About: I have experiences with Senior care and basic training for puppies. I watch their body languages carefully to know when to pause a play and what they need from me :) Leia and I usually go for a walk in the morning, around 5 in the afternoon and quick bathroom break before going to bed. About: I’ve owned a Pitbull for 15 years and most recently I’ve rescued another Pitbull pup from the Hayward dog shelter. We love our local dog parks. I am a teacher for HUSD and currently on summer break. So I have a lot of down time right now if you need a break from your dog. I take my own dog to the local dog parks and much as I can. I also walk the neighborhoods to keep her active. I have a balcony where she uses the restroom on pads and grass and we plenty of toys in the apartment to keep busy.
About: I have over 8 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I truly love what I do. While I specialize in small dogs, I’m comfortable with medium-sized pups too. I’ve cared for pets of all ages — from playful 10-week-old puppies and kittens to sweet senior pets who just need gentle walks and extra attention. Every pet has their own personality, and I’m patient and experienced with animals that may be shy, energetic, or require special care (including medication administration or those who prefer being the only pet around). I love going on walks, playing fetch, visiting local parks, and spending quality time with pets so they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. (Nature walks are my favorite too!) It’s truly a privilege to care for dogs and cats, and I treat every pet like my own. I am available to sit in : Peninsula, East Bay, (specfic neighborhoods I love are: Berkeley, Alameda, Piedmont, Rockridge, Temescal ), San Francisco, and surrounding areas. When I am at a clients home I treat their cat or dog with love, respect, guidance, and warmth. I approach pets for the first time slowly to give them a chance to sniff me or rub noses with me/check me out. Once I get to know the pet then I engage in play, cuddling and assuring talk.

We did a meet & greet the day before, and Charlie got instantly comfortable. Their dog Boba is very lovable and gentle. April communicated regularly and responded in a timely fashion and also sent lots of pictures. Charlie was very happy and well taken care of! I would feel completely comfortable leaving Charlie in their care again!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I provide a safe, loving home environment and care for one family’s pet at a time so your dog gets plenty of attention and individualized care. I’ll follow your pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home while you’re away. I work a hybrid schedule and provide boarding throughout the week and on weekends. Dogs in my care should be comfortable spending a 1-2 hours independently at a time while I am running errands, or attending to other commitments (picking kid up from camp or school for example). Mondays and Thursdays are typically office days, so these days are my longest periods away from home (~8 hours during the day). Outside of those times, dogs receive plenty of attention, affection, walks, and care. I want both pets and their owners to feel comfortable and at ease. I provide a safe, family-oriented home and care for one family’s pet at a time. I’ll follow your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions, and I’m happy to send updates and photos while you’re away.
