About: I've taken care of my own two cats, Mo and Grey, for almost ten years now. In that time, I've also cared for cats of all ages! I've looked after grumpy senior cats, curious kittens, and cats that wanted nothing to do with me. My favorite cats to look after are sweet cats who just want scritches and a warm place to nap. About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.
About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. About: Ever since I was a kid, I've loved animals. Growing up, my family had both cats and dogs, and I always enjoyed getting to know their unique personalities. I spent time playing with them, caring for them, and even drawing them. In 2014, I adopted my first pet as an adult, Momo, a sweet cat with short legs and a big personality. In 2020, our family grew again with Oogi, a playful corgi. Through caring for them, I gained years of hands-on experience with feeding routines, exercise, enrichment, grooming, training, and veterinary care. Oogi and I completed multiple training classes together, and I spent time learning about dog behavior and body language to better understand and communicate with dogs. About: I’ve grown up with cats and kittens my whole life and continued adopting them as an adult — animals have always been at the heart of my home! I’ve raised and trained a puppy from 8 weeks old, cared for up to 3 medium-sized dogs at a time, and have experience housing and caring for rabbits, birds, and reptiles too. 🐶🐱🐰🦜🐸🦎 Your pet will be welcomed into a warm, loving home where they’ll be treated like family! “Rob was so great. We had a last minute no-show with another sitter one and a half hours before our vacation. I called customer service and they sent out requests. Rob accepted right away and even picked our german shepherd up. We didn't get a chance to introduce them because we were forced to head to the airport while finding arrangements, and our dog was very much on alert (via the cam) when Rob, a stranger to her, picked her up. He handled it extremely well and safely. He took her on a hike and updated us with happy pictures of her being played with and well exercised.
