About: We are Farah and Tommy, an engaged couple living in Palo Alto and looking for more time with animals! We are trusted dog and cat sitters for our friends and family, but we recently thought to give Rover a try. Message us if your pet needs some extra love and attention while you take care of yourself! One of our favorite things to do is go on walks together. We always joke and say we should be pet owners, and we probably will have our own one day. We walk daily during our lunch breaks and each evening after work. We’d love to take your pet with us and explore new neighborhoods! We live in a house with a private fenced backyard. Marina was amazing taking care of our dog! She communicated with us throughout her time caring for our dog and made sure we were kept in the loop with a lot of pictures. Marina followed our care instructions perfectly and gave our dog extra attention and care right after we left because she was a little anxious. Genny was fantastic. She gave our dog 10-star care in the most loving and capable way as we dealt with a medical issue. We were so grateful to have Genny taking care of Sasha. She sent photos and videos, texted and called us with updates. Genny took great care of the house too.
Kimberly stayed in my home and took wonderful loving care of my dog, Comet, while I was on vacation for 13 days. Kimberly sent videos of Comet and responded quickly to my text messages. Maria was great. I believe this was our third booking with her, and we will certainly book again. She is very sweet with our dog and our dog loves her. Maria is very communicative and reached out well in advance to let us know her plans had changed as we had booked her fairly far in advance. She takes great care of our house. We feel secure leaving our beloved pup and our house with Maria to care for.
Jeanette took exceptional care of Bella while we were out of the country for two weeks. She treated Bella as if she were her own, followed her routine carefully, and kept us updated regularly with messages and photos. Knowing Bella was in such caring and capable hands gave us complete peace of mind, so we were able to truly enjoy our trip without worrying. Jeanette also went above and beyond by collecting our mail and watering our houseplants, which we really appreciated. When we returned, Bella was happy, healthy, and clearly very comfortable with Jeanette. In fact, Bella seemed to miss her after she left, which speaks volumes about the wonderful bond they formed during those two weeks. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter and would absolutely trust Jeanette with Bella again
Is there a 6-star option? There should be! Stephen did an excellent job of caring for my dog and my house. From the pre-stay visit, to the gentle and appropriate reminders, detailed notes, and the charming and informative daily updates. Bonus: new skills and tricks were learned by my pooch! Stephen's gentle and calm approach -- superb!
Austin was phenomenal! Super communicative and helpful. I am so grateful for his excellent care of our 2 corgis. This was our first time using a sitter who wasn’t family, and Austin made the experience so easy from the initial meet and greet through the end of the sit. I will definitely book again the next time we travel!
Kendall is terrific. She cares and connected quickly with my pup. She is conscientious, offered to come and meet my dog before the visit. She asked questions about emergency plans, feeding, medications and her best schedule. She was tidy, punctual and helpful, even sending me photos and relaying my dogs attitude and energy level throughout her stay. I highly recommend Kendall - 5 stars!
We had an excellent experience with Julie and would highly recommend her.
