I'm a homeschooling mother of 4, so I'm home all the time with my children. All of our kids love and care for animals and I have personally have been fostering animals for the past 17 years. There is always someone home, whether it be me or my husband, with the kids, so potty breaks, walks, feedings, and playtime are all easy to accommodate.

We have over an acre of fenced in backyard that dogs love to run around in freely, while supervised by our family. There is also, close-by, a lovely path for dog walking around our home and are 1 minute away from a dog park if that is something you'd be interested in for your dog. While not necessary, we prefer crate trained dogs and can offer crate training if needed. For cats, there are two large rooms available that are only for cats with plenty of toys and scratching posts available to them. Unless coming together as pairs or more, each room will only house your feline friend, so they will not be sharing any space with other families' pets.

Please let us know in advance of any special needs cases, and we'll be happy to accommodate. Also, for the safety of your loved one(s) and our family, we would look forward to setting up a meet-and-greet with your pet prior to their first stay in our home.
A typical day
We are home all day, so after breakfast follows a daily walk, multiple potty breaks throughout the day, and no late feeding times (typically once in the morning and once for dinner, along with treats throughout the day), along with another late afternoon walk. We have a big 1 acre fenced in yard for your dog to run around in all day if preferable, or if your pet would rather sit on a couch all day, that's fine as well! Cats will have plenty of play time with our family as well as toys and scratchers available to them at all times.
