“Natalia was very patient with our border collie who can pull a lot during walks and is over all too energetic most of the time. Her walks really helped Millie be happier during the day before we came hom!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I have a playful 5-year-old cat at home who I've trained to shake hands, roll over, spin, and even play dead—yes, really! I believe in building trust and bonding with every pet through positive, calm interactions. Over the past few years, I’ve also helped care for a senior golden retriever and another friend's cat, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels. Whether your pet is energetic and curious or shy and slow-moving, I’ll meet them where they are and treat them like family. I currently offer drop-in visits and dog walking only. Photos Guaranteed! I love capturing special moments and will always send lots of pictures during each visit so you feel connected and reassured while you're away. If you’re looking for someone responsible, patient, and genuinely excited to spend time with your pet, I’d love to help. Feel free to reach out—I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I'm available Friday through Monday all day, and Tuesday to Thursday in the early mornings (7:00–9:00 AM) and evenings (7:30–8:30 PM). Let me know what works best for you—I'm happy to accommodate whenever I can! I will hold the leash tight if we meet any dogs or human on the way, if your dog is too excited I will use my body to block the sight.
“Thank God for Marlene! My last minute work trips she always books comes through works it into her schedule. She is the best with my super hyper Belgium malinois puppy. She always provides a pic she even will do clean up service for your puppy and give them water. She's just a solid dog walker!”

About: I took care of my aunt’s dog named Batman for 8 years until my aunt moved away. Ever since I have always enjoyed taking care of animals like dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and chickens! I currently work Sun-Thurs from 1pm to 9:30pm. I don’t have anything that needs my attention before I need to get to work! I am fully free Friday and Saturdays! I have a fenced yard and a dog park down the block. I have an old crate that can be used if needed and no other dogs or cats in the home.
“I highly recommend Zen for dog walks. She’s incredibly patient and has a great vibe and energy. I’ll definitely be using her for dog walks in the future. Thank you again for walking Viktoria!”

About: I’ve spent three years caring for dogs through walking and sitting, providing safe, loving, reliable support tailored to each pup’s personality, routine, and comfort needs. With lots of free time in my daily routine, I’m able to focus fully on each dog I care for, providing steady attention, enrichment, and a peaceful, supervised environment. I provide a safe, reliable home where dogs can relax and feel supported. With frequent potty breaks, daily walks, and attentive supervision, your pup stays comfortable, happy, and well‑monitored.

“Alisha was fantastic! Super communicative and worked with us to give our boys walks while we had to be away last minute. Loved all the pictures and updates she sent, highly recommend!”

About: Every dog is treated like part of our family. Unlike many sitters, we board only one family’s dog(s) at a time, so your pet receives our full attention in a calm, low-stress home environment. Because I’m home most of the day, your dog will enjoy plenty of companionship and won’t be left alone for long periods. We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes and have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs that require daily medications. We’ll keep your dog’s routine as close to home as possible—from feeding and walks to playtime, potty breaks, and medications—so you can travel with complete peace of mind. Throughout your dog’s stay, you’ll receive plenty of photo and video updates, so you’ll always know they’re happy, safe, and having a great time with us. I’m a stay-at-home mom with a 12-year old daughter and a 3-year-old son. Our family recently said goodbye to our beloved dog after 14 wonderful years, so I understand that pets are truly family. Because I’m home most of the day, your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care. We board only one family’s dog(s) at a time, creating a calm, low-stress environment where your pet can feel safe and comfortable. Our fully fenced yard provides a secure place to play, and I’ll follow your dog’s normal routine—including walks, feeding schedules, medications if needed, and plenty of love—so they feel right at home while you’re away. We’re a dog-friendly family with a secure, fenced backyard where your pup can play, relax, and enjoy plenty of fresh air. With your permission, dogs are welcome on the couch and are treated like part of our family during their stay. My children love animals, so for everyone’s safety, all dogs must be friendly and comfortable around kids, with no history of aggression toward children. We board only one family’s dog(s) at a time, providing a calm, low-stress environment with plenty of individual attention. I provide daily neighborhood walks based on your dog’s routine and needs. Longer walks or hikes are also available for an additional fee. Throughout your dog’s stay, I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Kim was extremely nice to our pets and did a great job with the dog walk. Her Rover card included a detailed description of their walk and the photos were appreciated. 10/10!”

