Rex is a sensitive boy with separation anxiety, so we’re always a little nervous leaving him with someone new. But throughout his stay, we felt like he was in really good hands. About: I have a spacious backyard, no pets of my own, and the time to give each dog plenty of attention. I have experience with dogs of different personalities and energy levels and enjoy keeping them active with walks, playtime, and plenty of backyard time. I work from home with occasional office visits, so I’m around the house most of the day and can give your pup plenty of attention. My schedule is pretty flexible, with time for walks, backyard play, and regular breaks throughout the day. I’ll make sure their routine stays consistent while you’re away, with plenty of time for naps, playtime, and lounging. I keep my home clean, calm, and dog-friendly, with a spacious backyard for safe play and fresh air. I’m also careful about introductions, feeding, doors and gates, and keeping dogs supervised when needed. About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

About: I’ve cared for many different kinds of pets since high school. Just in the last two years I’ve learned a lot about dog behavior as my husband and I have adopted two pups of our own. They are both around 2. I love to play and teach them as we are all growing together as a family. I had a dog in high school as well and walked her everyday. I also helped care for our kitties, as we had a few growing up. We also have three kitties now whom we love and play with everyday. Pets are like kids, they all have their own personalities and it’s fun to learn who they are just like people. I’m currently working an odd schedule and it’s been quite slow. Would be nice to make a little extra cash while helping someone else exercise their pup, or take care of them. I like to let pets get to know me and some need more time than others. Depending on the pet they may come to greet me or hide. It’s best to let the pet approach me first when they are ready. I like to use treats for commands, rewards, and/or bribes. Pets love to play and I am good at that! Outside is a little more dangerous as you never know what another person’s dog is like. I usually avoid strange dogs and anything that I see could be harmful. I like a close leash to make sure pets don’t eat strange things on the ground and I can watch them closely to look out for something before they get to it. Pets are quick and you have to see it before they do!

About: I pet cared for my family and friends when they go out of town. I also have pet cared for two liters of golden doodle puppies. I have a very flexible schedule when it comes to pet care. I'm a current student talking online classes. Open to weekends and holidays if needed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner's care instructions closely. I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise and attention, and stay in a safe, clean environment. I pay close attention to their behavior and comfort thought the time I will be watching them. If I am in a clients home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and maintain the pet's normal routine. Safety is my top priority, so I always use secure leashes during walks, keep doors and gates closed, and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations.

I am available all evenings and mornings and have time in between work to check on pets in the afternoon.
