“Robin and Dan are very warm, caring and obvious dog lovers. They took Nora in with open arms and were very accommodating when it comes to her quirks. They sent many updates, photos and videos. I could tell Nora felt instantly at home with them and knew she would be well taken care of. Robin and I had thorough conversations before her stay on Nora’s specific needs and traits which mad me feel at ease. Nora was very happy and content when we picked her up and didn’t seem to want to leave! We would love for Robin and Dan to take care of Nora in the future”

“Sameer is superb. He truly loves and understands dogs and took such good care of our girl. His home and yard are beautiful which reflects a level of care and pride that shows in how he cares for the dogs. He sent photos every day and seemed to really enjoy the time with our dog and a few others he was sitting during the same week. He came highly recommended to us and we will certainly use him again.”
“Xue and her family were great! They provided a safe and loving home for Koda while we were away. She was professional and also proactive in providing us updates and pictures. I will for sure go back to Xue for any future boarding needs.”

“First time with Frank and Thao. They are very dog welcoming and make their home friendly and very inviting for the pls. They have an extra big back yard for lots of fun and dog running which I especially loved. Frank also walked my dog and his kids welcomed my dog into their bedroom at bedtime. Truely the entire family wants to participate.💕 I will definitely use them again!”

“Another 5 star stay for our Judah. We couldn't be happier with the depth of care provided. It is so wonderful to be able to relax while away from our pup knowing he's having an absolute blast. We loved seeing all the videos and photos and continue to greatly appreciate Carolyn creating a "home away from home" for our puppy.”

About: I have been privileged to share over three decades of my life in the companionship of dogs and cats. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brookshire
We will always be grateful to Sahar and her husband's care after we experienced every pet owner's greatest fear; a health emergency. My dog began to display alarming symptoms not long into his stay. The symptoms would be concerning for a dog of any age but especially serious for my senior dog. She notified me immediately with her concerns, consulted the Rover vet support, and kept me updated on his condition. While we were looking into the logistics on how I could return home, Sahar and her husband took my dog to the vet. Fortunately, his condition was not the worst-case scenario we had feared but something that was easily treated with medication. He went on to happily complete his stay with Sahar. While I hope nobody else will to go through the ordeal of a sick pet while traveling, it is comforting to know that there are sitters like Sahar who will get them the care they need.
Jing was very capable and conscientious in taking care of Patches and Oreo. Our elderly dog Patches needed special attention due to his age and also had to be given antibiotic medication due to an unexpected injury that occurred right before our trip and Jing accommodated that without any fuss.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
