“Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”

Robin and Dan suggested a meet and greet and then a trial stay so that Coco would get to know them before leaving her there for a longer period. She went above and beyond for us, bringing in our packages, taking litter out to the trash and even vacuuming around the litter box. We are just so happy our kitties were in such good hands. About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life caring for many different breeds and personalities. Most recently I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback but have also had Labradors and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in the past. I work from home and am only gone for a 1-3 hours during the day. My wife works from home and will be with the dog to keep them company. I have 2 kids aged 2 and 4 who are home after 5:30pm and all day on the weekend I have a fenced in yard with grass and plenty of room for the dog to roam. About: I love playing with dogs! They are so fun to play with. Of course, I do make sure they are well fed and that they’ve gone on their walks. I like to make sure their feeding area is clean so that they don’t pick any germs or parasites and get sick. If they have medication to take, I will happily give it to them without any fear of them potentially biting me or being a bit aggressive. I am free at various times. I do attend university, so I may be unavailable at certain times. However, I am happy to work with you and your pet at whatever time is best. I have a dog walking group from 11a.m -1p.m. Monday-Friday. The rest of the time I'm available. I have a house with a yard . The doggies have their own room with a couch and a loveseat and lots of doggy beds and soft blankets. I often fall asleep right in the middle of them :) . They have plenty of toys and love when they stay at Aunt Lisa's!
About: Hello! My name is Tabatha and I've taken care of dogs for the past 10 years outside of having dogs myself for my whole life. I’ve used Rover for my dog too, so I understand the level of care pet parents look for! I also foster dogs from local shelters from time to time so I’m used to working with all kinds of pups. I recently started working from home more so I have more availability to hang with your pup. :) I currently work from home on the days I’m available & love to take the dogs out for a romp in the yard or walks in the neighborhood. There’s a doggy door to my fenced backyard so they can also come & go as they please. :) I have a fenced in yard and am familiar with walks and parks in my area. I also love playing and engaging pets with toys and training.

Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”

“April and Josh took care of our Charlie so well. Charlie is a high energetic Labrador with too much of separation anxiety and we were really worried to leave him for 2 nights. We did a meet & greet the day before, and Charlie got instantly comfortable. Their dog Boba is very lovable and gentle. Julia provided updates on how he was doing which helped ease my anxiety as well. She spent so much time with him and provided training. When I picked him up she spent the time to share what she was working on and ways I can continue to support him with obedience training as well. Looking forward to using her for my upcoming vacation. About: I have only pet-sat for friends doggos and cats in the past. Now that we are in a bigger place with a small yard, I’d love to work with you and your dogs. I will follow your directions and love your doggo right. I have had several Ridgebacks and Dobermans, a greyhound, and a viasla in my life and now love my two small ones - a rat terrier mix and a Pinchiweenie. I work from home and my desk is downstairs right by the back door so the door is open all day for my pets to go out as they please. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for nice walkies around my neighborhood which has lots of grassy areas. I have time throughout the day for walks if needed and I make a point to have playtime with balls or toys throughout the day. We live just a few minutes from Oakland Airport in an 2 story townhome with a small (20 ft x 20ft), fully enclosed yard with areas for potties. It has great morning and early afternoon sun and I always have beds outside for sunning. The door is open for them to goes out as they want. We allow our pets in the couch and I office downstairs to keep an eye on the doggos. I have several water bowls around for hydration. I feed my girls a combination of kibble and homemade dog food, so “special meals” are not an issue for me.
