“Yilian was wonderful with our dogs. She provided drop-ins to primarily feed our fur babies; and she ensured their blankets were in their beds, tidied up the garage and yard, and played with them while she was at the house. She communicated well and promptly, sent us updates and pics. We will definitely book Yilian again!”

“Once again Erin did a fantastic job. Sammy is now one of Erin’s best pals. And although Lucy is shy and hides she was well fed and happy. Erin is the best and I have full trust and confidence in her with my pets. Will definitely have Erin help us again.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover since day one! 🐾 I started volunteering at animal shelters at 12 and have cared for cats and dogs ever since. I currently have 3 cats of my own, so I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your fur babies. ❤️ I’m currently available: Monday–Friday: Available after 2:00 PM Weekends & Holidays: Available anytime I’m happy to work around your pet’s schedule and needs! 🐾 I follow your pet’s routine and all the instructions you leave, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’ll keep you updated throughout each visit, and you can expect a daily summary with pictures so you always know how your fur baby is doing.
About: I have two dogs of my own age 7 and 12 whom I have been taking care of their whole lives as well as a third now. We have also lived with other dogs and I have raised kittens for a short time. I've done tons of dog walking and have had my dogs in training and learned through this process. I've done lots of vet visits and seen my pets through surgeries and healing. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages and will give them the utmost care and attention. I work from home managing rental properties, setting up spiritual retreats and doing accounting for my father's business so I make my own schedule and therefore am very flexible! I can handle all temperaments of dog and cats with love and care. I am happy to walk them for long or short durations, on simple paths and trails or challenging hikes if the owner prefers. At your home I am happy to feed them, play with toys, pet them and provide whatever they need!
About: Hello! My name is Elise and I’m a dog walker with lots of personal pet training experience that specializes with reactive dogs both large and small. Just give me a list of things your pup may struggle with or that you want them to learn and I will do my best to help them learn to emotionally regulate on walks, around other dogs and people, or just while at home when I’m pet sitting :). I can also write you progress reports and training that should be continued at home for the best results. I can also offer my help to older dogs or dogs with arthritis or other joint/muscle issues. I am a certified personal trainer and a lot of the things I’ve learned about human muscles and pain relief also apply to puppy bodies. Disclaimers: I do not take dogs on off leash walks unless it’s at a private gated property I do not walk multiple dogs in one session as this will often cause/increase reactivity. Depending on how reactive your dog is, how new they are to walks, and how strong they are, I strongly suggest having a muzzle and, in severe cases, may require that they have one for a session. I can always help recommend the most comfortable one for your pet as my 90 lb dog needed one for walks in the beginning of training and still needs it for vet trips :) I taught her that it’s not a punishment and desensitized her to it by associating it with positive things like treats and now she helps me put it on her. I work from 6 am - 9 am every weekday morning and have therapy on Wednesdays at 10. Outside of that, my other commitments are flexible and my main focus is on building my clientele here on rover :) I plan on fulfilling any need/chore my client’s owner lists for me and I offer free training when wanted. Outside of that, I pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and potty/feeding schedule to ensure they are fed on time, let out for potty, taken out for walks, and played with as needed and in a way that is most fulfilling for their breed. For example, I play herding games for herding breeds, lots of training and learning tricks for working breeds, etc. I also love to help dogs with arthritis or other joint/muscle issues by massaging them. I am a certified personal trainer and a lot of the things I’ve learned about human muscles and pain relief also apply to puppy bodies.
“Natasha is fantastic! She is always timely, incredibly caring, and took great care of my doggie. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.”

“Nilab took amazing care of our two cats while we were on vacation. I appreciate all the pictures she took playing with the cats, it gave me peace of mind while we were away. Thank you!”

“Krystle was amazing with our cat! She helped with all the things I asked for and went above and beyond and helped with other things like ant invasion when we were away. She was extremely patient and sweet with our cat that was hiding under the couch during her visits. She was able to get our cat to play with her after couple of days, thanks to Krystle’s gentle approach. I was comfortable being away and knew that my cat was being treated well and taken care of. I 100% recommend Krystle! She’s truly the best. I’ll definitely reach out to her if I need a sitter again.”

