About: I strive to provide a welcoming, enriching home away from home for your dog. To ensure the best care possible, I only accept up to 2 dogs at a time. You can expect regular updates throughout your pup’s stay. Safety is a top priority. I check my yard regularly for potential hazards and do paw checks for foxtails after every walk. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space for zoomies. Dogs can explore the garden, sunbathe on the grass, or lounge under the shaded pergola. Pets are welcome on the couch, and I also have extra dog beds and an indoor dog house for pups who prefer a little more personal space. My experience: I have a 6yo maltipoo named Chewy and 14yo shihtzu named Joey. They are very respectful of other dogs’ personal space. I trained Chewy using positive reinforcement and taught him many tricks and commands. I have been caring for dogs of all sizes and ages since I was 15. My senior dog experience includes fostering one who was adopted into her forever home and providing long-term care for two others. I’m very comfortable administering medication, preparing special diets, and grooming. Rover is a side hobby, and I ask for a little advance notice so I can prepare for my doggie guest. I follow the schedule provided by the paw-parents. If none is given then it’s usually a morning potty break, breakfast, walk, mid day potty break, dinner, and potty before bedtime. Playtime is sprinkled throughout the day or I may incorporate it with their meal time like food in a puzzle toy. I tailor care to each dog’s needs. Every day includes physical exercise or mental stimulation such as daily walks, fetch, tug-of-war, command training, puzzle toys. Let me know how your preferences during the Meet & Greet so I can match your dog’s routine.
“Stefanie is the best. She takes great care of my rambunctious 2 frenchies and they adore her. She's very conscientious and prompt and I know my pups are getting attention and being well cared for.”

About: I have pet sat several different dogs, cats and bunnies. I work from home and I am able to stay and take care of animals for weeks at a time. I’ve had two family dogs of medium size and love them very much. I ensure that I will treat your animals like my own with kindness and love. I work from home so I am able to house sit and pet sit for as long as needed. As long as I have access to Wi-Fi, I will be able to stay for long periods of time. I will take dogs out on walks twice a day (morning and evening) and give them frequent potty brakes. I will ensure that water is filled and they are fed on a regular schedule. I have experience serving dogs, wet and dry food along with prescribed medication. I have one dog at home right now. Since I live with my dad, there is always someone to take care of him while i’m away. I take my dog on daily walks and feed him on a regular schedule. When he is prescribed medicine, I feed him with a treat which he enjoys.
“Taylor is most excellent! She knew and provided just what Gracie and I needed, and more! I believe I hit the jackpot when I found Taylor! So kind, sweet, understanding and helpful!”

“Dede was fantastic! She took great care of my boys, and was swift with a potty accident that happened after we left. Our eldest, Bilbo, has a tendency to show his disproval that way... but Dede was a trooper! She kept us updated on their temperaments the whole time we were gone. They absolutely loved her company! We came back and it was like we were never gone, they welcomed us without giving us the cold shoulder, couldn't be happier with how well Dede took care of them :-).”

“Amazing doggy sitter! Lisa you are so thorough, easy to communicate with and you definitely go above and beyond! Thank you for taking care of my sweet girl and ensuring she was well taken care of. Our worries are at ease knowing we have a well known and reliable sitter. Thank you again!”

“Natalia was absolutely wonderful with all 3 of my dogs! From the very beginning, she was a fantastic communicator and made sure she understood everyone's routine. She looked after Koa, Gatsby and Barley perfectly and sent regular photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind while I was at work. It’s clear she truly loves animals, and my dogs took to her right away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!”

