About: I’ve been working with animals since my teenage years, including 2 years at a pet store and assisting at multiple dog expos starting at age 16. I’ve owned and raised dogs throughout my life—one lived to 17 years old, and I currently have a 3-year-old friendly miniature poodle. I personally house-trained both of my dogs and have strong hands-on experience with daily care routines, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming (for cooperative dogs), and light grooming such as basic haircuts. I’m comfortable managing a structured, calm environment and have experience caring for multiple pets at home, including my two outdoor cats. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine. We are a family of six, and I am home 24/7, so dogs will never be left alone for long periods. I have a flexible schedule that allows for regular walks, supervised outdoor time, and attention throughout the day. My large gated property makes it easy to provide safe exercise, and we structure the day to keep dogs calm, engaged, and well cared for. Dogs in my home are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, structured environment with 24/7 supervision, so your pet is never left alone for long periods. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions. Dogs enjoy supervised outdoor time on our large, fully gated property, as well as long walks in our safe, dog-friendly neighborhood. Safety is our priority—we introduce dogs carefully, feed separately when needed, and adjust supervision and leash use based on each dog’s personality. They were able to take over sitting for Kirby as he wasn't getting along well with another dog at the other sitter. It was super last minute and i was 2000+ miles away yet they were able to take control of the situation and gave my Kirby the best time he’s ever had with a sitter. I know he can be a handful and very stubborn but Yena was more than capable and knowledgeable when it comes to dogs. Really appreciate the flexibility and care provided for my dog Kayla by Sophia and her husband Jonathan. Had some possible last-minute Vet issues and they were willing to still care for her. Fortunately, everything went smoothly and they kept me informed of Kayla‘s visit and sent photos. They also sent me photos when I asked as I was missing her. Christy took excellent care of my senior dachshund, Leia, while I was on a long weekend trip! It’s always nerve-wracking to leave your dog with a new person for the first time, but Christy went above and beyond to provide constant care for my girl and ensure that she (and I) were comfortable with her staying there. She provided peace of mind for me knowing that Leia was well taken care of while I was on my trip. She sent me photos and updates often so I knew how Leia was doing. I can’t recommend her enough! We’ll definitely be back again sometime soon for future trips.
Our dog Stirling had a great time with Jess & her dog Peach! They went on walks, went to the coffee shop and played at the dog park. Serafina was amazing with our anxious girl!! This was our first time hiring a pet sitter and I had no idea how our dog would do, but Serafina put both her and I at ease.
