“Leo was very comfortable at Mings. She provided regular updates, photos and videos proactively and was very responsive to any question or request. I'll definitely keep Leo with her again when the need arises.”

“Peter is a professional, organized, and thoughtful dog sitter. He kept us updated with regular texts and photos, and he and his family took the best care of our Goldendoodle. I could not recommend him more highly. Thank you, Peter, we look forward to the next time!”

“Daisy did an amazing job caring for our dogs while we were out of town. From the moment we picked them up, we could tell they had a great time-they came home happy, sleepy (LOL), and clearly well-loved. They got plenty of play time with Daisy's kids and their dog, which made it feel like a true family environment. Knowing our dogs were treated like part of the family meant everything to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Thank you so much Daisy and family for taking such great care of our pups! We highly recommend her and would absolutely book again!”

“Kosar was a fantastic sitter! She took excellent care of our dog, including multiple daily walks and frequent photo updates. We highly recommend her and definitely hope to use her services again in the future.”

“What a great family and dog sitters!!!!! The kids know hope to care and lead dogs. Hoada and Fawzi are warm, calm and welcoming. The trust and confidence in dog care is solid. A great spot for dog care!”

“Ying is a wonderful dog sitter. She took care of our 75lbs Shepard mix and sent us fun photos and generally cared about his well being. We hope she’s available the next time we need a sitter!”

“Trisha took wonderful care of my 8 y.o. Lab. He came home from a 3 night stay very happy and seemed like he had a nice time in her home. Great communication, easy pickup/dropoff, sent pics etc. Will use her again!”

“This was our first time using Rover, so we were nervous. But it was a great experience! Daisy spent four nights at Ruth’s house and, as the only dog, got lots of TLC! Thank you, Ruth, for keeping us posted and for the great pics - and for loving Daisy while we were away! She’ll be back, for sure!”

“Yu-Shu was the best decision I made for boarding my “old pup” Cookie last minute! Yu-Shu took exceptionally good care of Cookie, took her for walks, made sure she was fed and comfortable and provided several photo/text updates throughout the day. I would book again next time in a heartbeat!”

“Our 4 kitten have stayed at Mary’s place a few times, as usual she pay lots of care to them, not only feeding but also spent good amount of time with them. From the daily photos and videos we can see they basically treated it as home 🤣 Having Mary taking care of our cats was the only way we could enjoy our trips.”

“Susan was our first Rover sitter, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. After meeting a few sitters, our dog immediately connected with Susan—and since Mochi only gives cuddles to very special people, I knew she was the one. We boarded Mochi with Susan for a few nights while we were away, and she was incredibly attentive to her needs. She took her on daily walks, played lots of ball with her—Mochi is a serious ball-aholic—and, most importantly, loved her like her own. She also sent updates and photos, which meant so much to us. At one point, I even joked that she shouldn’t spoil Mochi too much or she’d go into Susan withdrawal when she got home… and honestly, she did the next day! Susan is an absolute gem. We highly recommend her without hesitation and are so grateful she made Mochi’s first Rover stay such a happy and memorable one.”

“Great boarding experience, really easy to communicate and build trust. From the beginning I had the feeling that they knew how to take care of a dog and I wasn’t wrong about it. Lola was happy to stay with them, which for me is the most important thing. I would definitely trust them again to take care of Lola.”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid. Unfortunately, my pet (who was the love of my life) passed away. She was a high-needs dog with extreme separation anxiety and leash aggression, so I have skills to handle that type of pet. From then until now, I have focused on raising my children. I miss the company of animals, and I am wanting to be around them! My kids love animals, so your pet would get lots of cuddles while you’re away! I’m a stay-at-home mom of three. Two of my kids are in school, and the other stays home with me. We have lots of time on our hands to attend to the needs of your pet! If boarding at my home: I have two yards that are completely fenced in. I also have three animal-loving children. We let animals on the furniture. Our home is their home ☺️ If dropping in while you’re away or doing walk: My days are fully open starting at 9am. With kids at home, things get busy again at 5pm. Drop-ins would need to be between those hours. I can also visit again after my kids go down for bed which is usually 7:30pm. My child loves stroller walks, so hopefully your pet does too! Having a pet myself, I know how important it is to make your baby feel as calm and regulated as possible while you’re away. Putting them with a loving and responsible caretaker while you’re away is not a decision taken lightly. I hope I can be that for you and your family.
“Thank you Dyan for the high level of care and attention provided to Leo! Appreciate the regular picture and video updates, so it feels like I’m not far away. I have the utmost trust and confidence for future dogsitting 👏”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Diablo
Jennifer and her family took great care of Yomi over the week and when we missed our flight home, she was able to take care of Yomi an extra day which we were very grateful for. Yomi looks like in great condition and we got daily updates and pics from her. Thanks so much and we will definitely be back again!

For our first experience with Rover, we couldn’t be more impressed by Marisa. From the moment she met our dog Bailey, we could tell our girl would be in great hands. It was immediately evident that Marisa loves dogs and that Bailey would be well taken care of while we were away. Marisa was proactive in sending us updates and in every photo, Bailey was active or cuddling, and looked so happy playing with Marisa’s dog Henri. We are so appreciative of Marisa and would absolutely recommend her to others feeling anxious about needing to leave their beloved pup!

Bhumi and her family were very kind and caring with our dog, Lambeau. They watched him for a week and gave him plenty of exercise. They were mindful to exercise him early or late in the day and keep him indoors on a few days when the temperatures rose pretty high. Bhumi sent me daily pictures of Lambeau and I could tell he was being well-cared for. We are very happy that he had a comfortable stay with them and would use Bhumi again for dog boarding!

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
