“Cindy was great! She was so responsive and took amazing care of our dog Bodie. She asked all the good questions at the meet and greet and it’s clear she takes this seriously. Bodie arrived back home happy and clearly a bit tired (in the best way) from all the fun he had at her house.”

“Mary and her husband were great! They had a separate cat room where Misty stayed and was super communicative and flexible around pick up and drop off times. Mary also sent a lot of pictures and kept us updated throughout our cat's stay which we really appreciated. She even went out of her way to get special treats for our cat early in our cat's stay when she had a limited appetite. Overall, we definitely recommend her to others and are planning on having Misty stay with them again. :)”

“Adrienne and Edgar are awesome!! They were super responsive during our initial communications and sent plenty of photos of our Lula to reassure us that she was fitting in well in their home. Highly recommend booking with them!”

“Harper is an amazing sitter! She replied promptly and and sent us pictures/updates throughout the day. Lulu had a great time with her. We will definitely be booking with her in the future again.”

“My dog was so chill when I came to pick her up. She didn't want to leave. I have never seen her so content with someone else. I trust Astrid and her family and thank them from the bottom of my heart for such a good stay. It makes me so comfortable to know my baby is safe with them.”

“They were great; attentive, flexible, and kind They made sure to send daily updates that included lots of pictures and videos. We are happy we found them to watch our standard poodle.”

“I really appreciate Natallia watching ALL 4 of my cats. She did a fantastic job. They were spoiled and they did not want to leave her home. Natallia provided me pictures and updates of my fur babies. I had peace of mind while they were under her care. I highly recommend her.”

“Giancarlo was supper accommodating and took great care of my dog. I wasn't there to drop my dog off, but I was not worried at all. Super professional, would highly recommend :)”

“Lenin and Tatiana were great with Peanut. They took over after a bad experience with another sitter, so I appreciate them making sure that she was doing well and in good spirits when I got her. The previous sitter had not been taking her out to the bathroom properly so Peanut required extra care and frequent bathroom breaks during this time and they were great about it. Thank you!”

“Sarentuya was wonderful with my dog! She can be pouty and refused to go on walks, but she was so patient and gave her lots of love and attention instead. I really appreciated the photo updates and knowing she was comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

About: I have been providing home-style dog boarding and pet care since 2017, with over 9 years of hands-on experience. I also worked for two years at a professional dog boarding and daycare facility in San Francisco and have experience in animal rescue. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, especially puppies, senior dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs with anxiety or special needs. What sets me apart is my small, home-based care approach. I only accept 1–2 dogs at a time, which allows me to provide full attention, a calm environment, and truly personalized care for each dog. I am patient and attentive, and I adjust my care based on each dog’s personality to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I stay at home most of the time and have a flexible schedule, so caring for pets is a natural part of my daily life. I take dogs out for walks, feed them, and spend time with them every day. I only accept a small number of dogs so I can give each pet plenty of attention and care. Home-style care in Castro Valley. Only 1–2 dogs at a time, never more than a small pack — so every visitor gets personal attention and a calm, consistent routine. Quiet indoor spaces to nap, multiple walks outside each day, and free meet-and-greets before any stay. I've been caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and more since 2018 and specialize in small and medium dogs under 45 lb.
“Gianina & her family were so great to my pup. we recently moved and I was really nervous leaving him while I left town. They sent photos daily which eased my discomfort but also helped me see how well Sutton settled in to their home and it brought me a lot of ease to see how comfortable he was so quickly. I will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Jocelyn is the most amazing person! I didn’t think my high anxiety dog would be comfortable with anyone but she treats him as if he were her second dog. She walks him daily and spoils him with love. I completely trust her with my baby and I’m so happy to know that he loves her too. I feel relieved to know he is in good hands when I’m away.”

“Gus had a fabulous experience staying with Izzy and his family. It is obvious that Izzy loves dogs as much as we love our pups. He sent pictures and commentary to ease this helicopter mom’s nerves. Gus was happy, well fed and tired from playing. I can’t say enough good things about this stay. We will definitely bring Gus back knowing he is in such competent care.”

“I recently had to travel for five days and entrusted my dog, Max, to Shuvashna's care. When I dropped Max off, he was experiencing a bit of diarrhea. Despite this, Shuvashna welcomed him without hesitation. Unfortunately, Max's condition worsened, but Shuvashna kept me informed every step of the way and suggested that we book a vet appointment. She accompanied Max to the vet and stayed by his side until he showed signs of improvement. Shuvashna also prepared a special diet of rice porridge and chicken to aid Max’s digestion. When I picked up Max, Shuvashna provided a detailed account of his condition and the medication he was given. I am extremely grateful for Shuvashna’s attentive and caring approach during Max’s stay. Her dedication and compassion were truly commendable, and I highly recommend her as a caregiver.”

