About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. I am restarting my pet sitting but have been volunteering with a local cat rescue for the last 4 years on a weekly basis. I can provide exercise, play time, food, and administer medications. I am currently a devoted cat mom to two Cornish Rex cats. I am currently working part-time from home, so I have ample time to accommodate your pets schedule. I am also available to spend time in your home for pets who have more social needs while their owners are away. I have a fenced yard and close access to a large dog park for hosting dogs at my home. About: Besides working my morning job I love to take care pets. I used to pet care couple years and have helped my aunt with her 3 dogs that needed daily walks! I always took care of them as if they were my own! I also have experience with elderly dogs who needed more attention and needed to be given medication daily. I enjoy going outside long or short walks and it’s always great to have a walking partner! I have a one full time job, so this would be 8 hour shifts. I mostly work early in the morning. Right after arrival at their house, my dogs started to enjoy the scent of different dogs in their fenced yard under the redwood trees. It was like going to a dog park and socializing with different dogs. At pick up time, we asked Siobhan and Guillermo if they can care for them again on our next trip away from home.”
