“Tatiana is the best! She’s so caring and loving to my cats. She is very thorough with her reports of the visit and send pics and videos. Tatiana goes above and beyond by cleaning the cat room, litter boxes, etc. Most of all I feel reassured during my time away that my cats are being well taken care of by Tatiana.”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of cats and dogs in the past 10+ years. Friends have relied on me to take care their pets (dog boarding/home visits) when They are away. I am mainly working from home, so I can adjust my work time to fit your pets’ need on weekday. And should be all available on weekend. I care for my pets like my family. For your pet, I will understand What your pet needs first, and take care of them as you usually do, not making them stressed about your away.
“Kamila was very knowledgeable and understood what was needed for my critters. She also sent pictures and updates and asked questions when needed. Very happy with Kamila and definitely book again next time.”

About: I am a responsible and caring pet lover who enjoys spending time with animals. While I don’t have professional pet-sitting experience, I have helped care for pets of friends and family, including feeding, walking, playing, and providing companionship. I am patient, reliable, and will treat your pets with the same care and attention I would give my own. I am a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care throughout the day. I spend most of my time at home or running local errands, so I can easily fit pet visits, walks, feeding, and playtime into my routine. My partner also has a flexible schedule and is happy to help when needed, allowing us to provide consistent care and attention for your pets. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and routines to help your pet feel secure and comfortable. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, and I will provide patient, loving care while keeping you updated with photos and messages. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a safe, stress-free experience.
“Rachael was punctual, great with communication, and took cute photos of our boys. She seems to have a lot of experience and wasn't intimidated by our younger dog that can be a handful. We look forward to having her come again!”

About: I grew up around animals since I was born, my family always having cats and dogs. I have experience giving medication to cats, doing custom feedings for both dogs and cats as well as walking low maintenance dogs. I am looking to do drop ins for people in need. I work in Walnut Creek from 7-4pm daily with an hour lunch break. I live in Pittsburg. I’m available for drop in visits at 6am. 11:30am and after 4pm. As well as all day on weekends. I am open to short term over night care in the persons home, as my cat doesn’t do well with other animals. I’m looking forward to speaking with you! I currently work 645am-345pm with an hour lunch. I live in Pittsburg and work in Walnut Creek so I am able to travel to different cities if needed. I am not able to board due to having a cat who is not pet friendly. I also live in an apartment not suitable for dogs.
“Daria was fantastic and we highly recommend her. We have a large golden who likes to tug on the leash every so often and she was amazing with him. She took him for walk each day sent us photos of each walk. Even took time to brush him and play with him! We could not be happier with Daria.”

About: I'm a retired officer, background-checked through Rover, and have more than 10 years of experience caring for my own dogs as well as friends', family members', and clients' pets. Throughout my career and personal life, responsibility, trustworthiness, and attention to detail have always been important to me, and I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for. In 2016, I adopted Barney the Shih Tzu, followed by Jack in 2019. Both were estimated to be about four years old at the time. In 2025, Jack passed away from bone cancer, giving me firsthand experience caring for a senior dog with significant medical needs. In 2022, I rescued Penny, the white pup in my profile photo. Certifications & Experience • Cat & Dog First Aid (American Red Cross) • Experience administering oral medications • Experience caring for senior pets and pets with special needs • Experience caring for dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, and temperaments, including a large Rottweiler I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, consistency, and individualized care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, senior and slower-paced, or simply happiest sticking to a familiar routine, my goal is to provide dependable care while helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I'm home much of the time. This allows me to provide regular companionship, potty breaks, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Because I intentionally limit the number of pets I care for at one time, I am able to provide a more personalized level of attention and maintain a calmer environment for the pets in my care. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. Consistency helps pets feel comfortable, secure, and relaxed while their owners are away. My schedule is generally flexible, allowing me to accommodate a variety of care needs, including daycare, overnight care, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in a client's home. Pick-up and drop-off service may be available depending on distance and scheduling. My dogs are part of the family and spend much of their time relaxing near us, on the furniture, or curled up on a lap. Visiting pets are treated with the same level of care, attention, and companionship while in my home. Dogs are welcome on furniture unless owners request otherwise. I intentionally limit the number of guest dogs I accept at one time to help create a calm, safe, and low-stress environment. This allows me to provide close supervision and a more personalized experience than many high-volume pet care settings. If you prefer your dog to be crated for sleeping, feeding, or when unattended, I'm happy to accommodate as long as a crate is provided. Visiting dogs should be reasonably housebroken, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis for puppies and special circumstances. Meet-and-greets are strongly preferred whenever possible before services begin. They allow me to learn about your pet's personality, needs, and comfort level while helping determine whether my home and care style are a good fit. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the owner's home, providing dependable care, companionship, exercise, and attentive supervision. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, consistency, and respect. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed, secure, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“Asuka is amazing! I received daily texts/photos and concerns re: our pups and home while we were gone. I can definitely trust that my pups are well taken care of with Asuka!”