“Kimberly was amazing with our Luna girl! We were nervous about leaving her with someone new, but after our meet and greet, we knew she was the perfect sitter. Her updates and photos gave us peace of mind while we were away. She went above and beyond, and we will definitely book with her again. Thank you for taking such great care of Luna!”

About: Despite never owning a cat myself, I have cat sat for friends and briefly cared for some 4-5 week old abandoned kittens I found. I'm well versed on basic cat care and willing to learn for special needs like meds and dietary restrictions. I have a hobby photography background, so expect photo updates of your fur babies!

About: My friends growing up had cats and I currently have family members that have cats. I can read their body language if they want space or are playing. I understand the way cats play, how to approach them, cleaning their litter box, and more.

“Supriya did fantastic. We have total peace in mind knowing she was there and everything was well taken care of. Thanks for checking everything like his litter box, food, health, etc. We appreciate you looking after our little angel baby and sending us the most adorable photos. We will definitely be in contact again for future trips!!!”

About: I’ve had cats for about 7 years and have always loved caring for them. I’ve also rescued several kittens and helped find them good homes. One of the reasons I’m majoring in Veterinary Assisting is because I’ve seen how cats are often overlooked, and I want to help give them the care they deserve. I’ll treat your cat like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away
“Katsiaryna is the absolute best! She is so reliable and always provides the best updates and pictures. Not to mention my anxious cat adores her and always looks so happy in the pictures. I’’m so lucky to have found her!!”

“I recently used Rover while I was on vacation, and I couldn’t be happier with the level of care Denise provided for my cats. She visited every other day without fail and made sure they always had fresh food, clean water, and spotless litter boxes. My cats are known to be a little pee-pee–prone, and she handled every accident with so much patience and professionalism; truly above and beyond what I expected. What I appreciated most were the detailed updates and photos she sent through the app after each visit. It gave me so much peace of mind to see my cats relaxed, fed, and comfortable while I was away. Knowing they were in such capable and caring hands made my entire trip stress-free. Denise delivered exceptional service from start to finish, and I’m genuinely grateful for the care she showed my pets and my home. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

I am currently not working and looking to book a few pets for the remainder of my days before I move to college. From then on I will be working in San Jose except for weekends when I will be down In Hayward again. In my own home I have a schedule of when I walk my animals and when they get fed. I have experience grooming dogs and making sure they stay clean and healthy. I have set times that I feed my animals and refill water. I will be happy to follow any instructions you provide.

About: Experienced care for kittens, adults, and seniors including active, neurotic, shy, and anxious cats! Committed to providing compassionate, reliable, and personalized care for every unique feline personality.
“Everything was great with Maria taking care of our cat. He needs heart medication administered twice a day (in a pill pocket), so we needed someone reliable. Cats aren't always easy to watch because they are wary of new people, but Maria powered through and made sure Loki was cared for...even when he insisted on hiding under the bed! Thanks, Maria!”

“Updates me everyday of specific details that happened during visit. Followed all instructions! I think I found my go-to cat sitter. Will definitely book again if available. Kitty seems to really like her based on the photos. Thanks for everything!”

“Giana was great with my two cats. It was clear when I returned that they had a very good time together! She was great with updates and pictures of the fun they were having. She did a wonderful job, and I'm sure you will think likewise!”

