Patient, loving care for every pup
I've always had a special connection with dogs, and they seem to feel comfortable around me almost immediately, even dogs that are typically shy or timid around new people. During COVID, my cousin got a puppy, and because I was working from home, I spent nearly every day helping care for him. I walked him, fed him, played with him, and provided companionship throughout the day while he learned his routine and grew into a happy, confident dog. As our bond grew, he began staying with me for weeks at a time whenever my cousin traveled. This gave me experience managing a dog's daily schedule, exercise needs, and overall well-being for extended periods. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their personality, energy level, and preferences so they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with a trusted companion, I'll make sure they receive attentive, dependable care and plenty of affection. I still work from home, so I am able to provide as much attention as the dog would like. I can provide as many videos, photos, and general updates as needed so you can relax and know they are in good hands.

I have taken care of both cats and dogs jointly with Serafina, even multiple animals at a time, and Serafina is consistently very in-tune with the animals she watches over. She is extremely attentive to everything happening around her and prepared for even the most unlikely of scenarios. On top of everything, her love for animals shines bright. She is easily able to connect with and care for any animal she meets.

Schedule
I work from home, so I can come to you and your pet during any day of the week! I am also free during the weekends for overnight stays or even if you would like me to host your animal at my place. I have a 2 story home with a large fenced in backyard.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced in backyard and no animals in the house. I can come to you and play with your animal in the comfort of their own home, or bring them over to mine and let them explore without fear that there is another animal that they might not be friendly with.
A typical day
We can play outside in my backyard, explore the neighborhood and check out the new smells, or take a long walk down the Contra Costa Canal Trail. I live very close to the Lime Ridge Open Space trailhead, so that could be a fun walk to take as well!