About: I got my first dog, Cookie, in 2017, but I had birds and fish as pets prior. I took care of most of the toys, treats, food and vet care for him. He is now around 11 and although I've moved out of the family home, I'm helping my parents transition him to senior care level: watching out for his joints and diet mostly. I've since moved in with my partner who has a 4 year old Corgi. He is a friendly, but high energy pup who would benefit from having other dogs around to play with. I sometimes dog sit my family dog with the corgi, so I am well versed in juggling puppy energy and training alongside senior care. I have a hobby photography background, so expect photo updates of your fur babies! I'm currently available weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) and holidays only because I work 4 days in office full time. Only looking to host one dog at a time right now, just so I don't overwhelm my own dog. May increase to more than one in the future! I walk/feed my own dog in the morning before leaving for work. I drop him off at daycare once a week on Wednesdays usually, so he gets some fun time. My partner works nights and is at home but sleeps until the afternoon. He cares for the dog until I get back around 5pm. Since we work day and night shifts, there is almost always someone at home to care for our dog. We have basic grooming equipment to file nails, shave paw pads, and I brush out weekly to limit the amount of fur shed inside the house. Daily, we run a robot vacuum cleaner that picks up most of the fur. Weekly, we do a manual house cleaning where we blow out all the fur from the corners and under furniture and vacuum everything up. I try to pick something up for the dog (new toy or treat) whenever I go grocery shopping. Weekends, I am able to spend more time with pets, so we go on longer walks and pet friendly places. I have a fenced yard with grass/concrete area and an energetic Corgi for your dog to play with! I'm very respectful in others' homes and will strive to leave everything the way I found it or better. I am super organized and love relying on making to-do lists to keep track of all my tasks and responsibilities. I have a whiteboard dedicated for this at my home, but use my phone when I'm outside or in other's homes. I'm open to both crate trained and not crate-trained dogs. For cats, I make sure the litterbox is always clean and try to play with them if they want. Additionally, I'm always mindful of entering and leaving homes, in case a pet makes an escape attempt through my open door. I'm very detail-oriented, have great communication skills, and take great notes. So I make sure I know exactly the type of care you want for your pet!

“As always our older cat was in good hands with Gianina. She is calm and patient with him. He never comes out for people and he comes out to be loved on and brushed by her. Became my cat is older he has diahrea sometimes and she always cleans any messes. You can’t do better than her!”
“Jennifer followed my detailed instructions very well and sent me constant updates with pictures while I went on a long deserved vacation. Kitty got sick a week prior so I was worried that she hasn’t fully recovered. Luckily there were no issues. Thanks Jennifer for everything! Highly recommend to others.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fairview
Dani is a hero who was able to take a last minute booking for my kitty Brenna while I went out of town. She was also super helpful in dosing her meds which Brenna is not a fan of. She takes such great care of my furbaby and will absolutely book with her again.

Demi is a wonderful cat sitter. She is so kind and communicative, you can tell she cares about her work and ethics. We are so glad she took such good care of our cat, Lulu. She provided great details of the check ins and more. Truly appreciate it and we look forward to booking her again!

Vivian did an outstanding job caring for our cats over the holiday, including one that needed daily medication. She is reliable and followed instructions to a T, and you can tell that she is experienced with animals and their specific needs. I definitely recommend her for anyone in need of a pet sitter!

Nola is fantastic! This was my second time having her look after my cats and she was great. Very responsive and competent. I was very nervous because one of my cats is an extreme escape artist but Nola managed to keep her inside during all of the visits which was such a huge relief. Highly recommend!!

Jalen was great! He was very easy to work with and my cat took to him immediately which isn’t always the case. During my trip he sent me videos of her making biscuits and purring. I felt better knowing that she was happy and being taken care of. When I got back there were a stack of clean food bowls ready to be used and he sent me an update about how things had gone. I will definitely be hiring him again in the future!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fairview. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
