“Abby did a great job watching Marley for the week while I was out of town. She sent lots of photos and she gave him a bath during his stay which I really appreciated!I can tell she loves dog sitting and that was a great feeling while I was on vacation!”

“Lucky had a great time with Sally. Got videos and excellent pictures on a regular basis. I was anxious as this was the first time Lucky was boarded. Sally expertly knew how to handle! Lucky is looking forward to visiting again!”

“Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out what will happen if Lauren is not available for my fur babies. Nylah and Whitney exhibited behavior with Lauren that they truly don't do when I'm not around. It's not just that my babies were cared for they were loved. And trust, animals absolutely will show you if they weren't loved up on. 10/10 recommended!”

“Shirley was wonderful and sent tons of photos or videos while she was taking care of my girl. My dog is a little anxious and neurotic but Shirley was very patient and accommodating. My pup came home happy and healthy and I will be using Shirley and her husband in the future. My only comment is that I didn’t realize there would be other dogs there in addition to her own three and mine (we did a meet and greet and I knew her dogs would be there but not the other dogs she was watching). No big deal but just awareness !”

“Stefanile is a great sitter. She was incredibly accommodating and patient in dealing with my dog—a rather shy, introverted, and somewhat challenging dog. Given her deep understanding of canine personalities and traits, as well as her extensive experience as a sitter, I was able to entrust Chaco to her care with peace of mind. She sent updates and photos, making communication very easy. Thank you!”

“As always, Lori was amazing. We boarded our 13lb dog for 3 weeks with Lori while we were out of the country. So pleased with the care our pup receives. She comes home happy, and well-adjusted everytime.”
“Great experience for Stella, my 3 year old Border Collie / Husky mix. Both Lisa and her two dogs were very welcoming and Stella had a great time. I would not hesitate to use Lisa again !! Thanks Lisa !”

“Justine is awesome overall! She is kind, caring, pays great attention to detail and is very responsive. Xander was with Justine for a week and we were at peace knowing that he was with someone who cared about him as much as we do! Additionally, her pup Bodi just wants to play with your dog :) On her end, Justine also kept us in the loop the whole time with regular pics and videos and went above and beyond in caring for Xander with regular walks, play time and park time! I recommend her with no reservations and would happily board Xander with her again.”

“Biswas was amazing and took great care of my goldendoodle! I boarded Snoopy for 3 weeks during my holiday vacation in Asia and Biswas kept me up-to-date with pictures and videos of how Snoopy was doing. This was also my first time boarding with someone from Rover, and I'm very glad I found Biswas as he made this a great experience and treated my dog with respect and care. Just from connecting with him on our first video call, I can tell that he loves dogs and is a very nice person. When I came over to pick Snoopy up on the last day, it seems that Snoopy wanted to stay longer lol. I cannot recommend him enough and will definitely be booking with him for any future boarding!”

About: Hi, I’m Stacy—and caring for dogs is something I’ve dedicated years to. While I’m new to Rover, I bring 10 years of hands on experience volunteering at a well known Walnut Creek animal shelter. I foster dogs, assist with service dog training, walk dogs, and work on behavior—so I’m confident with shy, anxious, senior, and high-energy pups. I’m self employed and work from home with a flexible schedule. When I’m caring for a dog, they are my priority and get plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. 🔹My home is peaceful, with no young children and no dog of my own—ideal for dogs who thrive in a quieter environment. I have a large fenced yard for safe play or relaxing in the sun or shade, and I live steps from a trail for daily walks if your dog enjoys extra exercise. 🔹I follow your dog’s routine closely and tailor each stay to their individual needs. Safety, structure, and lots of love are always my focus. ➡️ You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and videos so you can feel confident your pup is happy and well cared for.
About: While I've lived with dogs almost my whole life, I finally adopted my own 10 years ago. She is my friend, my companion, and my designated snuggler. Her mischievous antics always keep me on my toes. We love walks at open spaces in the East Bay - especially Briones and Lime Ridge. I am self-employed and enjoy a very flexible schedule. I wake up early to get a good start to the day, and value an organized schedule. I want to make your pet feel as comfortable and safe as I can. Your pets will have a clean, full water bowl, food on time, and an environment free of waste. I'm an expert at administering medication, as needed. If your pet needs some smooches and scratches, I have more than enough to spare. I will follow your instructions to the letter.
“Having to leave behind a pet is already heart breaking enough and then to look for a reliable pet sitter is another challenge. Fortunately we found Vanson, he took care of our dog, Brodie, for 2.5 weeks and kept in touch with us the entire time with messages, pictures and videos of their activities. It was comforting to know that our pet was in good hands and well cared for. We will definitely entrust Brodie with Vanson again in the future.”