About: Hi! My name is Adrienne and my husband's name is Edgar & we are both at home full-time. We both have a very active lifestyle. Since adopting our pup Nigel back in 2017 we became the go to pet-caretaker for our friends and family. We both have experience pet/house sitting and dog walking all ages and sizes. Our single family home has a large grassy front yard and a fenced backyard. We have hosted up to 3 dogs in our home at once in addition to our 2 old pups (now 1 since the other has crossed the rainbow bridge). Our home is extremely dog friendly, where they are welcomed on all beds and couches. We have dogs beds in every room, a large fabric dog crate and a small guest bathroom that we can put puppy pads in if your pup requires it. We live in a quiet neighborhood and are a quick drive away from two parks, one with a newly renovated dog park. We love having the opportunity to interact with all pets through Rover. We mostly do this for fun and supplemental income on our free time, so we are flexible on cost and cancellation. For house sitting, I (Adrienne) will be the main one to do the stay, if you prefer Edgar please let us know. We understand how hard it is to leave your fur babies at home alone, and the look on their face when you leave is absolutely heart breaking. We'd love to keep them company while you're away! Your pets' safety and happiness is important, our goal is to create a stress free environment for everyone.
About: I've had cats, dogs, rodents and fish my entire life. I have also worked at a dog boarding facility in the past. I'm dedicated to learning your pets needs and make sure they're happy. I work as a hairdresser so my schedule is mostly flexible with some notice, I have two cats that get fed twice a day that I would need to check on as well but otherwise your pet has my full attention. I learn their feeding and potty schedules, incorporate their playtimes in and keep them away from any destructive or dangerous behavior. I am very perceptive of animals and knowledgeable of their behavior so it comes natural to me.

“Harper - thank you so much for hosting Alonzo these last two days! I know when he was so excited to see you on the second day that you took such good care of him and he had a great time! I really appreciate you looking after him so well and all of the pictures and videos you sent me throughout the day. We will for sure come back to you any time we’re in San Jose and I’ll recommend you to anyone here! Thanks again!!! Mikah and Alonzo”

“Tatiana walked my dog three times while staying at her house and gave her good exercises. She let my dog playing at the park and hanging out with her ground children. I’m sure that my dog had a good time. She also took good care of her by checking her food, trying to feed her until she got enough. She is a good walker and caregiver as well. I’m happy and comfortable to leave my dog with her.”

“Seri came back happy and calm, Mikaela did a great job! Especially with Seri being an anxious dog, it was great that she looked so relaxed in the pictures. Thank you to Mikaela!”

“Cindy was a lifesaver during my stressful workweek. She took care of Panda and made sure she felt loved and comfortable. She kept me updated throughout the day and knew I’d be off later and was flexible with my schedule - absolutely fantastic! I had regular updates with Panda being spoiled with love by her girls. I’ll definitely use her again when I need a sitter. Thanks a million!”

“She was incredibly patient and caring with my puppy. Since he hasn’t completed all of his vaccinations yet, she was able to accommodate him by only watching one dog at a time, which gave me great peace of mind. She regularly sent me photos and updates, so I always knew how he was doing. She also helped with his potty training and was very attentive to his needs. I could tell she genuinely cared about him and treated him like her own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and responsible dog sitter! I will definitely rebook her if needed in the future! Thanks Yan!”

About: I have experiences with Senior care and basic training for puppies. I watch their body languages carefully to know when to pause a play and what they need from me :) Leia and I usually go for a walk in the morning, around 5 in the afternoon and quick bathroom break before going to bed. I work from home most of the time so id love to help to care for another dog so they’re not depressed alone at home whole the parents are off to earn money for their their pawbills 😝 I help to care for friends dogs when they need and I feed them together but separately so they don’t get food aggressive. I also monitor toys so it doesn’t create fights. Because I have Leia, I know the struggle and guilt feelings when you have vacation planned and need to leave the pup. I try my best to give lots of updates and pics so the humans can enjoy their time away as well.
“Natalia is a great care giver to my dog. She walked my dog for a long time which my dog loved and enjoyed accompanying to my dog. I’ll ask her again. I would appreciate more pics if I could ask. Overall, she is great.”

“The boys completed their first daycare visit; all went well and they seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Also, appreciated the good communication between Owner and Sitter. We'll be back for another visit soon :)”

Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I’m a very reliable person if you guys ever need me! I just started working part time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available during weekdays and weekends for any services you need. I live in a gated apartment and there is barely too none dogs that live around the neighborhood and the ones who do are very friendly
About: I’ve cared for many different kinds of pets since high school. Just in the last two years I’ve learned a lot about dog behavior as my husband and I have adopted two pups of our own. They are both around 2. I love to play and teach them as we are all growing together as a family. I had a dog in high school as well and walked her everyday. I also helped care for our kitties, as we had a few growing up. We also have three kitties now whom we love and play with everyday. Pets are like kids, they all have their own personalities and it’s fun to learn who they are just like people. I’m currently working an odd schedule and it’s been quite slow. Would be nice to make a little extra cash while helping someone else exercise their pup, or take care of them. I like to let pets get to know me and some need more time than others. Depending on the pet they may come to greet me or hide. It’s best to let the pet approach me first when they are ready. I like to use treats for commands, rewards, and/or bribes. Pets love to play and I am good at that! Outside is a little more dangerous as you never know what another person’s dog is like. I usually avoid strange dogs and anything that I see could be harmful. I like a close leash to make sure pets don’t eat strange things on the ground and I can watch them closely to look out for something before they get to it. Pets are quick and you have to see it before they do!

