About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. My family's current pets are quite needy, so I am used to frequent walking and particular routines. However, I'm also happy with a more relaxed dog. About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who had just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. About: I live with my wife, baby girl, cat, and dog in Palo Alto. At home, I am the CPO (chief poop officer). I've experience with administering flea medicine for cats and dogs. I make sure the pets have food and water. I've trained my current and past dogs (sit, stay, go home, come, leave it, look at me, and other commands). I am responsible and clean up after the animals whether it's poop or vomit. Furry animals make me happy. I'm extroverted, so I am also social and easy to communicate with. I can care for your pet as long as I'm available. I've a flexible work schedule, and am on holiday for two weeks starting the week of Christmas. I have a cat and dog that likes to run out of the door, so I am careful when going in and out of the house. I'd do the same for you. I make sure they've food and water. If the dog goes on a hike where there are tall grass, then I'd check for ticks after the walk and use a tweezer to remove the tick if needed. If the cat or dog has its tail between its legs, then I'd approach slowly and walk around them to not make them too uncomfortable. If the cat's tail is up and approaches, then I give him/her a scratch on the head or chin. If dog's tail is wagging, then I'd definitely pet him/her. If the pet has dietary restrictions, then I will follow the owner's dietary guideline.

I make sure to make their time away from you as close to their daily routine as possible. I make sure to know their likes and dislike to make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. There are some dogs that do not feel good in loud and busy areas. So I make sure to go on walk them in quieter places. Also, if I am house sitting some prefer to co-sleep and I am comfortable doing so. Every pet care experience is catered to your and your pets liking :)

About: I've been a large dog owner for most of my life, but I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Ready to meet the unique needs of every pup, and I come with some basic pet training experience. While I'm here for the summer (May-July), I have complete flexibility throughout the week and weekend. I have no qualms taking them out early in the morning or later at night (around 7AM-10PM depending on the location). Although I'm based in Palo Alto, I am more than willing to cycle or drive to locations throughout the peninsula! I'm most experienced offering the basic services of walks (usually several a day, can range anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the needs of the dog), feeding, and playing in the yard or at the dog park. I'm also comfortable with basic training, washing, and watching them overnight. While I wouldn't be able to bring any dogs to my own home, I am more than happy to house sit and stay with them overnight.
