About: I had 3 small dogs when I was younger and they passed away due to old. I currently have two dogs, one is pit bull and husky mixed and a puppy Yorkie tierrier. I can care for your pet as long as I'm available. I've a flexible work schedule, and am on holiday for two weeks starting the week of Christmas. I have a cat and dog that likes to run out of the door, so I am careful when going in and out of the house. I'd do the same for you. I make sure they've food and water. If the dog goes on a hike where there are tall grass, then I'd check for ticks after the walk and use a tweezer to remove the tick if needed. If the cat or dog has its tail between its legs, then I'd approach slowly and walk around them to not make them too uncomfortable. If the cat's tail is up and approaches, then I give him/her a scratch on the head or chin. If dog's tail is wagging, then I'd definitely pet him/her. If the pet has dietary restrictions, then I will follow the owner's dietary guideline.

About: I've been a large dog owner for most of my life, but I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Ready to meet the unique needs of every pup, and I come with some basic pet training experience. While I'm here for the summer (May-July), I have complete flexibility throughout the week and weekend. I have no qualms taking them out early in the morning or later at night (around 7AM-10PM depending on the location). Although I'm based in Palo Alto, I am more than willing to cycle or drive to locations throughout the peninsula! I'm most experienced offering the basic services of walks (usually several a day, can range anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the needs of the dog), feeding, and playing in the yard or at the dog park. I'm also comfortable with basic training, washing, and watching them overnight. While I wouldn't be able to bring any dogs to my own home, I am more than happy to house sit and stay with them overnight.

“Oakley had a great time with Edward & Elisha this past week! They were amazing with the communication while I was in a different country - sent me updates, pictures and videos of Oakley playing with Rusty / other pups they had at their house as well as on walks. They were really organized with drop off (great list of what to bring) and have an amazing home for an energetic pup like Oakley. Will absolutely recommend them to anyone and we will for sure be scheduling more sleepovers with them for Oakley :)”