“Naomi is a great dog walker, she gives my Jack Russell Terrier, Dahlia, a good long walk which she really enjoys. She is always on time and makes sure Dahlia gets her full hour of walking.”

About: I love playing with dogs! They are so fun to play with. Of course, I do make sure they are well fed and that they’ve gone on their walks. I like to make sure their feeding area is clean so that they don’t pick any germs or parasites and get sick. If they have medication to take, I will happily give it to them without any fear of them potentially biting me or being a bit aggressive. I am free at various times. I do attend university, so I may be unavailable at certain times. However, I am happy to work with you and your pet at whatever time is best. I like to ask questions regarding their pets routine, conditions, etc. It helps me get to know more about the owner as well as their companion. I will always make sure their pet feels safe and that they can trust me. I like to greet myself with pets by holding my hand out for them to smell so that I can pet them with their permission.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, and my parents bred and showed Dobermans, so I was surrounded from an early age by thoughtful, consistent dog care and training. With only a few gaps during college and early adulthood, I've had a dog by my side throughout my entire life. I'm currently a dog owner myself, and my dog is very much part of my everyday life. That's also how I approach boarding. Rather than caring for a large group of dogs, I prefer to host one guest at a time so they can settle into our household and receive plenty of individual attention, companionship, walks, play, and affection. I'm home much of the day, so a visiting dog isn't routinely left alone for long stretches. I believe dogs respond best to patience, consistency, clear boundaries, positive interaction, and lots of affection. I also know every dog has its own personality, habits, and comfort level, so I want to learn what makes your dog feel safe and at home. My goal is simple: while you're away, your dog gets to live as a beloved member of the household rather than feeling like they're being sent away to boarding. I work primarily from home, and my own dog is already my near-constant companion, so caring for another dog fits very naturally into my daily life. When I board a dog, my intention is for them to join our household and our routine rather than spend long stretches of the day alone. That means plenty of companionship, regular walks and outdoor time, play, relaxation, and, when it's appropriate for the individual dog, coming along with us on dog-friendly outings. I take my own dog with me frequently and am happy to do the same with a guest who enjoys it. Most importantly, I adjust the routine to the dog. Some dogs love being out and about; others are happiest relaxing somewhere familiar and quiet. During their stay, I pay attention to what makes them comfortable and adapt accordingly. I want each dog in my care to feel safe, included, and genuinely at home while their family is away. Safety starts with making sure a dog is a good fit for our home. Before a first stay, I prefer to meet with you and your dog and introduce them to my dog so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together. I strive to understand your dog's normal routine, personality, feeding and walking schedule, house rules, medications or special needs, and anything that makes them anxious, excited, or especially happy. I follow your instructions and try to keep familiar routines consistent while adapting to what I observe during the stay. I host only one guest dog at a time, which allows me to give them plenty of individual attention and closely monitor how they're settling in. I use leashes and secure handling outdoors, keep food and other potential sources of conflict managed carefully, and never assume that two dogs who get along well don't still need thoughtful supervision. Most importantly, I pay attention. Dogs communicate constantly through their behavior, and I want to notice when a guest is relaxed, uncomfortable, tired, excited, or needs something different. My goal is to provide a safe, calm home where your dog can become part of the family while they're in my care.
I’ll treat your cat like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Since it’s summer, my schedule is very flexible. I do have a part-time job, but my shifts are usually only a few hours long and vary throughout the week. Outside of work, I have plenty of time to care for your pets and give them the attention they deserve. I will make sure your pets are well cared for while you’re away, and I’ll send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re happy and safe. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely care about making sure pets are happy and comfortable. I make it a point to check on them regularly, give them plenty of attention, and make sure their needs are met. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pets are in good hands.

“Katsiaryna has been walking my pups while I'm at school for the past few months and taking care of them on the weekends when I'm out of town. They absolutely LOVE her! She sends the best pictures and I always feel like they are safe and happy in her care. I would recommend her to anyone in the SF area. She's responsible and has been so accommodating when my schedule changes and I have to cancel last minute. Thank you Katsiaryna! <3 Marisa, Ollie, and Ruby”

“Cindy was great! She was so responsive and took amazing care of our dog Bodie. She asked all the good questions at the meet and greet and it’s clear she takes this seriously. Bodie arrived back home happy and clearly a bit tired (in the best way) from all the fun he had at her house.”

