I also have over 5 years in dog and cat sitting experience. I’m currently super flexible and can fit in walks frequently i’m home for summer break so have lots of free time. About: I come from parents who did Alaskan dog mushing with over 20 dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have experience with many breeds. I know how to train, help with senior care, and provide any advice you’re looking for. I’m currently working part time, so I can quickly adapt to any pet or house needs you might have. I’m also very physically active so any further exercise is welcome! After growing up with dogs in the Alaskan wilderness surrounded by moose, I definitely have good habits of staying aware of my surroundings. I’ll be able to fully dedicate myself to your requests!

That early, hands-on exposure taught me the fundamentals of animal care, daily routines, and how to read animal behavior. This transitioned into professional work as a dog trainer at Happy Hound play and daycare in Oakland where I trained and cared for dogs both at the center and on park walks and in home visits. I am able to confidently handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels from puppies needing structure and basic obedience to older dogs requiring a gentle, patient approach. I have a background in housing and caring for animals. I currently share my home with my own pet, Baloo and my housemates pet Bentley my living space is always dog-friendly. When I moved my dad to California so I could become his full-time caregiver, bringing his dog with us was never a question. He’s an important part of our family and daily life. I previously had another beloved dog from the age of 13 through 27, giving me experience with puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to build trust and help them feel secure.
