I am retired and live alone and am available 24/7 for time with your dog. I live in a park like setting and am accustomed to walking 3 times a day and I have a goal of 10,000 steps per day, if required for the dog.

I have had dogs all of my life and consider them people. Often I’ve had two at a time. I have experienced puppies and older dogs at the end of their lives. I love them all though prefer mature dogs. I have also experienced all sorts of dog medical maladies and all kinds of medical treatments. I am currently a volunteer at the Tri Valley Animal Rescue.

Susan was wonderful with Charlie! This was our first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous leaving him with someone new, but Susan immediately put us at ease. She is such a sweet and caring person, and Charlie warmed up to her quickly. Susan sent updates and adorable photos throughout the day, took Charlie on walks, gave him lots of attention, and made sure he was safe and comfortable in her home. She was very responsive, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions about Charlie’s routine and preferences. Her calm, loving energy truly stood out❤️ Charlie came home happy and relaxed, and I absolutely trust Susan to watch him again. She is reliable, kind, patient, and cares for pets like family. I highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for a sitter who will give their dog the love and care they deserve.
Susan is a Terrific pet sitter! She kept us updated daily with pictures and highlights. She is an experienced dog lover who we felt very comfortable with watching our aging Frenchie🐶
So happy to have Susan watch our 2 Boston Terrier’s. We were in contact before and during their stay, she sent photos and nightly updates which I appreciated. She has many walking trails near her well kept home and a small outside area that the dogs loved to sun bathe. I would definitely trust Susan with our dogs next time we need help!
This was our second experience with Susan in just a month—this time for daycare—and it confirmed everything we already felt about her. The moment Mochi’s paws touched the grass, she knew where she was. She sprinted to the front door, then to the garage looking for Susan, then back again—at one point even trying to crawl under the gate to get to her! It was hilarious, heart-melting, and such a clear sign of how special Susan is to her. Mochi absolutely adores her. At pickup, Mochi was happy to see me—but then ran right back to Susan for one last cuddle. It was priceless. Susan truly understands the perfect dog equation: a well-exercised + mentally stimulated + loved dog = a happy, content, and tired pup. Mochi was snoring the moment we got home! Whether you need daycare or an overnight stay, Susan is, without a doubt, the one.
