About: Hi! I’m new to Rover, but I’ve lived with, taken care of, and travelled with dogs since I was a kid. I just moved to San Leandro to stay with family while I prepare for grad school, so sadly, my best boy, Finn, is not with me - that’s part of why I want to walk YOUR dog! I need my dog time. My experience with dogs includes backpacking, backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and other off-leash activities that demand awareness and attention to detail. When caring for an animal, their wellbeing is always in the forefront of my mind. All dogs deserve love, and that means providing appropriate care for them, whether they are an elderly dog with limited mobility, or a restless dog that needs rigorous exercise. I’m here to help you provide that for your companion when your schedule makes it too difficult. San Leandro is a beautiful area - what better way to explore it than to walk around with some pups? As a working musician, I currently have an irregular part-time schedule, and often I leave town to work for a few days at a time, so I will stay on top of updating my availability as soon as things come up! That said, I’m generally free most days, preferably from 9-5, but I can go earlier or later if necessary. I will block off days where I’m busy working as far ahead in advance as possible, and besides that, I’m usually free :) Generally speaking, I connect with dogs quickly. You can expect that when I walk your dog, I will be an attentive, fun, and protective companion for them. Your dog’s safety during our walk is my top priority. I will provide a leash, doggy bags, pets/scratches/etc. if your dog so desires, and, well, maybe a couple treats!

About: I have taken care of my corgi-chihuahua, Petey, for the past seven years, as well as my bearded dragon, Noodles, for the past five years. Taking care of them has given me specialized experience in taking care of pets. I am looking to hang out with some pups and make some extra cash while I attend school at Smith. I usually finish with school around 4 PM and am free on weekends, though I am available to stay the night if needed. I will be a very respectful guest in your home and hope to keep an open line of communication about your expectations and needs for pet care. I absolutely adore animals and will treat yours with the utmost care and respect.

About: I have over 5 years of dog care under my care, I am pet loving, tummy scratching, treat giver type of girl. Going in walks and cuddles are my favorite I work from home three days out of the week my availability is pretty flexible with my employer, I can move my days and work schedule around to accommodate your schedule. I like go through security mesures at twice before leaving making sure no doors or windows that didn’t need to be open are closed and secured for any unexpected escapes.

About: As avid dog lovers with over 15 years of experience, we've cared for various breeds, including our own Shih Tzu who sadly passed away last year. We also frequently looked after our brother’s French Bulldog, who happily reunited with our Shih Tzu, and a Siberian Husky, along with other family dogs. Alternatively, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can explore our dog-friendly and secure neighborhood firsthand. Our area boasts ample walking spaces and provides poop bags for your convenience. For crate-trained dogs, we recommend bringing their crate to ensure their comfort. Additionally, please bring any items that will help your dog feel at ease and secure during their stay. If your dog requires medication, be sure to bring it along. While we do offer some dog treats, feel free to bring your pup's favorites to ensure they feel right at home. About: First and foremost we have the best treats and home cooked food. The mystery machine is hosted by none other than Dumbledore himself (a sweet Great Dane who wanted to maintain his Scooby Doo persona) I am a healthcare professional working in emergency and critical care who always wished I was taking care of animals more than people. I am always home, we just moved into a large home with a big backyard in the Oakland Hills and decided to host some fur babies for fun and play time with our own big baby =) we love couch cuddles and beach trips .. your loved one will rarely be this spoiled =) It is our number one priority and our life centers around our children, and thus, your children. We've adjusted to being parents to a stage 5 Great Dane clinger. We have a fenced yard and lots of indoor space to adjust to any need. Just tell us what your pet needs and it can be accommodated.

About: Hi, Meghan here, I have always been a dog-lover, and currently have a lovable fluffy husky. I live in Oakland with my mom, a fellow dog-lover! I allow our furry friends on the couch, but can also work on furniture-boundaries if your pooch isn't allowed on furniture at your own home. I work from home, so I'll be home most of the day during the weekdays. The longest your pup will be home alone (with my pups) is around 5 hours. I am comfortable with big dogs. I can give medications, and can brush your pooch as well! Here's a little about us: Meghan has been a dog-lover since birth. She grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes. My experience administering medication We are comfortable administering oral medication. **We do have a Potty Clause. We understand accidents happen, and are very forgiving, as pups are often excited and can't help themselves at first. However, we have occasionally had extreme repeat offenders. We take dogs on the basis that they are potty trained. If we feel there are an excessive number of indoor incidents, we will let you know, and ask for a $10 additional fee (per week, or fraction thereof), to cover the cost of laundry and cleaning supplies.** Thanks! I work from home so your pup will hang out with me and Winston at home, join us on walks, and get to spend the day with us! I have a fenced yard. Security gate at my back door means fresh air without escape opportunity. We're working on installing a dog door, so that should happen later this year!

About: I've had the pleasure of caring for a range of pups, from playful puppies to wise seniors, through doggy daycare, house sitting, and daily walks. I’m currently the proud mother of a 100-lb, 6-year-old German Shepherd Mix who’s been with me since he was just a few months old. About: I love playing with dogs! They are so fun to play with. Of course, I do make sure they are well fed and that they’ve gone on their walks. I like to make sure their feeding area is clean so that they don’t pick any germs or parasites and get sick. If they have medication to take, I will happily give it to them without any fear of them potentially biting me or being a bit aggressive. I am available on Mondays until noon, Wednesdays until 1pm, and Fridays from 3pm-8pm. Tuesdays and Saturdays I’m free all day. Sundays I’m not available. I like to ask questions regarding their pets routine, conditions, etc. It helps me get to know more about the owner as well as their companion. I will always make sure their pet feels safe and that they can trust me. I like to greet myself with pets by holding my hand out for them to smell so that I can pet them with their permission.

I am opening my home as well as my heart to boarding a small dog. I would like to accommodate in the weekends and would be willing to take your dogs out for coffee or brunch. My past dog has been my companion when I visited the best coffee and brunch spots. I would like to meet your dogs and give the caring while you are away. I am currently open to boarding anytime of the week. I will also available to boarding in the weekends and most likely to take your dogs for a coffee date. Your dog have a time to roam in the fenced yard depending on how long they are comfortable with. They are allowed to stay indoor and sleep with me.