“Sabrina is great and professional! She took such great care of Riley, he was so happy & had so much fun. In all the pictures we got he was smiling. We will definitely be calling her again when we go out of town again. I highly recommend her!”
About: Hi! I’m a reliable and caring dog lover who treats every pup like family. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a safe place to stay, or extra attention during the day, I’ve got it covered. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, and I’m happy to follow any specific routines or needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is in great hands! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I make time each day for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention and care they need to feel comfortable and happy. During the week, I’m consistent about maintaining pets’ normal schedules—whether that’s morning and evening walks, feeding routines, or medication if needed. I also build flexibility into my schedule so I can adapt to each pet’s individual needs and personality. On weekends or during longer stays, I enjoy spending extra time with pets outdoors, playing, or just keeping them company so they feel relaxed while their owners are away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, cared for, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I care for pets by keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, make sure they get plenty of exercise and playtime, and give them lots of attention based on their personality and needs. I also keep their environment clean and safe and always follow any instructions from the owner. Communication is important to me, so I send regular updates and photos to keep owners informed while they’re away.
“This was our first time boarding our two golden retrievers and Virginie and Maxime were wonderful to my girls! They played with them, took them on walks, and included them in their family activities. They sent me pictures and videos so I knew that they were taken care of and having fun. I’ve already recommended them to two of my friends!”

Stefanile is a great sitter. She was incredibly accommodating and patient in dealing with my dog—a rather shy, introverted, and somewhat challenging dog. Peter and his family are the best - my pup can be very anxious and a handful at times but he loves going to Peter’s, he is always happy to go and happy when I pick him up! I know he is loved and very well cared for when he’s at Peter’s and that’s all I can ask for as a pet owner!

Excellent dog sitter, our husky had a friend to play with for a few days and our dog looked completely at ease and relaxed with Daniela, laying on her back with tummy exposed and smiling. (Yes, dogs can smile when happy and content). Daniela was very flexible and helped out with a last minute reservation and we could not have asked for more. We will definitely use her services in the future.

Sachi is great!! We had never boarded our dog Bella before and were a bit nervous in doing so; especially my husband as Bella is 'his girl'. After reading a number of reviews we reached out to Sachi and arranged a meet and greet at a local park about 10 days prior. We felt good about the meeting and booked with Sachi as we didnt feel we needed to keep looking. The closer we got to leaving for our trip my husband was nervous all over again. NOT because we didnt have a good feeling/vibe from Sachi (because we did) but because he worried how our dog would react to us leaving her in a strange place. I reached out to Sachi and we both decided if might be a good idea to do a trial run and leave Bella with her for a half day before our trip. We brought her over 2 days before our trip for about 5 hours. All went smoothly which gave us that extra little reassurance that we needed. She sent us pictures daily and was quick to respond if we checked in with her. I am not sure when we will need to board Bellla again but 100% sure if/when we do we will most definitely reach out to Sachi first. In our eyes she is now our forever dog sitter. You can't go wrong with having Sachi take care of your beloved pet.

Our boys stayed with Sabrina twice recently on short notice. They were so excited to return the second time they were dropped off. They barely looked back after they were in the yard. I'm glad our boys liked staying with Sabrina, and we would definitely book again!

This was my pup's first long stay with Sylvia, who was so kind to inquire about her sleeping arrangements so that we could set her up "just like at home." Sylvia helped my dog get over her anxiety during the first couple of days. It's so nice to relax, knowing Sylvia is taking such great care of my dog during her stays!

Jaimie treated Pepper like her own! Her attention to detail is amazing—she even took notes during our meet and greet to make sure she didn't miss a thing. The updates and pictures she sent yesterday kept us smiling and totally at ease. Pepper was so happy! We will definitely be booking Jaimie again💖

Leo absolutely loves Colleen and Paul. She has become an extension of our family and we couldn't ask for a better sitter. She is very observant to Leo's moods and often comical behavior. She maintains his schedules and he's never shown any distress in adapting to her home environment. She provides the right balance of daily updates so we never worry how's he doing. I highly recommend Colleen to care for your fur baby.!
Kedarnath and his wife were very caring and considerate with our dog Daisy. We left Daisy (7YO German Shepherd) with them for 9 days and everything went smoothly. They handled feeding, walking, daily meds, play, and kept our dog safe. They sent us daily pics when requested. I would happily use them again.
Sulamita was amazing! Not only did she take my dog for a week when I unexpectedly had to go out of town last minute, she took the best care of her! She was in constant communication sending photos daily and my pup had the best time! They had so much fun together and our dog was so happy. Highly recommend!!
