Hello! My name is Alex. I am a single mom of 2 amazing girls; 13 and 7 years old. We have a huge love for dogs and pets in our home; they truly bring our house so much joy. We love to be outside; walks on the beach, going to the park across the street from our house, hikes, and I enjoy running (3 miles if I am lucky and have the time). I have always had a family dog(s) growing up as a child. I have been a ‘professional’ dog caregiver for over 5 years now. I am reliable, timely, attentive, and active. I ensure every dog we care for is kept as closely to the same routine they have at home. Walks, feedings, baths, sleeping; I try to keep the same routine as if they were home.

This was Dash’ first time boarding overnight. Alexandra put my worries at ease. Secure fenced backyard, dogs eat separately from each other. Alexandra was conscientious and gave my boy a place to retreat to at all times, and also did supervised introductions to the two other dogs in her care to invite play if he wanted. Such a positive experience for him and for me, too! Highly recommend Alexandra for your dog’s care. And she lives across the street from a sweet little park! Super lovely. This was our pups first sleepover at a house he didn't know. He came home tired and super happy. Alex was flexible and really nice. We really appreciated her communication and confidence with a hyper puppy. Her house is super nice too! And right by a great park
Terry was pulling with excitement when he realized he was getting dropped off under Alexandra’s care again. Alexandra took great care of my dog. She was very accommodating of drop off and pick up times, and sent daily update photos and videos. Terry was in great spirits when I picked him up. Thanks Alexandra!

Schedule
I work from home, so being able to attended to a furry friend during the day is very doable. Depending on the furry friends routine; I can offer walks in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I also have a fenced in backyard so going out for potty breaks is easy too :)

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard for the pups to go out to the bathroom or to stretch their legs. There is enough space in my home for a crate if your fur baby likes to sleep in a crate. I try my best to keep routines the same from their home to my home.
A typical day
I love going on walks beside the beach and around the old Del Monte factory. I also enjoy taking the dogs to the local dog park.

- I love knowing what your pups ‘norm’ at home is so I can best ensure the translation is as smooth as possible. How and where does your dog sleep? Do they like eating in the kitchen, living room, etc? What times do they go on walks?? Any other information that would be helpful for me to make your pup as comfortable as possible would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to make your pup feel as comfortable and safe as possible so they can have the best time!
