About: I am a veterinary technician with 16 years of experience providing skilled, compassionate care for pets of all ages. I specialize in senior and medically inclined pets, in-home boarding, medication administration, and creating a calm, safe, nurturing environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. I work Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and if a pet needs to accompany me to work for continued care or supervision, I can safely accommodate this. When I’ve stayed with pets, they get a walk before I leave for work and after I get home. I don’t take jobs too far away from my area during the week. I wouldn’t want to leave my own pet alone for more than I needed to, let alone someone else’s pet. My preference is to work with dachshunds, American bull terriers and cat. If I’m available, I’d love to sit for you! My small dachshund has a crate he sleeps in and a decent back yard. I will adhere to all instructions from the owners for their pets. About: Thank you for considering me to be your dog’s home away from home! I have over 8 years of experience caring for my childhood dogs, along with caring for dogs outside of Rover. I have experience with taking care of dogs as young as 2 months old and as old as 16 years old. With my experience I understand that all dogs are different and need special care and attention. Being away from your dog, and your dog being away from you can bring a lot of anxiety for the dogs as well the owner; but I am more than happy to help ease the anxiety and make sure your dog is loved and care for and receiving all the attention they need while you are away. Although I don’t have a yard, I am walking minutes away from the beach, and parks nearby. I work from home Monday-Friday which will allow me to keep a close eye on your beloved fur baby; and will also allow more flexibility for drop off and pick up. I am able to provide your fur baby at least 3 walks/day (Morning, noon, evening). Depending on your preference, I can send an update once or twice (morning and evening) a day. I have experience working with senior dogs therefore I am familiar with administering medication if your dog has any medications they are taking.
About: I began caring for pets at the age of 8, starting with my two cats, fish, and a bird. I am available to House sit - although I don't know how to reflect that on the website. I actively practice positive reinforcement obedience training. I prefer to care for pets in their own homes, since I live in a small place.
