About: I have four wonderfully chaotic pets of my own (3 cats named Pumpkin, Grapefruit, and Juno, and one large dog named Stella), and have been with all but Juno since they were babies! I'm a Stanford student looking for pets to care for and keep me company as I work. I have house-sit, cat-sit, and dog-sit for neighbors and friends, and am excited to meet your furry friends! I enjoy waking up early and getting outdoor time in, and would love to walk or jog with your pets both in the morning and afternoon if they'd like! Since I'm working remotely, I'll be in the home for a good part of the day and will be able to keep an eye on everyone :) I recognize the privilege I have to be a guest in another's home, and treat spaces with as much (and honestly, more) respect and love as I would my own!
“Alexis did a wonderful job taking care of my cat. I really appreciated the good communication, daily detailed updates, and pictures. Also appreciated that she stopped by beforehand to meet us and get to know my kitty's routine and needs. Highly recommend!”

About: Experienced pet owner, animal lover, dog walker and pet sitter. I love to go for runs and would be happy to take your dog running with me. Comfortable with any size and temperament dog or cat. Excited to bring some love to your pets! I’m currently working part-time so I am flexible on care schedules. I love to go on walks around the neighborhood and am a reliable worker! I am happy to follow any requests for care of pets within your home. I am respectful, clean and caring of all animals I work with.
About: When it comes to dogs, I've got experience with every stage of life—from the energy of a bouncing puppy learning its first commands to the gentle, watchful care of senior dogs who need extra comfort and support. My secret? I tune in to each dog's unique personality and needs. I’m that person who will sit with a shy pup until they feel safe, or go on an extra-long walk for high-energy dogs who need to burn off steam. And if you've got a clever escape artist or a curious troublemaker, I’m not afraid to get creative! I’ve trained dogs to master basic commands, helped socialize pups for better behavior, and used enrichment activities to keep clever minds active and engaged. 🦴 My goal is to leave every dog not only happier but a bit wiser (or at least more tired!) than when we started. Simply put, I’m not just a dog sitter. I’m the friend who’ll show up with treats, patience, and a heart dedicated to making each visit as enriching as it is fun. Because to me, every pup is family. 🐾 Pet care is woven right into my everyday life, making it easy for me to provide attention and love throughout the week! With my flexible schedule, your furry friend will rarely be left alone and can enjoy a homey, cozy atmosphere all day long. I’m in school, but my afternoons are wide open for playtime, walks, and one-on-one attention. 🐕 Once I'm home, I focus fully on their needs—whether it’s burning off some energy with a game of fetch, a walk around the neighborhood, or simply some cuddle time on the couch. Weekends? Even better! I have all the time in the world to make sure your pup feels right at home. With my adaptable schedule and dog-friendly setup, you can count on a reliable, warm environment that fits naturally into my routine, keeping your pet safe, happy, and thoroughly entertained! 🐾 Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Living in the Stanford dorms, I’ve created a pet-friendly space where dogs can feel right at home, even in a new environment. My dorm is cozy and inviting, with enough space for your pet to relax, play, or curl up for a nap. 🐶💼 Stanford’s campus is filled with beautiful common areas and plenty of green spaces, perfect for a daily dose of exercise and fresh air. Whether it’s a peaceful walk through tree-lined paths or a playful romp on a nearby lawn, your dog will have a chance to explore and enjoy the outdoors in a safe, controlled way. 🏞️ I’m mindful of routines and safety practices, so your pup will always have the structure they need to feel secure. Whether it’s managing mealtimes, sticking to established commands, or simply offering reassuring attention, I make sure every dog feels right at home. You can trust that your pet will not only be safe but will also be showered with all the love and care they deserve. 🐾
About: I’ve started a nonprofit that supported a local animal shelter through student visits, and shadowed many vet surgeries, procedures and animal care. I’ve had a dog most of my life and love animals. I work in research full time but half of my work can be remote and flexible, so I’ll have lots of time to care/play with your pet! I like to make sure pets get lots of exercise and enrichment, I can go to different areas for dog walking since I enjoy going around the Palo Alto hills.
“Natalie was absolutely wonderful!! My girls (Romy and Michele, two very felonious felines) immediately warmed up to her and she loved them as if they were her own. Natalie was exceptionally communicative, took many pictures, and it was clear that she genuinely enjoyed being with my girls. I will DEFINITELY be using Natalie again, and I cannot recommend her in the strongest enough terms to any cat parent!”

“Alexandra was a great sitter for my 4mo puppy. She is a kind, detail-oriented, and carrying sitter. Our communication was timely and respectful. I’ll rebook her service for sure! And would recommend her to others.”

