About: I have spent my entire life with at least one dog in the household. I currently own two of my own that are ready to welcome slumber pawty guests! I have used Rover for years so I know what I like in a sitter, and plan to extend those same qualities and perks to our guests. My partner Ryan also works from home most days, and has also owned and cared for dogs and cats over the years. We both wake up early and let the pups out supervised in the fenced yard before breakfast. While the yard is fenced, we do keep a constant eye on them as they roam from the house to the yard throughout the day. Afternoon naps on the couch are typical. We usually go on early evening walks around the neighborhood if your pup has an exercise routine you’d like them to stick to. If they are good in public we are happy to take them on hikes. Our yard is fully fenced, and we have an additional fenced side yard with fake turf for when it’s raining and the pups don’t want to go outside.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and I always want to be around animals! I grew up with big dogs (75+ lbs and 50+) who loved to run and play. I’m very good at handling high energy pups. I also volunteered at the Peninsula Humane Society for 3 years in high school, and more recently began walking dogs for BACS in Berkeley. I’m a full time college student who makes time to go for runs. I’d love to bring a pet with me for a run or nice walk! In the evenings, I dedicate a few hours to self care and would absolutely make TLC with a pet a big part of that. I’m very, very busy on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I could probably only take care of a very active or high support needs animal from Friday through Monday. I live in an apartment and have my own room. We’ve had dogs stay over before, and are equipped with what they need. Also, my place is close to Willard Park, so I could take an animal there for daily walks. I’m super chill with animals on my bed, but I also have plenty of space for a bed or crate if they prefer!

“Sully had the most fun with Matthew & Luna (their sweet Golden)! From the moment we met him, we knew he was a huge dog lover. Sully normally doesn't love to fetch, but he turned into a new pup when he saw their yard! He did a ton of fetches back and forth and was already tired from our meet and greet! Their yard is amazing for pups to romp around in and I appreciated the pictures daily that Matthew sent through as I was out of town. “Shannon and Rocky were awesome! Our dog, Peanut, is 14 years old and needs more care than a younger pup. We were also gone for an extended period of time (10 days) which is unusual for us. Shannon and Rocky went above and beyond to make sure Peanut was comfortable, engaged and well cared for. They administered medications, cooked eggs and beef to top the dog food (how we get our dog to eat her food), and walked her at her own pace, which is often slow. Peanut requires a bit more work at her age and Shannon and Rocky were so lovely about it. We received updates and it was reassuring. Peanut seemed happy to be there, and we wouldn't hesitate to leave Peanut with them again.”

Maria and Kevan and kids were amazing. We left pur cavapoo with them for 18 days and she came back to us well fed, content, clean and healthy. I'm happy to echo all the great things that have been written in other reviews of Jeff and Beth's dog-sitting paradise! Our golden retriever, Kanga, loved the park-like yard from the moment she entered. And it was clear from the photos Jeff sent that Kanga got lots of extra outdoor fun every day in Redwood Park. Photos also showed that Kanga got lots of love from the kids in the household :) Logistics were easy - a meet-and-greet meeting was set at my convenience, as were drop-off and pick-up times. Beth was out of town so I didn't get to meet her, but Jeff set me at ease right away with his good organizational skills and his obvious love of dogs. We highly recommend Jeff and Beth's and look forward to returning!
Our dog Winston came home super happy from staying a week with Rachel and her family. We got text and photo updates, and she was great about communicating how he was doing.
