âClara was amazing with our super energetic 10 month old puppy. She was very patient and took really good care of him. She was also very accommodating of my schedule and was willing to work around it. Guduchi looks forward to see his next stay with you.â

âThis was our second experience with Susan in just a monthâthis time for daycareâand it confirmed everything we already felt about her. The moment Mochiâs paws touched the grass, she knew where she was. She sprinted to the front door, then to the garage looking for Susan, then back againâat one point even trying to crawl under the gate to get to her! It was hilarious, heart-melting, and such a clear sign of how special Susan is to her. Mochi absolutely adores her. At pickup, Mochi was happy to see meâbut then ran right back to Susan for one last cuddle. It was priceless. Susan truly understands the perfect dog equation: a well-exercised + mentally stimulated + loved dog = a happy, content, and tired pup. Mochi was snoring the moment we got home! Whether you need daycare or an overnight stay, Susan is, without a doubt, the one.â

âThank you Ashley for taking great care of Koda. I know he enjoys his visits. I said to Koda, I know you like grandma and he was looking around the room. So I know he likes grandma. Thanksâ

âMy Siberian Husky has such a special bond with Fiona and her family! He runs to their door and is very impatient to go inside their house - his Tractive collar shows he gets hours of activity, and he always comes home tired and happy beyond what I could imagine. Definitely the best Rover weâve ever had!â

âUpon arrival, my dog was immediately friendly with Svetlana. On pickup, she was happy and seemed like she had a good time. Svetlana did a good job of sending updates/pictures throughout the day.â

âContinue to be so appreciative of Carolyn. She responded to a last minute request for all day care when we were really in a pinch. I was able to rest easy while our dog had an incredibly fun day. He is always so over the moon to see her. As a pet parent, it's so reassuring to see her true love and devotion for animals. Thank you again!!â

âCould not ask for a better dog sitting family! Their house is very dog friendly! They took exceptional care of my very energetic 6 month old Aussie puppy!...could not be happier with them...strongly suggest!â

âOur boy, Cedar did so well with Zcarina while when we came to town for our Granddaughters wedding. I wish we could take back home with us and know Cedar would also like that. I received numerous pictures of Cedar while he was in her care that showed just how happy he was with her. Cedar and I highly recommend Zcarina!!! Zacarina, thank you for giving my baby boy so much love and attention!â

âSneha provided excellent care for our dog today. She was very attentive to our pup and provided many updates and pictures! We appreciate her reliability and would absolutely bring back our puppy :)â

âWe had a wonderful experience starting with our initial meet to Sunayana and her family welcoming Shelby( our gsd mix) to her home. She was welcomed and taken care of with patience. We appreciated timely updates and beautiful pictures.â

âZi was amazing with Cotton! Cotton was a bit anxious at the start so Zi took her on a walk to calm her down and kept me updated on how things were going throughout the night. Cotton came back super happy đâ

âMariel took excellent care of our Schnoodle puppy (6 most old). He had just been neutered and had some specific needs as well as some undesirable behaviors. Mariel and her family (human and canine) were extremely patient and accommodating. I highly recommend her and would love to have her care for him in the future.â

April is super kind and accommodating. Luma came back home very happy and I'm very happy to have found her. She provided ample of pictures of her interaction with Luma which definitely gave me great peace of mind as Luma is a 9-month puppy experiencing his very first daycare session. I will definitely be requesting her again!

Susan was wonderful with Charlie! This was our first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous leaving him with someone new, but Susan immediately put us at ease. She is such a sweet and caring person, and Charlie warmed up to her quickly. Susan sent updates and adorable photos throughout the day, took Charlie on walks, gave him lots of attention, and made sure he was safe and comfortable in her home. She was very responsive, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions about Charlieâs routine and preferences. Her calm, loving energy truly stood outâ¤ď¸ Charlie came home happy and relaxed, and I absolutely trust Susan to watch him again. She is reliable, kind, patient, and cares for pets like family. I highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for a sitter who will give their dog the love and care they deserve.

Continue to be so appreciative of Carolyn. She responded to a last minute request for all day care when we were really in a pinch. I was able to rest easy while our dog had an incredibly fun day. He is always so over the moon to see her. As a pet parent, it's so reassuring to see her true love and devotion for animals. Thank you again!!

Our pupâs first day staying with Dyan and her family. He sure seemed to have a good time. Dyan sent several pics and videos of Kitsu on a walk and playing with her kids. It was a âget to know each otherâ day. Heâs going to stay with them again next week while weâre away. Dyan is great with communication and following whatever requests we had for Kitsu.

Natalie was great! She followed Millieâs schedule and sent regular updates throughout the day. Millie had a wonderful time playing with Natalieâs dogs and came home happily exhausted. We really appreciate the excellent care Natalie provided and would happily book with her again.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mindy. She has been watching my golden retriever, Rosie, for the past few months, and today was her last day before Rosieâs surgery tomorrow and I truly donât know how I would have gotten through this time without her. From day one, Mindy treated Rosie like her own. She is kind, patient, incredibly reliable, and so attentive to Rosieâs needs. I always felt completely at ease knowing Rosie was in such loving and capable hands. Mindy kept me updated, made sure Rosie was comfortable and happy, and genuinely cared about her well-being. Having someone you trust during such an important and emotional time is priceless, and Mindy has been that person for us. I am beyond grateful for everything she has done for Rosie and for our family. Any pet would be so lucky to be cared for by her. I recommend Mindy wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Dublin commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
