“Dani was extra amazing taking care of my kitty while she was recently recovering from dental extractions. She sent detailed progress updated every day so I could be assured and have some comfort of her wellbeing while I was out of town. Dani is a super valuable sitter and I will happily use her services again and again.”

“I can’t say enough about Veronica’s services. I had here come in and check on my cats while I was on vacation. Each time photos were sent to me and an update of feedings and how my cats were doing. I loved that she would hang out with them and give them scratches and attention. One of my cats tends to get depressed when o leave and when I arrived home he looked happy and no sign of depression. Also, there was an earthquake while we were gone. Veronica came in an extra time to make sure the cats were not traumatized and hiding somewhere. She sent pics of them hanging out in there usual area. I will definitely use Veronica again and recommend her to anyone. Thank you Veronica.”

“Alisha was great. Looked after our ShihTzu for a few days (fairly last minute on a holiday weekend) which was much appreciated! She sent updates with the cutest pictures and made sure Hannah had everything she needed plus some. Came home to a happy pup. I will definitely use Alisha’s services again if she is still available in the future. Thanks again Alisha!”

“Jalen was great! He was very easy to work with and my cat took to him immediately which isn’t always the case. During my trip he sent me videos of her making biscuits and purring. I felt better knowing that she was happy and being taken care of. When I got back there were a stack of clean food bowls ready to be used and he sent me an update about how things had gone. I will definitely be hiring him again in the future!”

“Krystle was amazing with our cat! She helped with all the things I asked for and went above and beyond and helped with other things like ant invasion when we were away. She was extremely patient and sweet with our cat that was hiding under the couch during her visits. She was able to get our cat to play with her after couple of days, thanks to Krystle’s gentle approach. I was comfortable being away and knew that my cat was being treated well and taken care of. I 100% recommend Krystle! She’s truly the best. I’ll definitely reach out to her if I need a sitter again.”

“Andy is kind and gentle with our tripod Xander. Our dog is always so excited when he sees Andy. He has leash reactivity and Andy has been understanding and capable. Andy has been flexible with our schedule. We are so happy we chose Andy to be our dog walker.”

“Lia did an incredible job taking care of my 2 cats. She was great at communicating and providing updates/pictures on how my cats were doing. I felt comfortable leaving them in her care during my short vacation.”

“We appreciate Daria taking care of our kitty while we were away. She played with, fed, and looked after our cat, sending cute pictures and even short videos (which was really nice) every day. Our kitty has definitely enjoyed her time with Daria.”

About: I love playing with dogs! They are so fun to play with. Of course, I do make sure they are well fed and that they’ve gone on their walks. I like to make sure their feeding area is clean so that they don’t pick any germs or parasites and get sick. If they have medication to take, I will happily give it to them without any fear of them potentially biting me or being a bit aggressive. I am free at various times. I do attend university, so I may be unavailable at certain times. However, I am happy to work with you and your pet at whatever time is best. I like to ask questions regarding their pets routine, conditions, etc. It helps me get to know more about the owner as well as their companion. I will always make sure their pet feels safe and that they can trust me. I like to greet myself with pets by holding my hand out for them to smell so that I can pet them with their permission.
“Nilab took amazing care of our two cats while we were on vacation. I appreciate all the pictures she took playing with the cats, it gave me peace of mind while we were away. Thank you!”

“Tinwa was wonderful with our cat and dog! He was very attentive, super responsive to messages, and definitely treated our animals with a lot of care and love. I highly recommend you book with him!”

“Angelica is absolutely the best! She took such great care of our shy lab and kept us at ease with constant communication and updates throughout her check ins. Her patience and kindness meant so much to us, and it was clear our shy boy felt comfortable with her. He was excited to see her every time! We’re so grateful to Angelica for taking such wonderful care of Chip. Highly recommend!”

“Yilian was wonderful with our dogs. She provided drop-ins to primarily feed our fur babies; and she ensured their blankets were in their beds, tidied up the garage and yard, and played with them while she was at the house. She communicated well and promptly, sent us updates and pics. We will definitely book Yilian again!”

“Christina will always get 5 stars from us. She went beyond our expectations when sitting our babies. I am grateful that I found such a wonderful woman to watch our kitties. ”

Dani is a hero who was able to take a last minute booking for my kitty Brenna while I went out of town. She was also super helpful in dosing her meds which Brenna is not a fan of. She takes such great care of my furbaby and will absolutely book with her again.

Demi is a wonderful cat sitter. She is so kind and communicative, you can tell she cares about her work and ethics. We are so glad she took such good care of our cat, Lulu. She provided great details of the check ins and more. Truly appreciate it and we look forward to booking her again!

Lia was an excellent communicator throughout the petsitting process and made me feel very safe about leaving my beloved cat son in her care! She clearly loves animals and knows a lot about how to care for them—including those with special medical needs. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future and would highly recommend her care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
