About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was 10. I've cared for everything from toy breeds to large breeds, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for years to walk, feed, play with, and check in on their pets. Every size and energy level is welcome here, including puppies and senior dogs, and I'm happy to give oral medications on schedule (I don't administer injections). Safety comes first: dogs stay leashed on walks, your instructions get followed to the letter, and I make a point of knowing where the nearest emergency vet is. My afternoons are flexible, which makes me a great fit for midday and after-work walks and drop-in visits. You'll hear from me on every single visit - photos, our GPS-tracked route, distance covered, and notes on how your dog did, because I'd want that same peace of mind. Let's set up a quick Meet & Greet so your pup and I can get acquainted first. My afternoons are flexible, so weekday middays and after-work hours are when I'm most available for walks and drop-in visits, and weekends are wide open. I keep my Rover calendar updated daily and reply to messages within minutes. For regular clients, I'm glad to hold a standing weekly slot on the same days and times each week so your dog's routine stays predictable. Most of my care happens in your home, so respecting your space comes first. Written instructions get followed exactly, doors and gates stay secured, everything is left the way I found it, and your address and entry details are never shared with anyone. On walks, dogs stay leashed the entire time, I stick to routes I know well, bring water on warm days, and check paws and coat afterward. Before the first visit I make sure I have your vet's contact information and the location of the nearest emergency clinic. After every visit you'll get photos and a written recap, so you always know exactly how your dog is doing.

About: Hi! I’m Ally, an animal lover with professional animal care experience ranging from pet boarding facilities to the Oakland Zoo. My approach is calm, attentive, patient, and individualized to each animal. Animals have always been a central part of my life. I became vegetarian as a child because of my love for animals, and that value continues to guide both my personal and professional life today. Professionally, I previously worked at a pet boarding facility where I handled client communication, maintained veterinary and care records, administered medications, monitored feeding and intake, and provided daily hands-on animal care. About: We’re an engaged couple living in East Palo Alto and looking for more opportunities to spend quality time with animals! We’ve been trusted dog and cat sitters for friends and family for years, and recently decided to give Rover a try. About: I grew up surrounded by dogs thanks to my dad, who is a veterinarian and ran his own animal hospital in Europe. From a young age I loved helping out at the clinic, learning how to care for animals and building a natural connection with dogs of all kinds. I will be based in Stanford starting mid-September! When I care for your pet in your home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after in their own environment. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific instructions you provide. I make sure they always have fresh water, plenty of exercise, and time for play and companionship, not just quick visits. If your dog needs medication or any special care, I’m attentive and careful to follow directions closely. I also keep their space clean and make sure they’re relaxed and settled while you’re away. About: Hello! I’m Samaria and I am old to dog-sitting but new to Rover. I’ve loved dogs my whole life so I thought I’ve taken any opportunity to dogsit growing up. I’ve lived in Redwood City my whole life and have cared for my older sister’s four active dogs (three huskies and one terrier mix) whenever she’s out of town, for years (recently for 10 days straight?. I have taken them on walks, checked on the house and stayed overnight when there were fireworks to keep them calm. I’d love to give peace of mind to busy families and make a new fur friend. I’m very flexible and looking forward to meeting new puppers! If you have any questions or want to talk about any specifications, message me! I work full time remote so I walk, feed, and play with the dogs in breaks and even after my virtual work hours. Depending on the needs of the dog, I’ll move thing around. I am available to home sit, do check-ins, or just daily walks. I do not have a reserved space in my home that fits more dogs.
