Pet care experience
I'm known as the Pet Whisperer.
I've had dogs and cats my whole life, but I have also worked in animal welfare facilities caring for animals of all types (cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, mice, chinchillas) I"m on the board of an animal welfare organization, I have served as a cat adoption counselor and I am starting my own blog about the best ways to care for pets. The main reason I'm called the pet whisperer is because I talk in their language and animals just follow me. They sense that I think like they do vs how a human would think. I'm a big fan of all animals.

Bailey had a great time for 3 days we left him. He enjoyed walks and company of other dogs. We also recieved regular updates.
Our very shy rescue dog warmed up to her quickly. She provided excellent care and was very flexible in dealing with our chaotic schedule.
Carolyn did a great job with our dogs. She handled a Belgian Malinois and a German Shepherd combo like a pro!
Maverick Loves staying with Carolyn and we have peace of mind when he is with her.
Carolyn provided a warm, comfortable home for our pup and pampered her with lots of attention and care. Communication, updates, and photos were timely and appreciated! Carolyn is responsive and demonstrates a high level of care for the wellbeing and happiness of the pups.
Carolyn is truly incredible. From the moment Maverick—our 10-month-old pup—met her, she brought a sense of calm and command that he immediately responded to. He’s still young and was working through some anxiousness and fears of the unknown, and I honestly wasn’t sure how he would adjust while we were away. Over the six days he spent with her, his confidence transformed 100%. He went from whining and pacing to actually falling asleep on the short car ride home—a clear sign that the time he spent with Carolyn and the new habits she gently instilled helped him let go of so many worries. She gave him exactly what he needed: plenty of walks, car rides, and thoughtful trips to places with people to safely help him face his fears. These were things I didn’t think we could—or even should—do yet, but she handled everything with such expertise and intuition. I even learned a lot from this little trip. We’ve already decided she’s our primary caregiver whenever we’re out of town—maybe even for casual visits, because Maverick absolutely loved it there. Carolyn is amazing, and we’re so grateful to have found her.

Schedule
I'm currently working part time so have plenty of time to commit for pet care. I also am studying pet massage therapy so my pets get lots of petting

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a large home with 3 levels and fenced in backyard. I have a second fenced area within the backyard. I have two cats within the house but there's plenty of room to keep them separated if necessary.
A typical day
I love animals and talk to them constantly. I also like to stimulate their curiosity and get to their level of comprehension: I relate to animals on a deep level throughout the day.
