I enjoy working with multiple types of animals in a home. Overall, I’m reliable, patient, and focused on making sure every pet is well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits into my routine really well because I have a flexible full-time job. I’m usually in the office about three days a week, but my schedule isn’t rigid and I can work from different locations or from home when needed, especially when I’m pet sitting. Because of that flexibility, I’m able to plan my day around feeding times, walks, and check-ins so pets stay on their normal routine. I generally walk dogs in the morning and afternoons, so it’s easy for me to build that into my day. I’m also available for morning, evening, and overnight care depending on what’s needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, medication, and any specific routines or house rules. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, whether that’s walks, playtime, or just quiet company depending on their personality. I’m also careful to respect their space and adjust my approach if a pet is shy or needs time to warm up. I keep the home clean and tidy, including feeding areas, water bowls, and litter boxes if needed, and I’m comfortable handling any messes or accidents. I also provide updates and photos so owners know how their pet is doing while they’re away.
