About: I am a veterinary technician with 16 years of experience providing skilled, compassionate care for pets of all ages. I specialize in senior and medically inclined pets, in-home boarding, medication administration, and creating a calm, safe, nurturing environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. I work Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and if a pet needs to accompany me to work for continued care or supervision, I can safely accommodate this. Evenings, overnights, weekends, and Mondays are fully dedicated to pet care, boarding, medication administration, and attentive companionship I provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment in my apartment with a large, secure outdoor courtyard for supervised exercise and enrichment. The building has elevators and multiple exit points, allowing for safe, controlled movement during potty breaks, walks, and emergencies. When I’ve stayed with pets, they get a walk before I leave for work and after I get home. I don’t take jobs too far away from my area during the week. I wouldn’t want to leave my own pet alone for more than I needed to, let alone someone else’s pet. My preference is to work with dachshunds, American bull terriers and cat. If I’m available, I’d love to sit for you! My small dachshund has a crate he sleeps in and a decent back yard. I will adhere to all instructions from the owners for their pets. About: I began caring for pets at the age of 8, starting with my two cats, fish, and a bird. About: Thank you for considering me to be your dog’s home away from home! I have over 8 years of experience caring for my childhood dogs, along with caring for dogs outside of Rover. I have experience with taking care of dogs as young as 2 months old and as old as 16 years old. With my experience I understand that all dogs are different and need special care and attention. Being away from your dog, and your dog being away from you can bring a lot of anxiety for the dogs as well the owner; but I am more than happy to help ease the anxiety and make sure your dog is loved and care for and receiving all the attention they need while you are away. Although I don’t have a yard, I am walking minutes away from the beach, and parks nearby. I work from home Monday-Friday which will allow me to keep a close eye on your beloved fur baby; and will also allow more flexibility for drop off and pick up. I am currently working full time remotely which allows me more flexibility with accommodations. Please send me a message for any scheduling accommodations you may need. I am able to provide your fur baby at least 3 walks/day (Morning, noon, evening). Depending on your preference, I can send an update once or twice (morning and evening) a day. I have experience working with senior dogs therefore I am familiar with administering medication if your dog has any medications they are taking.
About: I am very attentive to the needs of your pets, especially if they are older and slower, but I also enjoy energetic puppies and pets that need some training and just need some positive re-enforcement. I am available to House sit - although I don't know how to reflect that on the website. I actively practice positive reinforcement obedience training. My schedule is open now in general but I may do a retreat every so often. I nearby in the Bay Area, my schedule is more flexible. I prefer to care for pets in their own homes, since I live in a small place. I am attentive to the needs of the pet and if I see that the pet needs exercise, I make sure they get sufficient exercise through their regular routines.

I needed a last min booking and Stephanie truly went above and beyond to help accommodate and give my dog a great time. She exposed my pup to some new activities, like bike riding, which he loved!! It was also my pups birthday when she took care of him and she even gave him a little homemade peanut butter lick mat to celebrate. “I could not be more pleased and appreciative of how well Kristen and Ryan took care of my Solo. This is the longest I have been out of town in a while and I wanted Solo to be in a comfortable and secure place and with people that will look after her as if she was their own. Kristen and Ryan did that for sure. They kept me well informed of how Solo was doing and it really looked like Solo enjoyed her time with them. “Jesse is incredible with our two little pups. Her adventures with them make me and hubby so envious and they are always tired and happy after staying with Jesse. Jesse will go the extra mile to make your pups and you as the owner, comfortable. She answers questions quickly and lots of photos so you can feel that your pups are in good hands. Only downside (which is not a negative at all) is she is so popular that I have to book my vacations more in advance!”

I had a few specific instructions for my pup’s stay, and not only were they followed perfectly—they even offered helpful suggestions and kept me updated with pictures and videos the whole time. “Hy and Arlo were great sitters for our pup during a long vacation. It was his first time staying for a long period of time somewhere unfamiliar and Hy put us right at ease. Right off the bat, they seemed very comfortable with our pup and very confident around dogs generally, and pup took right to exploring their spacious home with a nice, fenced in backyard. Our dog is dog-reactive and they had ideas for best routes to walk him in their neighborhood. During our trip, they were able to use their intuitiveness to troubleshoot some barking at night. When we picked him up, we could tell he took a real liking to Hy while we were gone. Thanks Hy and Arlo for taking such good care of our guy while!”
“Natasha took good care of Kona and gave us a detailed update multiple times with photos for the night we had Kona over at hers. She understood his personality and was able to help him get familiar with his new environment quick and be a snuggle buddy that he is.