About: My experienced started 7 years ago, as I started walking friends and my family friends dogs. I have also walked faster and slower dogs as well as even a blind dog before and have continued ever since. I’m a full time college student with classes from Mondays to Thursdays. I can do afternoons on Tue/Thu, Wednesdays, and weekends whenever works. I can definitely make accommodations. I have a fenced backyard and I always keep an eye out on pets to make sure they are safe, happy, secure, all at the same time.
About: I bring a calm, safety-first approach and tailor each walk to the dog in front of me - age, energy level, temperament, and routine. I’m attentive to body language and triggers, and I prioritize positive reinforcement so your dog feels secure and has a great time. I am currently working part-time and so I have plenty of time to look after your dogs! Flexible and reliable to support your dog's needs. For dog walks, safety and trust start before we ever leave the door. I follow your routine closely and focus on secure handling, calm communication, and good situational awareness. For dog sitting, I respect your space, follow your instructions, and remain response to your dog's needs!
“Genevieve was very thorough and provided check-ins and followups in unclear situations (e.g. my cat has a medical condition and she was attentive and checked with me on his symptoms regularly). She also cleaned my apartment/countertops on the last day which I really appreciated!”

About: I cared for my dog for 14 wonderful years back in Seoul, and he taught me how meaningful patient, loving pet care can be. After moving to the U.S., I began caring for dogs again because I missed that connection so much. Friends and family have trusted me over the years with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’ve since adopted a rescue dog in New York who I love dearly—and who really enjoys the company of other dogs and cats. I work from home and I have a flexible schedule. My husband is a graduate student at Stanford. We both have a regular daily routine, and we love walking and hiking with our dog. I like to keep my clients updated with multiple daily pictures/videos. If anything comes up, I will alert immediately and in emergency situations I will take the pets to the designated vet if we discuss to do so prior to boarding/sitting.
“This was my first time hiring Rachel to care for my pet, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and detail-oriented when it comes to caring for my cat. I was especially touched by the thoughtful extras—a cute photo of my cat, a handwritten card, and some lovely stickers. Everything felt so personal and heartfelt. I’m very satisfied with her care and will definitely book with her again!”

About: I’ve cared for cats for over 3 years and absolutely love spending time with all animals, especially dogs. I’m gentle, patient, and reliable, and I follow routines carefully. I enjoy keeping pets happy and active, and I always follow instructions to ensure they’re safe and comfortable. I’ll treat your pet like my own and provide regular updates so you can feel confident and at ease. I’m more than happy to make room in my routine for your pets—they’re a joy to be around, and I’d love to spend my free time caring for them. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in my client’s home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I follow your routines carefully—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I give pets plenty of attention, keep their space clean, and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. My goal is to make their time with me feel familiar and stress-free.
About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.
About: Hi, I’m Paula! I know that in the Bay Area, our pets aren’t just animals, they’re family. I’m sure I’ll be able to help you take care of your most precious baby!! I have a fence yard at home for those pups and kitties that need to stay over night! Evergreen Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Thank you again, Adriana, for taking such amazing care of Suri! Honestly, without any exaggeration, you are by far the best cat sitter we’ve ever had. It was so clear how comfortable and happy Suri was with you over the past few days, something that doesn’t come easily for him. That really says everything about how caring and attentive you are. We truly appreciate all the love and effort you put into taking care of him, and it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely love to have your help again in the future!

We had a wonderful experience with Anastacia.. she took great care of our cat and dog, kept us updated with the cutest Rover Cards and made us feel confident and comfortable while we were away. We would definitely love to have her pet sit for us again and recommend her to others!

Rachel C. was amazing. She is 100% trustworthy. She had great reviews, and they were right. I had some family come from out of town, and I needed someone to drop in on my puppy, who was 3.5 months old. I splurged and booked 2 hours each day at different times, so that I could schedule the times when she would come (2 one-hour sessions). She came to visit before confirming. My puppy loved her! Rachel sent so many photos and videos. I booked her for a few days in a row, and Rachel came when she said she would. It was so nice and such a relief to find Rachel, someone who is reliable. I was also comforted that she has a degree, and has lots of experience with animals. Rachel went above and beyond, by changing out and cleaning up puppy pads for me, and making sure my puppy had food, water. And most of all, that my puppy had some quality play time and snuggle time with a human. Thanks again for all your help! I will book Rachel again with any dog sitting needs.

Danielle responded to my request for dog sitting quickly, came by for a meet & greet within a few days and did a great job hanging with our pup Bo for the first time. She fed her, gave Bo her joint pill and lick pad while also giving her a bit of outside play time. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her in the future.

Andrea was a wonderful sitter for my 5mo puppy, Raphael. She was very diligent with everything I asked and handled his adolescent temperament with patience, professionalism, and care. Raphael felt comfortable around her, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. She is reliable, attentive, and clearly great with dogs. I would absolutely hire her again and highly recommend her services.

I had a great experience with Kenzi!! She was very responsive, easy to communication with, and clearly cared a lot. My cat loved her, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Everything went smoothly and I will definitely book with her again! Overall and all around great experience :)

Josh was awesome. He was able to build rapport with my dogs so quickly which is definitely not the easy. Josh was super communicative with lots of great pictures and videos. I could tell the dogs were very comfortable and happy with Josh. 100% will ask for Josh’s help next time we travel.
Cordigen was wonderful and went above and beyond for our two cats while we were traveling. We massively appreciated the pictures and updates about our cats but also how Cordigen regularly took in packages and made sure everything else was in order in our home. Thank you, Cordigen!!
