I've been caring for animals since childhood. I have decades of hands-on experience with both dogs and cats of all personalities. I’ve cared for neonates, seniors, shy and anxious pets, high-energy dogs, and cats with complex medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, following special routines, and providing attentive care tailored to each pet. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, energy levels, and subtle signs of stress or illness. For shy or sensitive pets, I move at their pace, creating a calm, low-stress environment where they feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s playtime, walks, snuggles, or just quiet companionship, I adjust to each pet’s needs. Above all, I treat every dog and cat like family, with patience, affection, and respect for their unique personality.

Stefanie was a fantastic sitter for our sweet Shih Tzu, Ollie! She came through for us on relatively short notice, and we are so thankful. We could tell Ollie was having the time of his life getting all the snuggles and playing with the other sweet pups in Stefanie’s care. She is attentive, kind, and very communicative. Glad we found her!
Stefanie is great with my high energy German Shepherd. She seems to really see the sweet girl behind the wild energy which makes me feel good about leaving her in Stefanie’s care. And I love the pics she sends that show my pup having fun with other doggies. Ember gets excited when we pull up to her house and can’t wait to go in. And that’s always a good sign. ;)

Stephanie is awesome! My big lab is pretty anxious and excitable around new people and she warmed right up to Stephanie. She is super calm, confident, and obviously an experienced dog handler, and I felt great about sending my big fur baby off with her for an adventure. Will definitely be hiring her again for dog walks!
Stefanie was amazing with our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Pancho. Pancho settled in easily with Stefanie’s other canine friends and had a great time, judging from all the photos.

Schedule
I’m home during the day, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide individualized care for every pet. This allows me to accommodate special needs, from administering medications or fluids, to extra playtime, snuggles, or monitoring a pet’s health. Being home full-time ensures pets in my care always have attention, companionship, and a consistent routine, so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

I provide a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment for both dogs and cats. My home features a fully fenced yard for doggy guests to play and explore, plus several daily walks to keep them active and happy. I have a resident 15-year-old chihuahua who is friendly with both dogs and cats, and all pets are carefully supervised to ensure peaceful interactions. For cats, I only board one at a time or multiple from the same family. They enjoy their own bedroom outfitted with cozy cat trees, a water fountain, plenty of toys, and catnip. My resident and foster cats are kept separate from boarding pets if needed, so each animal feels safe and relaxed. Your pets will have individualized care, enrichment, and attention in a calm, secure space where they can feel at home while you’re away.

I keep pets on a routine similar to what they’re used to at home unless other instructions are given. The day includes feeding, walks, hikes and playtime, cuddles, enrichment, and quiet time to relax.
