I also have over 5 years in dog and cat sitting experience. I’m currently super flexible and can fit in walks frequently i’m home for summer break so have lots of free time. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, beginning with my childhood growing up on a farm. That early, hands-on exposure taught me the fundamentals of animal care, daily routines, and how to read animal behavior. This transitioned into professional work as a dog trainer at Happy Hound play and daycare in Oakland where I trained and cared for dogs both at the center and on park walks and in home visits. I am able to confidently handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels from puppies needing structure and basic obedience to older dogs requiring a gentle, patient approach. I have a background in housing and caring for animals. I currently share my home with my own pet, Baloo and my housemates pet Bentley my living space is always dog-friendly. I know exactly what it takes to create a safe, enriching, and comforting environment for visiting animals. I can give owners peace of mind while they are away! We are so grateful we found Tommy! He stayed overnight to take care of our 2 kitties and pup. One of our cats has a lot of health conditions, and it's a bit of a complicated routine. Tommy was able to give insulin and multiple medications during the stay. He was an excellent communicator and we felt safe knowing he was with our babies.
Nicky did an amazing job watching our senior greyhound. She was incredibly communicative throughout, and was on time and reliable. Our dog takes multiple medications daily and has a complicated dinner process, but Nicky had no problem handling it. We came home to a spotless house and happy hound. Definitely will be using her again.
From our initial meet and greet, Manuel’s communication was prompt, clear, and great, which immediately made us feel comfortable leaving Hampton in his care. Hampton had a vet appointment the day of the sitting and was still coming down from the effects of sedation, and Manuel handled him with such patience and care. Hampton also requires several medications on a regular schedule, and Manuel didn’t flinch. He made sure everything was given as instructed and really showed that he cared about keeping Hampton comfortable and safe. Manuel communicated with us regularly throughout the stay and sent pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. He even got up around 3 AM to let Hampton outside—which is totally Hampton being Hampton 😂. He can be a bit of a rebel and was probably trying to look for us! Manuel took it all in stride. He was attentive, reliable, caring, communicative, and everything you could ask for in a sitter. We felt completely comfortable knowing Hampton was in great hands and would absolutely recommend Manuel.
I highly recommend him for both pet sitting and house sitting. From our very first meet-and-greet, I felt comfortable with him. He met my family, interacted with my pets, and has such an open, caring, and personable nature that he just fit right in. While I was away, he followed all of my instructions carefully, including administering medication exactly as directed by my veterinarian. He also did an excellent job with my cat, who is not accustomed to new people and can be challenging when someone unfamiliar is in the home. He was patient and able to manage her while still respecting her personality and boundaries. Most importantly, I felt confident that my pets and my home were safe and well cared for in my absence. He communicated well, was dependable, and genuinely seemed to care about my animals and their well-being. He is truly a nice person and someone I trust. I would absolutely hire him again—in fact, he has become my go-to pet sitter and house sitter. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone responsible, caring, trustworthy, and attentive to their pets.
Brady was awesome! From the beginning he was a quick and easy person to communicate with, and arrange the meet/greet. He took amazing care of Winston as when we walked in after our trip, Winston was happy and healthy. He updated us everyday and sent pictures/video. Winston needed some ear meds while we were gone which is no easy task and he had the patience and made it happen. He also left the house in the same manner in which he found it which was super respectful and kind. We highly recommend Brady and look forward to having him take care of Winston again in the future. Chloe was amazing!! They stayed with my senior cat for a week and kept my all my plants (indoor and outdoor) alive and thriving. They were very communicative and detail oriented also sent pictures and updates morning and night. The house looked even better then when I left it and my cat didn’t even seem to notice I was gone.