“Michelle took such great care of Arya and Tayto our two Scottish Folds! She was so sweet to them and sent lots of adorable pictures of our fur babies! Thank you so much Michelle!”

“Jessica did a great job with Frankie! I could tell Franks was enjoying her time with Jessica. I really appreciate her updates and pics. I will definitely use her services again!”

“Courtney is wonderful! We have very anxious dogs and she did an amazing job giving them individual care to ensure they were comfortable, safe and cared for while we were out of town. She is highly communicative and thoughtful. Would definitely book again!”

“Samantha was absolutely incredible, we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment she started caring for Hudson and Jaxson, it was clear how attentive, responsible, and genuinely caring she is. She made sure both dogs were well taken care of with regular potty breaks, meals, and water, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. What really stood out was how thoughtful and communicative she was, keeping us updated and treating our dogs like they were her own. Hudson and Jaxson both seemed happy, comfortable, and relaxed when we got back, which says everything. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pets, but Samantha exceeded every expectation. We would 100% book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, kind, and truly great with animals.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a very young child, and my first ever dog was also the most medically complicated dog ever. She required a twice daily walk at minimum for 2-3 miles due to her energy, but she also had a lot of different allergies, which meant that after every walk, I had to give her either a bath or good cleaning of the paw and face. I can easily take your dog on a very, very long walk or run, and will give them the utmost love and cuddles after it all. I can drop by or stay overnight at any house and can easily adjust my schedule regarding personal activities to make sure your pet(s) have tons of attention. While I do not have pet first aid certifications, I have held a Red Cross certifications for first aid and blood borne pathogens prevention. I also have a picky kitty who needs his medicines to be hidden within his food or given to him directly, so I have practice with that as well.
“Megan is always so wonderful with my 2 pups! She's very attentive and cares to all their needs! She always communicates and ensures that I know the status of how my pups are doing and if they need anything additional while I am away. Hire Megan for her attentiveness and quick responses to all your needs!”

“Brooke was great! Very easy to coordinate with and kept us in the loop for everything. Our dog seemed happy and calm when we returned as well. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

Tatiana is the best! She does amazing with my 4 cats who all need lots of love and affection and personalized attention. She gives each of them wonderful care and attention and she even got my very shy cat to warm up to her. She goes above and beyond with her care and attention to details of my cat’s health and well being and cleanliness of their boxes and room. Third time using her services and will use again. Absolutely recommend.

Sabrina was a great sitter! I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my cat was being well taken care of and that I would receive regular updates. Having that peace of mind is the most important thing for me when I’m away for an extended period. When I arrived home, it was like I had never left—my cat was happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely book with Sabrina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter. 🐱💕

Vicki was amazing taking care of my two elder guinea pigs while I went out of town. Unfortunately, one of my guinea pigs fell ill right before I left and was left with six various medications. Vicki was great at following instructions, asking questions, and letting me know about any behavioral changes. I was definitely thrown a lot of curveballs, and Vicki handled them like a champ. I would definitely recommend!

Amanda was a great pet sitter for our cat! She was there on time and stayed for the full duration of each booking. We loved the different updates and pictures she sent with each visit, she was there to spend time with him. We could tell our cat warmed up to her quickly and enjoyed her company, which put us at ease during vacation. Will definitely be booking her again.

Daria was a fantastic pet sitter for our cat - very attentive and caring. She came by for a meet and greet first, which we really appreciated, and kept us updated with professional-quality, super cute photos and videos. Would absolutely book with her again.

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
