We did a meet and greet before dropping Dobby off, which I think was very helpful and put Dobby at ease when we finally dropped him off. They were very kind and attentive to Dobby’s needs. I was concerned about Dobby staying in someone else’s house with another dog because he is a rescue and he’s kind of skittish, but Dobby and Mia got along really well. Nikita sent me daily updates and photos and that was very reassuring. I also really appreciated the fact that they took Dobby out on hikes and walks with them. That was a real plus, since Dobby is an active dog. I would highly recommend Anthony and Nikita to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter. About: I've taken care of my own two cats, Mo and Grey, for almost ten years now. In that time, I've also cared for cats of all ages! I've looked after grumpy senior cats, curious kittens, and cats that wanted nothing to do with me. My favorite cats to look after are sweet cats who just want scritches and a warm place to nap. About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.
About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. About: Ever since I was a kid, I've loved animals. Growing up, my family had both cats and dogs, and I always enjoyed getting to know their unique personalities. I spent time playing with them, caring for them, and even drawing them. In 2014, I adopted my first pet as an adult, Momo, a sweet cat with short legs and a big personality. I’m skilled at reading dog body language 🐕🦺 so I can keep pups comfortable and stress-free. I’m available on weekends, as well as Mondays and Fridays. I’m also happy to stay over on Monday nights, as long as you don’t need me to stay past 8am the following morning. When I care for pets in your home, I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine consistent. I make sure they have fresh water, regular meals, and plenty of exercise and playtime. I pay close attention to their body language and comfort level, so I can adapt my approach to their needs. I also give lots of affection (if they enjoy it!) and keep their environment clean and safe. You’ll get updates with photos so you know they’re happy and cared for while you’re away.

When it was time to leave, she made sure my girl was properly prepped for bed time. When I came home I found a well fed and tired out Dutchie.
