About: My preferred first name is Bear. I have 5+ years experience volunteering in rescue shelters with both dogs and cats and I’ve definitely developed a knack for befriending anxious/shy animals. I’ve also worked professionally as a dog bather working with dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience leash training dogs and training a few basic commands. I’ve done a lot of cat sitting as well (in homes with up to 11 indoor cats!). I’m currently in school pursuing a nursing degree. About: My personal approach to dog care is grounded in genuine care for their well being. Working with my clients I provide prompt communication to ensure your dog is safe, happy, and healthy! Growing up my family had a beautiful 30lb dog that I helped care for from a puppy to old age. Being a part of this process has shown me how to support dogs in each stage of life from rambunctious puppies (structure, training and enrichment) to easing the aging process (special diet, new steps to climb onto the couch, shorter walks etc). Depending on the activity needs of your pup, I’m happy to provide daily walks or short runs (1-3 miles). I'm currently taking a gap year so I have plenty of time for your pups! I'm available weekdays and, with advance planning, can provide housesitting through weekends as well. I live in a single family home with three dogs. However, our family dogs like their space, and it is not available for dog boarding.

About: My pet care experience includes looking after cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters. I'm happy to maintain litter boxes, take dogs on long walks and play fetch, spend time with cats, administer pills and medications to any animal (even if they are not excited about it), and provide pets and scritches whenever needed I'm currently working 8-4:30 with open availability every early morning, evening, and weekend from now until June 6! During the summers, my availability will be completely open! I am experienced caring for pets in other people's homes, but unfortunately not in my own because I have two rescued cats of my own. I love taking dogs on walks, feeding and spending time with cats, and looking after all types of animals in your home!

“Johnatan took care of my dog for 2 weeks. He’d feed her and walk her twice a day. He was always respectful and kept me posted about my dog’s activities. He washed the linens before departing and even gave my dog a quick bath (he forgot the blow-drying part though). As much as I’d like to give him 5 stars, there’s still room for improvement as he forgot to leave the sliding door open for the dog to go outside leading to the dog peeing and popping inside of the house. He sometimes took 8+ hours to get back home and a couple of nights he wasn’t able to return at all and my dog slept alone. The latter due to he working part time at a place located 1 hr away from our home. Overall, a thrustful boy who just needs to get more experience.”