About: I have experience caring for cats while their owners are away, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, brushing, playing, and providing companionship. I have also cared for cats with special care needs by following the owner’s instructions to give medication with food and closely monitoring their eating and well-being. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable, and I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and attention. I have a flexible schedule and can provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I enjoy spending time with animals and will make sure your pet receives the attention, care, and companionship they need while you’re away. I’ll always communicate with you and provide updates so you know your pet is safe and doing well. I respect every client’s home and carefully follow all care instructions to keep pets comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can travel with peace of mind.
About: I have dogsat for different family members and even my significant other’s on multiple occasions since I was 11. I’m very observant when it comes to body language and behavior. I take pride in over-caring than under-caring. Your dog’s enjoyment is my top priority! I’m currently looking for a part-time job, so at this very moment I have plenty of free-time to get to know you and your doggos. I can bathe, brush, walk, etc. when instructed by you to do so. My daily routine can be flexible but will eventually changed due to career managing. I’m happy to communicate and accommodate! I have a small Honda Fit Hatchback car for transportation that can be used to go to the park. I will also supply water, wet wipes (dog friendly), and a small ball or two for playing! If the doggo wants a joyride, I can provide!
About: I love playing with dogs! They are so fun to play with. Of course, I do make sure they are well fed and that they’ve gone on their walks. I like to make sure their feeding area is clean so that they don’t pick any germs or parasites and get sick. If they have medication to take, I will happily give it to them without any fear of them potentially biting me or being a bit aggressive. I am free at various times. I do attend university, so I may be unavailable at certain times. However, I am happy to work with you and your pet at whatever time is best. I like to ask questions regarding their pets routine, conditions, etc. It helps me get to know more about the owner as well as their companion. I will always make sure their pet feels safe and that they can trust me. I like to greet myself with pets by holding my hand out for them to smell so that I can pet them with their permission.
About: As avid dog lovers with over 15 years of experience, we've cared for various breeds, including our own Shih Tzu who sadly passed away last year. We also frequently looked after our brother’s French Bulldog, who happily reunited with our Shih Tzu, and a Siberian Husky, along with other family dogs. Living in a pet-friendly community with ample grassy areas, your pups will have plenty of space to roam and play. Before your drop-off, we'd love to arrange a meet and greet to acquaint ourselves with you and your furry companions! This is not our first time on Rover. We have been dog-sitting on Rover for about 3 years. The first two years were under a different account with our mom because of age. So we did it together with our parents and were very happy with both animal and human clientele who were just as happy with our services. If you would like to see reviews from then I can send over those Rover Account details as well! We understand the importance of ensuring both you and your beloved pets have peace of mind while you're away, and we're dedicated to providing them with a safe and enjoyable experience under our care! We are currently completely free, accommodating both weekdays and weekends. Our days will be completely catered to the needs of your babies. We understand the importance of convenience, offering flexible pick-up and drop-off times, including same-day services. Whether it's a weekday, weekend, or holiday, we're here to ensure seamless care for your beloved pets. We offer a fenced backyard patio and expansive grassy areas within our community, and we're happy to provide photos of the surroundings upon request prior to booking. Alternatively, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can explore our dog-friendly and secure neighborhood firsthand. Our area boasts ample walking spaces and provides poop bags for your convenience. For crate-trained dogs, we recommend bringing their crate to ensure their comfort. Additionally, please bring any items that will help your dog feel at ease and secure during their stay. If your dog requires medication, be sure to bring it along. While we do offer some dog treats, feel free to bring your pup's favorites to ensure they feel right at home. Your pets' comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we strive to make their stay as enjoyable as possible!

About: Hello! My name is Tabatha and I've taken care of dogs for the past 10 years outside of having dogs myself for my whole life. I’ve used Rover for my dog too, so I understand the level of care pet parents look for! I also foster dogs from local shelters from time to time so I’m used to working with all kinds of pups. I recently started working from home more so I have more availability to hang with your pup. :) I currently work from home on the days I’m available & love to take the dogs out for a romp in the yard or walks in the neighborhood. There’s a doggy door to my fenced backyard so they can also come & go as they please. :) I have a fenced in yard and am familiar with walks and parks in my area. I also love playing and engaging pets with toys and training.

Jonathan was fantastic with Roman this weekend! His communication was excellent from start to finish. He kept me updated throughout the walk and sent photos and videos so I could see Roman having a great time. He also made sure Roman was fed and taken care of exactly as instructed. It's clear Jonathan genuinely cares about the pets he looks after, and I felt completely at ease knowing Roman was in good hands. Would absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive rover!

Angelica walked my 2 dogs this week while I was out of town and my husband, who works overnight, was asleep. I was worried as my dog Cali can be a bit feisty to new people but she seemed to warm up to Angelica very fast! Both dogs seemed to have a great time on their walls from the pictures Angelica shared with me. She is communicative, responsive, and responsible, and we will definitely book with her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