About: I'm a retired officer, background-checked through Rover, and have more than 10 years of experience caring for my own dogs as well as friends', family members', and clients' pets. Throughout my career and personal life, responsibility, trustworthiness, and attention to detail have always been important to me, and I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for. In 2016, I adopted Barney the Shih Tzu, followed by Jack in 2019. Both were estimated to be about four years old at the time. In 2025, Jack passed away from bone cancer, giving me firsthand experience caring for a senior dog with significant medical needs. In 2022, I rescued Penny, the white pup in my profile photo. Certifications & Experience • Cat & Dog First Aid (American Red Cross) • Experience administering oral medications • Experience caring for senior pets and pets with special needs • Experience caring for dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, and temperaments, including a large Rottweiler I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, consistency, and individualized care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, senior and slower-paced, or simply happiest sticking to a familiar routine, my goal is to provide dependable care while helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I'm home much of the time. This allows me to provide regular companionship, potty breaks, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Because I intentionally limit the number of pets I care for at one time, I am able to provide a more personalized level of attention and maintain a calmer environment for the pets in my care. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. Consistency helps pets feel comfortable, secure, and relaxed while their owners are away. My schedule is generally flexible, allowing me to accommodate a variety of care needs, including daycare, overnight care, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in a client's home. Pick-up and drop-off service may be available depending on distance and scheduling. My dogs are part of the family and spend much of their time relaxing near us, on the furniture, or curled up on a lap. Visiting pets are treated with the same level of care, attention, and companionship while in my home. Dogs are welcome on furniture unless owners request otherwise. I intentionally limit the number of guest dogs I accept at one time to help create a calm, safe, and low-stress environment. This allows me to provide close supervision and a more personalized experience than many high-volume pet care settings. If you prefer your dog to be crated for sleeping, feeding, or when unattended, I'm happy to accommodate as long as a crate is provided. Visiting dogs should be reasonably housebroken, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis for puppies and special circumstances. Meet-and-greets are strongly preferred whenever possible before services begin. They allow me to learn about your pet's personality, needs, and comfort level while helping determine whether my home and care style are a good fit. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the owner's home, providing dependable care, companionship, exercise, and attentive supervision. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, consistency, and respect. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed, secure, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“April was absolutely wonderful with our senior pup Chuck! As first-timers trusting someone outside family with him, we couldn't have asked for better care. Her vet tech background gave us huge peace of mind, and she was so communicative and genuinely sweet with Chuck the whole time. 10/10, would book again!”

“Jessica was great! She was a great communicator and kept me updated with photos and videos so I could see my little fur angel while away. She even went above and beyond by offering to water my poor plants that I had just traumatized after repotting them! Jessica arrived right on time for our meet-and-greet and clearly understood how cats operate — giving Ree space to come to her first. I felt comfortable with Jessica knowing my cat (and plants!) were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!”

“Heather was great with our cats! I really didn’t think they would come out of hiding, but she did it! I received pictures each visit that made it so much easier to be away. Would totally recommend:) Thank you!!”

About: I have always had pets including fish, cats, dogs and a chinchilla. I have pet sit 4 dogs at a time and house sat for family and friends. Over the summer I work, go to school and play sports part time, but I have a good amount of time in the morning and afternoon to check in on all animals! I have a fenced backyard, friendly dogs and experience with dogs and cats. In your home I will ask for specific instructions on pet and home care to ensure the best care and experience with your pets!

About: We have a busy, loving home with 3 kids, one cat, & two dogs. If your dog loves to be with a busy family, we're the right place for you. I have many years of pet care experience including veterinary care and dog training experience (specifically, I've trained my own dogs through the Petsmart dog training program and passed the Canine Good Citizen test). I'm very comfortable around all types of dogs and animals. I've always treated my pets as part of our family and would always treat any animal in my care with the same devotion. We have three kids (ages 14-16) and they are all used to animals and they are very caring and love to play with all the dogs when they come home from school. The cats can easily avoid the dogs if they want to as they have their own outdoor catio and room. We keep our air conditioner on for our dog already during hot days so any dogs with thick fur will feel very comfortable. There's no carpet in our house so potty issues are easier to manage as well. I work from home, so other than errands or short outings the dogs have someone home with them nearly all the time. We have a gated kitchen so dogs can be separated if needed. We have a large fenced yard with a covered patio and when it’s too hot to be outside, the dogs are in the air conditioned house with us.

Unfortunately our elderly cat suffered a life ending event while we out of town and Sabrina was caring for her. Sabrina rushed her to an emergency vet and stayed with her until the end and then returned to our house afterwards to clean up so we would not have to return to even more trauma. She was so compassionate, knowledgeable and kind. She really went way above and beyond and we will be forever grateful to her for her care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
