After meeting a few sitters, our dog immediately connected with Susan—and since Mochi only gives cuddles to very special people, I knew she was the one. We boarded Mochi with Susan for a few nights while we were away, and she was incredibly attentive to her needs. She took her on daily walks, played lots of ball with her—Mochi is a serious ball-aholic—and, most importantly, loved her like her own. She also sent updates and photos, which meant so much to us. About: I have had 2 cats, and one of them is currently 16 years old. She has hyperthyroidism so I treat this condition by administering an oral suspension twice a day. I have also fostered 2 cats, and 1 had asthma, so I learned to use a cat inhaler twice a day. “This was our first time having Daryl house sit and watch our cat Samantha. Daryl was extremely communicative and planning was a breeze. We got great photos of Samantha throughout his stay. We did a shorter stay to have Samantha get used to someone new as she has not been too good with new people lately. Overall things seemed to go very well and Samantha was even approaching Daryl by the end (big for us). He took his time to let her come to him but still kept up all her care! About: I have experiences with Senior care and basic training for puppies. I watch their body languages carefully to know when to pause a play and what they need from me :) Leia and I usually go for a walk in the morning, around 5 in the afternoon and quick bathroom break before going to bed. About: I’ve been a dog mom for over 30 years, and caring for pups is just part of who I am. My first dog was with me for 18 amazing years, and my second for 14. They were truly family! I love taking care of dogs all ages, but have a soft spot for senior dogs. I have a lot of experience with the extra care they need, like giving meds, keeping an eye on their health, and making sure they feel safe and loved. About: I always loved animals so much since I was little I wanted to become a vet until I found out how much science was involved...ha! My friends and family knew how much I loved animals that they would always go to me first to take care of their pets before bringing their furry family members to an animal daycare. I've watched over cats, birds, dogs (small and large breeds) and even helped a young Doberman mama take care of her beautiful 7 pup litter for 4 weeks until they were adopted at 6 weeks old. I also have a special love for horses, so I have taken care of horses but light work such as cleaning, riding, and restocking the hay. I work from home so I'm very flexible in terms of caring for animals. So during the day I can take them out for walks, cleaning, feeding, etc. I don't have any animals myself (yet) so if your fur baby is shy or uncomfortable around other animals, you don't have to worry about that with me. I also have a fenced yard with enough space for your animal to roam around...although I prefer to go to the pet owner's house as the animal will feel more comfortable in their own environment and also because my mom tends to have animal allergies, so for her comfort, I rather go to the owner's house.
About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, especially those who need patience, structure, and understanding. I have a strong background in caring for both young, high-energy dogs and senior pets who require a gentler, more attentive approach. Over the years, I’ve adopted and cared for shelter dogs, including one of my most meaningful experiences: transforming my 3-year-old German Shepherd who came from an abusive and neglected background. She was fearful, submissive, and untrained when I first brought her home. Through consistent training, positive reinforcement, and a calm, stable environment, she gradually became a confident, obedient, affectionate, and deeply trusting companion. She is now 15 years old and remains a living example of the patience and care I bring to every animal I work with. This experience has taught me how to read animal behavior, build trust with nervous or reactive dogs, and adapt care to each pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s helping a young dog learn structure and good habits or providing comfort and routine for senior dogs, I focus on creating a safe, loving, and balanced environment where every pet feels secure and understood. I pick up shifts bartending but I cant adjust my schedule around sitting others dogs. I will be free when needed so no worries there. I have a nice size balcony but that the dogs can hangout on if they would like but i also take my girl out often.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 8. Have helped my friends, family, and other people.I Enjoy going for a walk and playing. I can work part time and full time I’m available from Monday trough Friday but I can also make an exception to work on weekends. I am always watching over them, I also have a loving home where my family are good with pets. At clients home I’ll do the same thing, watch over them play with them, pet them, etc.
About: I have been walking and pet sitting for almost 15 years now, taking some years off after i gave birth to my son, i am very excited to be back on the trails hiking and walking my dog friends again! I am a full-time mommy of one, my husband and I own a small business locally to San Ramon as well. I walk dogs M-F between 915am and about 1230 PM and can walk as well in the afternoons between 3-5pm. I have a hike group that i hike T/TH at around 1030am for 45 minutes as well!! About: Your vacation should be a vacation—not a trip where you spend half your time wondering, “I wonder how my dog is doing?” 😄 My goal is simple: you enjoy your time away, and I make sure your dog is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ll follow their normal routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they get the walks, playtime, and couch time they’re used to. I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful. They’re family, after all. That’s why I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know they’re doing great—and you can get back to enjoying that margarita on the beach. 🍹 You can relax knowing your dog is safe, getting lots of attention, and probably having a pretty good vacation of their own. 🐾 I work remotely, so I’m home throughout the day and can easily work pet care into my normal routine. I take regular breaks to give the dogs attention, playtime, potty breaks, and walks rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. We also have a large yard—about 9000 sq. ft.—so there’s plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs, explore, and get some energy out. 🐶 The best part for you is that your dog gets a comfortable, home-like stay while you get to enjoy your time away without constantly worrying about what’s happening back home. I’ll keep their routine as normal as possible and send updates along the way, so you can relax knowing they’re getting plenty of attention. Great that you have come this far down reading my profile. About: I have been privileged to share over three decades of my life in the companionship of dogs and cats. Whether your pet needs walks or playtime while you’re away for the day, or a safe space for overnight care, I would be happy to love and pamper them as if they were my own. I have experience with pets of all ages and am comfortable administering oral and injectable medications, if needed. I also volunteer with NorCal GSP Rescue and have experience with post-surgery care. . I work from home M-F and have flexibility in my schedule. I am open to early morning or late night walks or drop-in visits in the event that you have an atypical work week. I have two pets in my home, a 12 yr old German Shorthaired Pointer (Sophie) and a 7 yr old Sphynx cat (Zelda). Both are friendly with other animals.
