My apartment building has it's own private dog park we can safely enjoy as well, I have my own dog at home, so I’m careful about slow introductions and only accept dogs that are friendly with other dogs.

I’m new to Rover and was hesitant to have someone I don’t know stay in my home for that long but Grace was so kind, trustworthy, and thoughtful. She was very quick to respond to my messages and sent me thorough updates every other day with lots of adorable pictures of her playing with my cats, which made me so happy. My kitten is a ball of energy and is still learning how to navigate the litter box (sometimes she steps in her poop) and required some medication while I was away. Grace had no issues administering the medication, she did an awesome job monitoring the poop situation, and played with her a ton (my kitten is probably disappointed that I came home from my trip 😂). Also, I cleaned my home before I left and when I returned, it was just as clean (if not cleaner) than I left it. I will 100% be a repeat client! Grace is fantastic!!”

About: I‘ve rescued, fostered and placed animals from different species in homes since 11 years ago. It all started with my soul dog who made me get into dog training and ethology. More animals came into my life and continued to taught me how to properly take care for disabled and senior animals who had terminal cancer, seizures, and mobility issues. As well as different species of animals that urgently needed veterinary care and new homes like bearded dragons, turtles, rats, chickens, cows and fish. I train tuesdays-fridays at night for an hour. I like to do multiple walks and exercise at selected parks around berkeley and oakland. I live in a 1b-1ba apartment with a big cemented balcony in an apartment building. All my windows and balcony door have a screen. My door goes to a carpeted hallway with other apartments so there‘s no possibility of escaping accidents. I also have a 360 camera at my apartment which I use for monitoring.

I’m only working part time once a week so my availability is open for walking pets any time of the day or week either mornings, afternoons, or evenings. About: My family’s had 2 Havanese dogs a little over 3 years now and I take care of them regularly when they go out for the night or leave town. In addition I occasionally sit for family friends who have a Yorkie and used to watch a neighbor’s cat when she was still with us. Most animals find me agreeable and I try to be consistent and loving with any younger ones so that they’re shaped into the best possible pets. “Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”

She met for a meet and greet and asked plenty of questions to help her understand Rosco’s routines and behaviors, as well as ensure he got along with her pup Mindy. Lynn kept me updated with timelines and photos and was able to quickly redirect Rosco’s accident during his first night. He was well taken care of, got plenty of walks and clear guidance. I would highly recommend Lynn for your pup and look forward to booking her again in the future.”
About: I’ve grown up with cats and kittens my whole life and continued adopting them as an adult — animals have always been at the heart of my home! I’ve raised and trained a puppy from 8 weeks old, cared for up to 3 medium-sized dogs at a time, and have experience housing and caring for rabbits, birds, and reptiles too. 🐶🐱🐰🦜🐸🦎 Your pet will be welcomed into a warm, loving home where they’ll be treated like family! I’m also a pet parent myself — my 1-year-old pup and 9-year-old cat are both incredibly friendly with people and other animals and absolutely love making new friends. They’re always excited to welcome new furry guests! 🐕🐈 I believe pet sitting is so much more than just filling a food bowl twice a day — it’s about being real company for your pet. Surrounded by cozy blankets, their favorite toys from home, and plenty of love, your pet will feel comfortable and right at ease from the moment they arrive. “I booked Asia at the last minute for a long 6 days stay, and she was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly responsive and very understanding of my dog’s situation. She was also flexible and patient with my late-hour drop‑off and pick‑up, which I really appreciated. She took such good care of Coquita, and to my surprise, my dog even got along with her dog, which is something that never happens because Coquita usually isn’t friendly with other dogs. She kept me updated throughout the stay with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would definitely book with her again. She made a stressful, last‑minute situation feel easy and reassuring, and I felt completely comfortable leaving Coquita in her care.”
