“Kimberly is great- Emmy loves her! She makes traveling so much easier, and she takes adorable photos of Emmy with the zoomies, playing hide-and-seek, and curled up looking cozy. Couldn't be happier!”

“Stephen was my first “professional” dog/house sitting hire and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my and my 3 spoiled rescue dogs, each with their own quirks and love languages. If he’ll have us, we’d happily hire him again.”

“Another amazing pet sitting experience with CJ!! Our shepherd Ellie absolutely loves him and when we came home, she looked at us like “who are you?” He takes great care of our girl and also leaves our house in impeccable condition. This time he even had to put up with house construction and had no complaints. He’s our go-to for pet sitting!”

“Austin was terrific. He stayed with our cat at our house for 10 days and managed to keep this needy critter happy. He stayed in touch with pictures and updates. It allowed us to travel in comfort, knowing our “baby” was in good hands.”

“Jeannette is amazing! I have used her both for drop by visits and pet/ house sitting. Her communication is excellent and she sends pictures with her updates and it was very clear how much my dog has bonded with her and he is very well cared for. House left spotless, too. I will definitely use Jeannette again!”

“Maria is the only person my pets will let in the house. She is wonderful, patient and communicative. We received photos and updates the entire time we were gone. If we go out of town again we definitely know who to call. We highly recommend Maria for all of your pet sitting needs.”

“Guilherme took care of our dog and cat during the Christmas and new years holiday. He sent many updates with photos, helped bring the garbage bins inside and collect mail and left our home more organized than when we left. Highly recommend and definitely hope to use his services again when we travel. Thanks Guilherme!”

“Ian is exceptional! They took wonderful care of our dog, cat, and home—everything was in great shape when we returned. Ian provided regular updates, allowing us to relax and enjoy our trip, knowing our pets and home were in good hands. I highly recommend booking with Ian!”
“Shalese is amazing! She made me feel super comfortable leaving my reactive dog for a few days and they got along so well! Will definitely book any time I need someone to watch my girl.”

“Trina was such a pro when caring for my doggie and house for a long weekend. Gracie loved her and everything was left in perfect condition. Will definitely be booking her again and again!”

“Amara is the best. When I returned from a weekend awa, my puppy, Loki, was relaxed and happy. Amara listened carefully to all of my instructions, and followed them all. When she had a question about them, she texted me. She also sent lots of photos. Could not have asked for more! I will book again! I would give 20 stars if I could. Ann”

“Emmy was happy and relaxed when I got home -- that's all I can ask for, really :) More broadly, Elissa was responsible and communicative. I will definitely be working with her again!”

About: What sets me apart is that I don’t believe in one size fits all pet care. I’ve raised my high-energy Husky, Zafiro, since she was a baby, which taught me firsthand the importance of patience, structure, exercise, and consistency, especially for puppies and active breeds. I’ve also raised my cat Rambo from a kitten, giving me a deep understanding of feline personalities and care, from playful to independent. From zoomy puppies to chill seniors, tiny fluffballs to big personalities, I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, energy levels, and special needs. Every pet is different, and I love learning what makes each one feel safe, loved, and confident. I care for every pet like they’re my own—because to me, they’re family and deserve nothing less. My schedule is super pet-friendly! I don’t start work until 10am, so mornings are perfect for walks or feedings. Lunch is flexible, so midday potty breaks are easy, and I’m free on weekends too. With my Husky Zafiro, I’m used to morning, afternoon, and evening walks and feedings—keeping your pet’s routine happy and on track is no problem! 1 Dog husky, 1 Cat. I make pets feel safe, happy, and right at home while you’re away. I keep them on their usual routine, so they stay comfortable and stress-free. Your furry friend can enjoy an extra crate, plenty of toys, and a private patio to relax, plus all the cuddles and attention they deserve.
“Arianna cares about my dogs and she even got new toys for my dogs during her stay. It’s easy to communicate with her and my dogs look extremely happy when I get back home.”

“As always it was a joy to have Korinne stay at my house and take care of my fur babies. She is professional, responsible, and does an exceptional job. She is my “go to” for both drop-in visits and overnights!”

“John did a fantastic job taking care of Fenway and Rosie! He communicated with me daily, sharing pictures and video clips. They were happy and well loved. More over, John left the house in exceptional condition.”

“Katie is amazing! I would give 6 stars if I could. She took amazing care of our dog Gus while we were away for the weekend. Katie kept us up to date with everything they were up to including a ton of great photos and videos! If you have an opportunity to work with Katie I would highly recommend it, we will be working with Katie any time we go out of town”

“She answered my last-minute request and took care of our two large German shepherds and one tiny dog perfectly - our dogs immediately fell in love with her, and usually they are an annoying, noisy bunch, but they behaved chill. Thank you so so much for taking care of them and I'd love to ask you to take care of them again.”

Midtown pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emma was wonderful. She stayed in our home for a week with our two dogs and did an excellent job keeping them on their normal schedule, giving medications on time, and spending lots of quality time with them. We really appreciated her care and attention and came home to two very happy dogs. We’d happily book her again.

Maria is the only person my pets will let in the house. She is wonderful, patient and communicative. We received photos and updates the entire time we were gone. If we go out of town again we definitely know who to call. We highly recommend Maria for all of your pet sitting needs.

This was my first time leaving my dog with a house sitter and Austin was amazing! I have a pitbull/Staffy who initially is extremely energetic and Austin knew just how to handle and care for her. He gave me constant updates and pictures of her while I was away and it put me at ease and I was able to enjoy my trip. I can’t recommend him enough.

Roy did a great job taking care of our dogs and home. He sent regular updates and photos, was conscientious and communicative with questions, and when we got back from our trip, he had stripped the bed, ran the dishwasher, and took the trash to the curb. Such small things add up!

Barbara is amazing!! She took care of our two dogs for a week and not only gave them lots of love and attention, she also is a fantastic communicator—-really listening to our instructions, asking questions when needed, and giving us updates. We are always nervous with one of our dogs because she is a little high maintenance, but Barbara figured her out right away. What brings this whole experience to the next level was that one of our dogs came down with a GI issue right before we left. We even considered staying home. She needed pretty much constant watching and woke up every couple of hours each night. This was obviously not what we had expected, but Barbara never complained and gave our poor sick girl all the love and care she needed, even making some special food for her and taking care of some meds. Barbara handled all of this flexibly and with confidence and professionalism. Thank you, Barbara! We hope you can watch our girls again when everyone is healthy!
Trina was once again wonderful with our two little dogs, including an elderly chihuahua who required more special care. I felt confident leaving them with her, which was a great help in itself. She sent helpful updates and photos, and we came home to happy, well cared for dogs and a tidy house.

Kari was wonderful with my puppy Nina! She is very calm and professional in her interactions with Nina and knows how to handle/correct her jumping up on people (and other behaviors a young dog still needs to learn not to do.) When we came home, Nina was sleeping and completely relaxed around Kari even though she had never seen her before that evening. And when Kari left, my little pup sat sadly in front of the door and couldn’t believe that her new friend just disappeared. This was the first time I had to leave my pup with anyone for the evening and I couldn’t be happier!

Guilherme took care of our dog and cat during the Christmas and new years holiday. He sent many updates with photos, helped bring the garbage bins inside and collect mail and left our home more organized than when we left. Highly recommend and definitely hope to use his services again when we travel. Thanks Guilherme!