“Sarentuya was wonderful with my dog! She can be pouty and refused to go on walks, but she was so patient and gave her lots of love and attention instead. I really appreciated the photo updates and knowing she was comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

“Robert is always my Go To for my dogs. They have big personalities and Robert is always gracious and caring towards them while I'm away. I always get the sweetest pictures while I'm away and it leaves me feeling good about their well-being. 🍓”
“Took really good care of my dog. Followed all the instructions and was very communicative during the entire stay. My dog was happy and acclimated well with them. When I picked him up, he was in good spirits and happy to see me.”

“Siu Kei (Alex) is fantastic! He was extremely accommodating and kept us updated with frequent photos and verbal check-ins on our pup, Strudel. He even went above and beyond by picking up extra dog food when we forgot to pack an extra days worth - truly thoughtful and reliable! Thank you and can’t wait to play again!”

“Ying is a wonderful dog sitter. She took care of our 75lbs Shepard mix and sent us fun photos and generally cared about his well being. We hope she’s available the next time we need a sitter!”

About: I got my first dog, Cookie, in 2017, but I had birds and fish as pets prior. I took care of most of the toys, treats, food and vet care for him. He is now around 11 and although I've moved out of the family home, I'm helping my parents transition him to senior care level: watching out for his joints and diet mostly. I've since moved in with my partner who has a 4 year old Corgi. He is a friendly, but high energy pup who would benefit from having other dogs around to play with. I sometimes dog sit my family dog with the corgi, so I am well versed in juggling puppy energy and training alongside senior care. I have a hobby photography background, so expect photo updates of your fur babies! 9/7 Mon ( Labor Day): FREE ALL DAY I'm currently mostly available on weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) and holidays. Only looking to board/daycare one dog at a time right now, just so I don't overwhelm my own dog. May increase to more than one in the future! Mon-Thurs: Daycare/House sitting: None. Boarding: Drop-off after 5pm Drop in visits, dog walking: Nights only, 8pm onwards. Fri/Sat/Sun availability: Usually free all day for all offered services. Limited availability: 8/22: Free 5pm onwards. 8/29: Free 8pm onwards. 8/30: Free 5pm onwards. 9/5 Sat (Labor Day weekend): Free 3pm onwards. 9/6 Sun (Labor Day weekend): Free 6pm onwards. We have basic grooming equipment, if needed, to file nails, shave paw pads, and brush out fur. Weekends, I am able to spend more time with pets, like go on longer walks and visit pet friendly places (if you're ok with that). I have a fenced yard with grass/concrete area and an energetic Corgi for your dog to play with! I'm very respectful in others' homes and will strive to leave everything the way I found it or better. I am super organized and love relying on making to-do lists to keep track of all my tasks and responsibilities. I have a whiteboard dedicated for this at my home, but use my phone when I'm outside or in other's homes. I'm open to both crate trained and not crate-trained dogs. For cats, I make sure the litterbox is always clean and try to play with them if they want. Additionally, I'm always mindful of entering and leaving homes, in case a pet makes an escape attempt through my open door. I'm very detail-oriented, have great communication skills, and take great notes. So I make sure I know exactly the type of care you want for your pet!
“This is like Copper’s second home now. He feels so comfortable being over there that he gets excited when we turn into their neighborhood. We are truly grateful for this relationship and trust Ching and her family to take good care of our pet.”

“April and Josh took care of our Charlie so well. Charlie is a high energetic Labrador with too much of separation anxiety and we were really worried to leave him for 2 nights. We did a meet & greet the day before, and Charlie got instantly comfortable. Their dog Boba is very lovable and gentle. April communicated regularly and responded in a timely fashion and also sent lots of pictures. Charlie was very happy and well taken care of! I would feel completely comfortable leaving Charlie in their care again!”

“Ashu and her husband did a great job with day care for our dog. They were patient, caring, and responsive throughout the day. They demonstrated a lot of experience and were able to get our reactive dog to get along with them very quickly.”

“We couldn’t have asked for better care for Kiko! Megan and Jenny were so flexible, thoughtful, and sent us lots of updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. Kiko was clearly in great hands — we’re so grateful and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!”

“Kendal was so great with Raven and very easy to work with. She got Raven to relax and cuddle by day 2 of knowing her which is a huge deal for our anxious little rescue baby!”
